Promoting
Her Album
Kelly
will release her 3 CD new songs + compilation album in mid December
and one of the CDs will feature a remix version of her fast songs so
as to complement the Christmas festive season. Was this idea to
counteract piracy? Kelly replied that the albums are always a target
for the music pirates but she recommended that 3 of the CDs are as
one and will only be priced as one. Besides this, there will be
beautiful pictures with the album and the image are slightly sexy
and mysterious. As such, she has urged people not to buy pirated
versions of the compilation,

the praying ceremony for the anti-crime show held yesterday, Kelly
laughed that Hacken Lee was much more worried than herself to have
his sickness spread to her. He had frequently asked her to keep away
from him. Kelly had also had the chance to meet her colleagues,
Taiwan boy group Energy. When they were slicing the roast pork after
the praying ceremony, the members did not dare to place their hands
on top of Kelly's. Kelly had to pull their hands together. Kelly
later explained that they probably did not know the procession.

」 拜 神 ， 面 對 發 燒 的 克 勤 ， 她 笑 指 克 勤
比 她 更 驚 ， 常 叫 她 離 開 幾 丈 遠 。 她 又 與
同 公 司 的 Energy 碰 面 ， 當 切 燒 豬 時 Energy 成
員 不 敢 搭 着 Kelly 的 手 ， 要 她 主 動 拉 對 方

Opinion On Love
Kelly
had recently been interviewed by Metro Radio and during the
interview she had talked about her opinion on love and had revealed
her feelings on the separation and make up with her boyfriend.
Kelly
had mentioned that when she was studying in the university, her
parents were separated. This had made her to question on everlasting
promises of love. Even now, she is only partly trustful on an
eternal relationship. Although Kelly is known to be pretty, she had
claimed that she has no suitors. This was probably due to her
slow-warming character on strangers and many were put off by her height. She
had only gone steady with her boyfriend after being together for 2
years. Besides being touched by the sincerity of her boyfriend, she
had also knew that he is not one that flirts around.
On
how she is able to maintain a steady relationship with her
boyfriend, she claimed that there is a technique. That is not to
anticipate the other party to change his character for her and vice
versa. Also, Kelly does not allow her partner to have a change of
heart and she would definitely be the first to request for a break
up.
Kelly
had once split up with her boyfriend but she did not want to reveal
who was the one that suggested because she felt that it was
unimportant. The separation was decided by both of them. During
those days, she was extremely sad especially during Christmas and
special occasions. Being back with her boyfriend, she was not
pressured as she had sufficient time during the split to think over
if they are compatible. Their current relationship is one that will
withstand tests.
As
both of them are busy in their work, they will meet up whenever they
are both in HK. However, these times are usually rare because both
of them like to be independent. As someone's girlfriend, Kelly had
revealed that she would often miss her boyfriend. Being together for
many years, she had many times been touched by him. An example was
that she found out that her boyfriend had kept all her presents
given to him. Whereas for her, she had already thrown her old
presents after they had split up.
Kelly
laughed that she would definitely expect a marriage proposal from
her boyfriend. She felt that wearing the wedding gown is not a
blessing to herself but it symbolises putting down her career to
enjoy her marriage life. Bearing children will definitely be
necessary as she likes them very much.

度 。 雖 然 Kelly 被 公 認 是 靚 女 ， 但 她 卻 斷
言 沒 有 人 追 求 ， 原 因 是 自 己 性 格 較 慢 熱
， 加 上 身 型 太 高 ， 異 性 等 閒 也 不 敢 行 近
； 當 日 跟 男 友 認 識 了 兩 年 時 間 才 一 起 ，
除 了 對 方 誠 意 打 動 ， 亦 因 知 道 男 友 並 非
花 花 公 子 。
說 到 與 男
友 相 處 之 道 ， Kelly 直 言 兩 人 相 見 時 間 十
分 少 ， 之 所 以 仍 可 維 持 好 感 情 ， 相 處 的
技 巧 很 重 要 ； 千 萬 不 可 以 期 望 對 方 為 自
己 改 變 性 格 ， 當 然 自 己 亦 不 會 因 對 方 而
改 變 。 另 外 ， Kelly 絕 不 容 許 男 友 有 異 心
， 若 對 方 見 異 思 遷 ， 她 一 定 主 動 說 拜 拜
。
Kelly 曾 跟 現
任 男 友 分 開 了 年 多 時 間 ， 到 底 當 日 是 由
誰 提 出 分 手 呢 ？ Kelly 覺 得 這 點 並 不 重 要
， 分 手 的 決 定 是 於 雙 方 共 識 之 下 產 生 ；
但 承 認 分 開 的 日 子 真 的 很 難 過 ， 特 別 是
在 聖 誕 節 等 特 別 節 日 。 與 男 友 再 次 走 在
一 起 ， 沒 有 太 大 壓 力 ， 分 開 的 日 子 可 以
好 好 想 清 楚 自 己 是 否 適 合 對 方 ； 現 在 跟
男 友 的 關 係 可 以 用 「 打 風 都 打 唔 甩 」 來
形 容 。
由 於 各 有
各 忙 ， 所 以 只 要 大 家 都 在 港 ， 都 會 盡 量
相 約 見 面 ， 但 亦 不 是 太 頻 密 ； Kelly 說 可
能 兩 人 的 性 格 比 較 獨 立 ， 覺 得 問 題 不 大
。 作 為 女 友 ， 她 坦 言 的 確 會 經 常 掛 念 男
友 ， 與 男 友 相 戀 多 年 亦 有 不 少 令 自 己 感
動 的 時 刻 ， 就 如 她 發 現 男 友 仍 將 所 有 她
送 的 禮 物 保 留 ， 反 而 她 本 身 於 分 開 時 已
經 全 部 拋 掉 呢 ！
對 於 兩 人
的 未 來 ， Kelly 笑 言 男 友 一 定 要 求 婚 ， 但
求 婚 方 式 則 不 會 左 右 男 友 ； 她 覺 得 披 嫁
衣 不 是 對 自 己 的 祝 福 ， 因 為 代 表 自 己 要
放 下 事 業 ， 想 婚 後 好 好 的 享 受 生 活 ， 至
於 生 小 朋 友 是 必 然 的 事 ， 因 為 小 朋 友 實
在 太 可 愛 。

Racer Kelly
After
a round of internet voting, Kelly defeated the other nominees to
become the ambassador for this year's Asia Game Show and she would
also film a music video for PS2's GT4. The production costs solely
for the video production amounted to more than ten million. In the
music video, Kelly acts as a car racer riding on a red racing car
dashing across the streets. However, as Kelly does not have a
driving licence, the director had to find a big trailer to pull the
racing car during the shoot. This scene had taken several hours to
complete because the car had to be cruise along the busy streets of
Tsim Sha Tsui and the area had attracted many curious onlookers.
Kelly
was very excited to be able to experience speeding on a car and had
felt that it was fun. The only thing hard for her was that during
the day of filming, the weather was cold but the suit that she was
wearing was not able to keep her warm. She was shivering when the
strong winds blew in from the car windows that had to be winded
down. The driving movements were even picked up from her chauffeur!
Kelly had expressed that she was honored to be the ambassador for
the Asia Game Show. Besides being able to pose as a stylish car
racer, she was happy to be able to participate in such a large scale
event and production. Looking at the completed video, she felt proud
and had a sense of accomplishment.

高 銷 量 的 賽 車 Game 「 GT 」 為 主 題 拍 了 一
個 超 型 MV 。該 MV 光 是 製 作 費 已 花 過 千 萬 。
在 MV 中 ， Kelly 扮 演 賽 車 手 ， 駕 著 紅 色 跑 車
在 街 道 上 飛 馳 。 但 由 於 Kelly 本 身 沒 有 車
牌 ， 所 以 在 拍 攝 期 間 ， 導 演 特 別 找 來 一
架 大 型 拖 車 ， 拉 著 Kelly 和 那 架 紅 色 跑 車
在 街 上 飛 馳 拍 攝 ； 光 是 這 鏡 頭 已 拍 了 多
個 小 時 ， 皆 因 Kelly 要 「 駕 」 著 這 架 車 穿
梭 高 速 公 路 及 尖 沙 咀 鬧 市 等 地 ， 拍 攝 期
間 更 引 來 一 眾 途 人 圍 觀 。

很 興 奮 ： 「 雖 然 我 沒 有 實 質 駕 駛 經 驗 ，
但 坐 在 跑 車 內 ， 被 拖 車 拖 著 ， 已 感 受 到
那 種 高 速 刺 激 感 ， 現 在 才 發 現 原 來 駕 駛
跑 車 是 這 麼 好 玩 的 。 唯 一 感 覺 辛 苦 的 便
是 在 拍 攝 當 日 天 氣 突 然 轉 涼 ， 而 我 所 穿
的 那 身 火 紅 戰 衣 並 不 保 暖 ， 但 我 還 要 坐
在 車 上 開 著 窗 任 由 大 風 吹 ， 真 是 凍 得 牙
關 打 震 呢 ！ 」 她 扮 演 駕 駛 的 動 作 原 來 是
從 每 天 乘 坐 的 保 母 車 司 機 身 上 學 到 的 呢
！ Kelly 表 示 很 榮 幸 能 夠 作 為 是 次 活 動 的
遊 戲 展 大 使 ， 除 了 是 因 為 有 機 會 扮 演 有
型 賽 車 手 外 ， 亦 開 心 能 參 與 這 樣 大 型 的
宣 傳 活 動 及 製 作 。 而 經 過 那 些 大 師 和 導
演 的 配 合 後 ， 從 MV 內 看 到 自 己 真 的 有 如
在 賽 車 一 樣 ， 極 有 自 豪 感 。

Fulfilling The Wishes Of Girl With Leukemia
Under
the assistance of the "Dreams Come True Foundation", a
teenage girl with leukemia had the chance to meet her idol, Kelly
Chen. The girl is presently 11 years old and when she was 2, she was
already diagnosed to have contracted leukemia. After a series of
chemotheraphy, she was fortunate to recover her health. All along,
she has the wish to join Kelly's fan club and to be a singer like
her idol when she grew up.
After
knowing about the girl, Kelly immediately agreed and had arranged to
meet her at the hotel despite being very busy in her work schedule.
Kelly had also prepared many of her items as gifts to her and the
girl was allowed to be a member of Kelly's fan club. Besides
chatting in the hotel room, the girl had the opportunity to sing
with Kelly. During that time, Kelly has encouraged her young fan to
treasure her life and complete her studies before becoming a singer.
This was not the first time that Kelly had taken part in events
organised by the "Dreams Come True Foundation". Earlier,
she had met a girl who was in the late stages of brain tumour and
fulfilled her last wishes.

Make Up From Ronald MacDonald
Yesterday
morning, Kelly was at the Peak to attend the McDonald's World
Children's Day event to raise donations from the sale of french
fries. After the event, Kelly had made a laugh that Ronald MacDonald
in HK is much thinner than the one in China who has a pot belly.
Also, Kelly intends to take lessons on make up with Ronald MacDonald
as she feels that he does it very well.
After
completing the event, Kelly went to Stanley to continue the shooting
for the TVB musical special. During then, she had revealed that she
will have a gathering with her fans this Christmas to watch her new
movie, Infernal Affairs III. A cinema will be booked for the
gathering but she does not intend to invite her boyfriend for the
event. Also, the presence of her boyfriend might spoil the mood of
the gathering. When asked if Kelly was afraid that her boyfriend
might see her kissing scene with Tony Leung in the movie, her reply
was that it was only a simple kiss and was acceptable.

男 fans 見 到 佢 反 胃 呀 。 」 問 Kelly 是 否 怕 男
友 Alex 看 到 其 接 吻 戲 份 時 呷 醋 ， 事 後 要 以
激 吻 作 補 償 時 ， 她 說 ： 「 唔 會 啦 ， 咁 戇

Cleaner Educating People On Aids
The
movie, for World's Aids Day, organised by the National Health
Department and directed jointly by Johnny To and Andy Lau is
completed and will be premiered on 27th November at Beijing Sports
Auditorium.
The
movie will be in the form of a musical drama to convey the awareness
of Aids and it has managed to get the support of many Hong Kong
stars as its casts. Among them are Sally Yeh appearing in a low cut
dress together with Anthony Wong to lead the guests in a dance.
Kelly has a role in the movie, acting as a toilet cleaner to correct
the misunderstandings people have on Aids.

Ambassador
For PS2's Car Racing Game
Kelly
will be the promotion ambassador for PS2's upcoming car-racing game.
As this game is on car-racing, Kelly had to appear in the image of a
car racer.
Although
Kelly does not have a driving licence, she was able to imitate the
moves of a real car racer well. She mentioned that she likes playing
car-racing games in her free time. The most difficult part in
filming the ad was that she needed to wear a 5 inch high heels. She
had difficulty moving around wearing the heels and needed her
assistants to help her back to her seat to rest after each take.
Why
did PS2 choose Kelly? The company had set up an online voting
earlier and Kelly emerged as the winner to be the new ambassador. As
Kelly also loves playing computer games, she immediately agreed.

早 前 曾 在 網 上 設 立 了 一 個 投 票 ， 看 誰 是
擔 任 這 宣 傳 大 使 的 最 佳 人 選 ， 結 果 由 Kelly
一 面 倒 勝 出 。 而 Kelly 亦 很 愛 打 遊 戲 機 ，

Musical Special In A Mansion
Kelly
and TVB actor Joe Ma were at a mansion in Stanley yesterday to shoot
a musical special. The story described Kelly, who is a writer,
saddened by the demise of her boyfriend. The publishing team came up
with the idea to find someone, who looked like her boyfriend, to woo
Kelly.
Having
the chance to be in a $60 million mansion, Kelly laughed that she
felt like Harry Potter. She was also asked if there were any
passionate scenes with Joe. Her reply was that during the second day
of the filming, they would have to hold hands and hug each other. As
for kissing scenes, they would be deemed necessary if the director
requests for them. In the video, there was supposed to be a scene to
show Kelly coming out from the bathtub that was as big as a swimming
pool. However, Kelly felt that it was unnecessary for her to be too
sexy in the musical special and the scene was replaced . Does she
long to have such a mansion? "Even if it was half-priced, it is
worthy" , she said. If the mansion is given to her free, she
laughed that she would be able to soak her feet in the bathtub.
As
for her co-star, Joe Ma, he had to film a scene where he was chased
onto the road by Kelly and was nearly knocked down by a car. It was
a close shave for Joe as he was really almost knocked down by the
car.

Rat
Scare During Awards Presentation

representatives, Jacky Cheung, Kelly Chen, Hacken Lee, Alan Tam and
Andy Hui, were together to attend the 3rd Annual Golden Melody
Awards Presentation held at Genting, Malaysia on Saturday night. The big winner for
the night was Jacky bagging a total of 4 awards and second to
him was Kelly who got 3 and a half awards.
During
the awards presentation, there was a rat scare. When the singers
were led to be seated, Alan Tam had suddenly shouted that he saw a
rat on the loose. At the same time, Kelly had also believed that she
had seen a rat and started screaming. Kelly is very much afraid of
snakes, crawlies and rats and so she decided to get away from her
seat for the time being. Kelly had later returned to her seat only
when the organisers had claimed that they had caught the rodent.
Although Kelly had a scare during the event, she was happy to be
able to receive the Best Female Vocalist Award from Jacky Cheung.
This had proven that her efforts spent on her singing are recognised.

馬 雲 頂 雲 星 劇 場 舉 行 的 《 第 3 屆 金 曲 紅
人 頒 獎 禮 》 ， 學 友 共 獲 得 4 獎 ， 陳 慧 琳
也 同 樣 獲 4 獎 ， 雖 然 攞 獎 高 興 ， 不 過 現
場 卻 發 生 小 插 曲 ， Kelly 被 一 隻 老 鼠 嚇 得
花 容 失 色 ， 幸 未 有 影 響 演 出 水 準 。
原 本 大 家 攞 獎 非 常
開 心 ， 一 眾 歌 手 被 大 會 安 排 在 台 前 欣 賞
整 個 頒 獎 過 程 ， 不 過 大 家 排 排 坐 之 後 ，
阿 倫 突 然 說 ﹕ 「 嘩 ﹗ 有 老 鼠 呀 ﹗ 」 Kelly
那 一 剎 也 感 覺 到 有 老 鼠 閃 過 影 蹤 ， 故 驚
叫 起 來 ， 一 時 場 面 十 分 混 亂 。 Kelly 最 怕
蛇 蟲 鼠 蟻 ， 為 免 自 己 失 控 ， 唯 有 離 開 座
位 避 老 鼠 ， 及 至 大 會 表 示 已 清 理 好 ， 她
也 心 驚 驚 地 硬 住 頭 皮 再 坐 ， 幸 好 到 完 場
未 再 有 鼠 蹤 。 雖 被 嚇 一 跳 ， 但 Kelly 表 示
她 今 次 最 開 心 是 在 張 學 友 手 中 領 過 「 最
佳 演 繹 女 歌 手 」 獎 項 ， 因 為 近 年 自 己 都
專 心 在 唱 歌 方 面 下 苦 功 。

Confused

Mui's concert held on the previous night had invited her good
friends Andy Lau, Kelly Chen, Alan Tam and George Lam as special
guests.
Kelly
had dressed up as a man with moustache and had presented Anita with
a bunch of flowers. However, when both of them were singing, Anita
gave Kelly a sudden kiss on the lips and Kelly was confused and
forgot her lines that she was supposed to say.

以 女 扮 男 裝 兼 黐 上
鬍 子 的 陳 慧 琳 ， 出 場 時 變 束 花 給 阿 梅 ，
她 自 稱 是 迷 盡 天 下 少 女 心 的 陳 公 爵 ， 與
阿 梅 打 情 罵 俏 。 不 過 當 阿 梅 與 Kelly 合 唱
時 ， 投 入 地 當 了 Kelly 是 情 人 ， 咀 了 一 啖
， Kelly 即 時 方 寸 大 亂 ， 未 意 識 到 被 「 突
襲 」 。 事 後 Kelly 接 受 訪 問 時 表 示 當 時 心
慌 意 亂 ， 所 以 本 來 打 算 說 的 對 白 也 忘 記
了 。

The Rest In Her Retro Look

Radio's Vani Night Club held on Friday night had Kelly and Candy Lo
as contestants for the mini beauty pageant held in the show. One of
the hosts, Hacken Lee, had tailored a suit costing about $700. On
the other hand, Kelly's retro look from label Marc Jacobs had cost
her over $10 000.
Both
Kelly and Candy tried to outwit each other on stage. Kelly had made
comical gestures to attract Hacken and had managed to get the
limelight during the group photo. However, with Hu Fung's sudden
appearance, the 3 younger singers had to step aside.
The
reporters had later asked Kelly if she would also act pampered in
front of her boyfriend. "Of course not. This would scare
him", she said. Kelly was further asked if she had dreamt to
take part in beauty pageants when she was young. Her answer was that
she was a fat and ugly girl last time and therefore had not thought
about taking part in such contests. Kelly will be attending Anita
Mui's concert as special guest and will sing a song with her as well
as a solo singing Anita's song.

位 」 搶 鏡 。 可 惜 Kelly 的 出 位 動 作 不 敵 當
年 的 英 俊 小 生 — — 胡 楓 。 胡 楓 出 現 時 即
成 為 眾 人 焦 點 ， 三 位 歌 手 對 着 老 薑 修 哥
要 甘 拜 下 風 了 ， 被 他 搶 盡 風 頭 也 心 服 口
服 。

友 相 處 ， 是 否 一 樣 嬌 嗲 ﹖ 她 笑 說 若 果 這

時 候 有 否 參 加 港 姐 的 夢 想 ﹖ Kelly 稱 以 前
是 一 名 醜 怪 的 肥 妹 仔 ， 故 未 想 過 參 選 港
姐 。 不 過 她 小 時 候 與 朋 友 玩 選 美 遊 戲 時
， 已 贏 盡 了 環 球 小 姐 與 世 界 小 姐 。 Kelly
將 會 為 阿 梅 的 演 唱 會 擔 任 嘉 賓 ， 她 表 示
除 會 與 梅 姐 合 唱 《 蔓 珠 莎 華 》 外 ， 她 又
想 唱 《 心 債 》 。

Kelly's
Design For "My Stamp"
Kelly
was earlier entasked to be the Philatelic Ambassador for Hong Kong
Post, and she will release a limited edition souvenir cover next
year for 2004 Stamp Expo. The package will include two versions of
"My Stamp" designed personally by Kelly and a CD single
featuring the theme song for the event.
The
two stamps designed by Kelly include her favorite picture in her
album "Love" and another her cartoon character. The
initial design by Kelly was that the background should represent HK
and she had chose the business district of Central.

自 設 計 兩 款 「 我 的 郵 票 」 、 紀 念 封 及 收
錄 全 球 第 一 首 郵 票 博 覽 會 而 創 作 主 題 曲

Kelly 設 計 的 「 我 的 郵 票 」 ， 分 別 是 她 專
輯 「 愛 」 中 最 喜 愛 的 造 型 照 及 配 合 大 會
主 題 「 旅 遊 」 而 設 計 ， 還 邀 請 漫 畫 家 義
務 繪 畫 卡 通 版 Kelly 遊 覽 維 港 構 圖 。 最 初
構 思 Kelly 認 為 背 景 必 須 能 夠 代 表 香 港 ，
故 選 擇 香 港 商 業 樞 紐 中 環 ， 當 中 少 不 了
國 際 金 融 中 心 。

Who
Should She Save?
After
her clarification on the recent report that she had relationship
problems with her boyfriend, Kelly was asked by the audience during
Friday night's TVB JSG recording on who should she save if her
manager, father and boyfriend had fallen into the sea. Kelly made
the decision to save her father first because her manager is a
swimming expert and Kelly could get her to save her boyfriend
instead!
