Million Gift From Father
Kelly
was yesterday at the 30th anniversary celebration for the Shatin
racecourse. Being a huge horse racing fan and showing his support
for her daughter, Kelly's father was seated at the audience stand
and he gave his full support by standing up and cheering during her
performance. Besides this, Kelly's wedding gown is finally ready and
her father has also specially designed a diamond jewelry for her
dowry.
Kelly
was extremely happy that her father had came to support her and
added that he is a horse fan. She added that the shirt he was
wearing was given by her and made him look very handsome. She had
already received the jewelry set designed by her father. However,
she does not want to look like a "Christmas tree" and
hence did not request to have a necklace. She is very satisfied with
his works and is now thinking of how to complement them to her
dressing. She happily said that her wedding gown will be sleeveless
and every design done by Yee Chung Man is to her taste. This is a
meaningful gift from him and her manager and she will treasure it as
a momento.
Even
though Kelly is not a gambler, she had bought bets for the horse
racing through her father as she had heard that the wedding will
bring her luck. After her performance, she had to proceed to China
for a show. 2 days from her wedding, she would attend the lighting
ceremony for TVB station's anniversary. She said that it was an easy
task as she only needed to sing 1-2 songs. Kelly claims that her
relation with TVB is still good even though she does not have a
contract. When asked if the station had some special surprises for
her? She replied that only the station knows about it. Will the
station be persuading her to signa contract? She felt that it did
not make any difference. Awards with the contract are unrelated.
Kelly's
father was also extremely excited that her daughter is getting
married. He has already prepared his suit for the day and will be
presenting a speech. However, he said that it will not be a long
speech and will not know if he will cry on that day. When asked if
he had accepted $10 million for the dowry, he said that he does not
want to talk about this. He is satisfied with both the sum for the
dowry as well as his son-in-law. He gave him 100 marks. He hoped
that Kelly will immediately have a child after married as he is
longing to have a grandchild.How will he teach Kelly to be a good
daughter-in-law? He said that she will know what to do as she is
already grown up.

Solemnization
Kelly
had attended the HK Hospital Charity Day held at Causeway Bay
atrium. She had performed the drums with a handicapped girl. Kelly
said that she has no difficulty in hearing but she does not know if
it is the problem of her frequently using the earphones to practise
singing. Furthermore, she is impatient and tends to talk quickly and
loudly. However, she will be very gentle when she is at the wedding
solemnization.
She
is now 11 days away from her wedding but her wedding gown is still
not completed. She said that it is very beautiful and special
and her husband will be surprised. She said that according to the
show "Sex & The City", it is bad luck for the husband
to see the wedding gown prior to the actual day of marriage. As
such, she will only wear it on that day and take pictures.

admitted that she is anxious to become a mother but it all depends
on God's will. Will she go out to party the night before her wedding
to celebrate being single? She jokingly said that she does that
everyday! Actually, she is a simple person and will not go out to
party. She already dated her good friends for dinner.

Cards
Kelly
and Alex have already set their wedding day on 2 October and after
Kelly's announcement of the good news during her concert, the
preparations for the big day has always been made known to the
public to share their happiness. They have started distributing the
invites to their relatives yesterday. As the venue has limited
space, there will only be 50 tables and many of their friends and
fans were not able to attend. However, Kelly has disclosed the
specially designed invitation cards to the press.
The
invitation cards are in the shape of a booklet in white cover
printed with the words "When Kelly met Alex". The pages
are in pink and purple and printed with Kelly's 2 loved songs
"Love Paradise" and "Lover's Concerto". The 2
songs symbolises their love.
Besides
the 2 songs, there are also 2 pieces of butter paper printed with
the wedding details in Chinese and English. In the other is Kelly's
handwriting to the guests "2 October 2008 Thursday, we are
married! Hope that you can share our happiness! Love Kelly &
Alex". The design of the card is done by Kelly's album designer
and both Kelly and Alex had given their ideas to the design
especially on the color combination and content. They hope that the
cards look trendy and romantic and had therefore chose some colors
that are different from the usual red.
Kelly's
manager had claimed that the 2 selected songs are Kelly's favourites.
She added that whenever Kelly attends her friends wedding, she would
sing these 2 songs to congratulate the couple. This time, Kelly is
the female lead and she would also sing them to Alex as well as the
guests.
Although
the wedding day is near, Kelly has yet to stop her work. Her manager
said that she would only stop 4 days from the wedding. Even on her
birthday on 13th September, she will spend it in work. Kelly had not
request for any break and tomorrow she needs to go Guangzhou for a
Mid Autumn Festival event. Following that is a performance at Hefei.
Kelly said that she will carry on her work and there is no need to
stop them because she is getting married.
At this moment, she had only purchased 1 gown for the wedding. The 2
other gowns done by Yee Chung Man are not ready as he will only
return to HK on the 18th. As such, Kelly has no time to take
pre-wedding photos. Instead, she chose to take the pictures on the
actual day and she has engaged 3 photographers for the job. Also,
the HK press will be invited to take pictures for report and there
will definitely be no problem to pick nice looking photos. Kelly and
Alex will be engaged at 8pm on that day and the only celebrity that
is invited is Eric Tsang as he is the host for the event. The guests
list make up of relatives and friends of the couple.

to be Kelly was giving out moon cakes and playing games with the
elderlys yesterday. When asked if she was also getting along well
with her in-laws, she replied definitely. They like her very much
and are very open-minded. If she has any suggestions, she will
discuss with them. She admitted that they do not disapprove of her
being sexy because they know her own limits. As such, marriage and
having children is a way to thank them for their understanding.
Kelly will be working during the Mid Autumn Festival but her fiance
did not utter any complaints. She said that he was used to it.
Besides, his family is westernised and they do not celebrate the
event. At the moment, Kelly will only stop all work 4 days from her
wedding day.
Kelly
has already made plans when she gets old. She hopes that her
children would all have grown up and they could travel around the
world together. She feels that she would gain weight during that age
but she would want to be a stylish grandmother. However, she would
not wear hot pants for fear of getting rheumatism.

Kelly
and Hacken Lee had a part in the Charity show on Saturday night to
raise funds. During the show, Kelly had performed the belly dance
that she had done in her concert. In another show for the
handicapped Olympics opening ceremony, she admitted that she was
feeling nervous in the performance because the Chief Executive was
also present. However, when she saw a girl with three fingers
playing the piano so well, she was extremely touched.
That
night in the charity show, Hacken again had the opportunity to
congratulate Kelly to be a bride soon. When asked he had any tips
for her, he laughed that when he got married , Alan Tam had taught
him the skill of hanging the inverted hook. This proved to be
effective as later he did have a son. As such, he will also pass the
skills to Kelly but she needs to understand the meaning of it
herself or perhaps she could ask Alan personally. When Kelly knew
that Hacken will impart the skills to her, she said that she is very
interested and would hope that Hacken can demonstrate to her as
well!

attended the fashion show for ECCO on Friday night and was awarded a
sum of $300 000 for donation to her Children Education Fund. It
is almost a month to her wedding but Kelly was still busy in her
work and was unlike most brides who are going for facials and
slimming sessions. She laughed that she has another 2 events to
attend the following day. If she is feeling happy, there will not be
a need for her to go for facial treatment. She does not need to go
on a diet but she will not eat recklessly too so that she will keep
looking good.
Some
magazines have reported that she had received over $10 million worth
of gifts from sponsors. She admitted to that and said that the items
from 3d Gold are definitely that cost! Her manager reminded her that
the sponsored jewelry from 3d Gold are only loaned to her. Kelly
replied that it is good even if it is only on loan as she can keep
the pictures taken as a momento. As to the $300 000 donated by ECCO,
it will be used to rebuild the schools in China that were destroyed
in the earthquake and 22 will be built. More will be added in the
future.

After
announcement of her marriage to her boyfriend of 10 years, Kelly was
always with smiles in her events that she attended. Yesterday, she
was as spokesperson for Maxim to promote their new range of Oriental
wedding pastries. Kelly had the chance to reenact a traditional
Chinese wedding. She was in a gown fully in red
and was carried out on a sedan by 4 men.
When
she talked about the recent dowry ceremony, she happily said that
her father's house is now filled with the wedding pastries,
coconuts, red packets, wine and candles. There were rumors that her
dowry was more than $10 million. Kelly denied this and questioned
who had said so? She said that these years they have true feelings
and do not talk about monetary matters. They received a number of
sponsors and she had even helped him to save up on the wedding fees.
Next week, she will be giving out the invites and pastries. The
invitation cards are conceptualised by Kelly and in white with some
other colours. However, there will not be any of their photos on it.
When
told that it was a taboo for her to meet her boyfriend on the day of
the dowry, Kelly was confused and replied that they did see each
other on that day but her father had only told her not to go to his
house. She was not aware of any other taboos.
Kelly
added that she is not excited about the wedding day but laughed that
her fiance had to go up on stage to say his thanks during the dinner
and he is more anxious than her. Her bridemaids have also came up
with pranks on him for the whole night. As to the progress of her
fiance's diet plan, she replied that he has a strong will to do so
and has already shown some improvements. If he did not succeed, will
she accept him? Kelly smiled and said she would definitely accept.
She later even revealed that her fiance was worried that he will
look fat in the white suit. As for herself, she has prepared 3 sets
of gowns but the one designed by Yee Chung Man is still not ready.
As such, she was unable to take any wedding pictures but she will
consider to take them on the actual day. She would also not wear a
traditional Chinese wedding gown but instead had chose a Western red
dress.

Dowry
There
were rumors of Kelly giving out invites for her wedding yesterday
and there will be an additional 2 tables for her friends from
showbiz. However, her manager had denied this. She had said that the
invites were not printed yet and they will only be given out a week
later. As they did not want to only invite selected people from
showbiz, they finally decided not to get any of them to the wedding
dinner. She laughed that Kelly only had 4 tables for herself to
invite her classmates. The other tables are taken up by her father
and the male's side business clients and relatives.
Kelly
was still busy in her work and she did not even bother about the
traditional dowry ceremony that took place a few days back. Was it
real that her fiance had given her father over $10 million for
the dowry? Kelly's manager replied that she had not asked Kelly's
father as she does not want to be a busybody. What is most important
is that the couple will be happy.

元 禮 金 的 傳 聞 。 鍾 珍 說 ： 「 我 無 問 到 陳
父 多 少 禮 金 ， 太 八 卦 了 ， 相 信 Kelly 都 未
必 有 問 ， 總 之 兩 個 人 開 心 幸 福 就 得 啦 ！
