Production Cost For Concert
Kelly
held her concert in Shanghai last Saturday singing to a
fully-seated audience. The performing guest for the
concert was Li Quan who later sang a duet "Not
Enough To Love You" with Kelly.
The
stage for the Shanghai concert was set at 3 sided and
the organisers had used the concept from the original HK
concert, together with newly designed palace styled back
drops, crystal lamps and broadway curtains. Even the
gold horse carriage was refitted with movable wheels to
make it more realistic.
To
give the audience a fresher experience, Kelly had
included two new sets of concert costumes. As the
concert production cost is extremely high, over a
hundred security guards were needed and the organisers
had also bought high insurance.

資 數 百 萬 元 訂 造 水 晶 吊 燈 、 百 老
匯 式 紅 幕 布 及 華 麗 長 梯 。 而 價 值
數 千 萬 元 的 黃 金 馬 車 ， 也 改 裝 了
可 活 動 的 車 輪 ， 令 馬 車 更 添 實 感
。
Kelly 為 給 上 海
觀 眾 帶 來 新 鮮 感 ， 特 別 加 造 兩 條
新 裙 ， 再 配 合 逾 千 萬 元 的 珠 寶 首
飾 ， 金 光 閃 閃 。 由 於 演 唱 會 的 製
作 費 相 當 昂 貴 ， 現 場 安 排 了 過 百
位 保 安 駐 守 ， 主 辦 單 位 還 買 了 天
價 保 險 。

Concert
In Shanghai
Kelly
will hold her concert in Shanghai on Saturday. She was
in Shanghai recently for some promotion work and had
done recordings for several television programmes. In
one of them, she was asked on how she will react if fans
were to rush up and hug her during the concert. She
laughed that it will not be good if they are male fans
unless if they are kids. However, she welcomed female
fans to do so.
During
one of the game segments for the television programme,
Kelly was requested to put on diving goggles and proceed
to the side of the stage to rearrange the facial
features of the cardboard dummy. However, Kelly got
carried away with the game and nearly slipped when she
rushed forward. Fortunately, the host managed to grab
hold of her preventing her from falling down.
Tomorrow,
she will be in Shanghai for the concert rehearsal. The
horse carriage used in the HK concert has also been
transported there. For security reasons, the organisers
had engaged 24 hours surveillance to look after the
horse carriage.

生 的 話 就 不 好 了 ， 除 非 他 是 小 孩
吧 ， 如 果 是 女 歌 迷 就 無 任 歡 迎 。
」

一 個 遊 戲 環 節 時 ， Kelly 應 要 求 戴
上 潛 水 墨 鏡 ， 再 走 到 台 側 替 紙 板
公 仔 重 組 眼 耳 口 鼻 ， 然 而 Kelly 一
於 勇 字 當 頭 ， 只 顧 一 直 往 前 衝 ，
差 點 兒 當 眾 仆 倒 ， 嚇 得 主 持 馬 上
走 上 前 扶 她 一 把 ， 場 面 十 分 搞 笑
。
至 於 明 天 ，
Kelly 將 於 上 海 為 個 唱 作 綵 排 ， 在
香 港 演 唱 會 出 現 過 的 金 馬 車 亦 已
運 抵 當 地 ， 為 了 保 安 問 題 ， 大 會
不 惜 聘 請 多 名 保 安 廿 四 小 時 看 管
。

In Summer
Kelly
was present at the Typhoon Naming contest held
yesterday. The winning names were "Taichi" and
"Kapok". Being one of the judges, Kelly had
felt that the name "Taichi" is suitable for
the typhoon's name as taichi strokes resemble whirlwind.
As to why she would not name the Typhoon as
"Kelly", she laughed that she would not want
to be shunned by people. Typhoons are very strong and
could possibly take lives. Therefore, she would
definitely think twice to use her own name. As to the
numerous entries for the contest, there were many
comical and strange names like "Char Siew
Bun", "Prawn Dumpling" and "Egg
Tart". Kelly has a liking for one of the reserved
names of "Yuan Yang" and has said that it was
most important that none of the nicknames are made as
personal attacks.
Kelly
will begin her concert tour in Mainland China this
Saturday and currently she is feeling extremely excited.
She has expected that there would be around 10 shows for
her tour in Mainland China. However, as the weather is
hot in July, she would take a break. During her earlier
concert in Malaysia, one of the concert crew had fainted
due to the heat. To prevent such things from happening
again, she has decided that the break was necessary and
would continue her tour in Autumn. Kelly had pointed out
that the venue for the concerts in China will be mainly
outdoors. It is extremely tiring for the dancers when
they had to dress up like rabbits and mice. Wearing
suits, gloves and boots was also very hot for herself.
As such, there would be some amendments made to her
stage costumes.

Kelly 」 來 命 名 ？ 她 笑 言 無 謂 被 人
趕 走 ， 事 緣 颱 風 威 力 勁 ， 分 分 鐘
會 害 死 人 ， 故 一 定 不 會 想 到 用 自
己 名 字 來 命 名 。 說 到 二 萬 多 個 參
選 名 稱 ， 不 乏 有 趣 怪 的 名 字 ， 好
像 叉 燒 飽 、 蝦 餃 、 蛋 撻 等 ， Kelly
對 後 備 名 字 「 鴛 鴦 」 亦 甚 喜 歡 ，
指 出 命 名 最 緊 要 不 可 以 人 身 攻 擊
。

本 周 六 到 上 海 展 開 首 站 巡 迴 演 唱
， 至 今 已 感 到 緊 張 ， 她 預 計 在 內
地 約 有 十 場 演 出 ， 但 因 七 月
份 天 氣 酷 熱 ， 屆 時 她 會 稍
作 休 息 。 猶 記 得 上 次 到 大 馬 演 出
， 有 舞 蹈 員 熱 到 暈 ， 為 免 重 蹈 覆
轍 ， 所 以 就 寧 願 先 休 息 ， 待 秋 季
再 繼 續 巡 迴 演 出 。 Kelly 指 出 ， 內
地 巡 迴 演 唱 多 在 戶 外 舉 行 ， 舞 蹈
員 扮兔 、 扮 老 鼠 好 辛 苦 ， 而 她 要
穿 著 大 衣 、 手 套 、 長 靴 ， 一 樣 很
焗 ， 故 到 時 在 服 裝 上 也 要 稍 作 改
動 。

Disappointed
Being Unable To Meet Lee Young Ae
Dae
Jang Geum female star, Lee Young Ae, had recently
arrived in HK for promotion but Kelly was unable to meet
her due to her busy work schedule. To this, Kelly was
extremely disappointed. During yesterday's song
recording for "8858", the China Children
Charity Fund Raising song, Kelly expressed that she did
not have a chance to see pretty star Lee. If Lee's
promotion schedule in HK was announced earlier, she
would have devoted time to meet her. Kelly added that
she had seen two of Lee's movies and she felt that Lee
is prettier than herself. Besides having good qualities,
she is a skilful actress.

訪 港 ， 陳 慧 琳 卻 因 工 作 早 已 排 得
密 密 麻 麻 ， 無 緣 與 對 方 見 面 而 感
到 非 常 失 望 。 昨 日 她 為 內 地 群 星
合 唱 《 8858 》 錄 音 時 說 ﹕ 「 沒 有 機
會 見 靚 女 ， 我 和 我 的 朋 友 都 非 常
失 望 ﹗ 如 果 她 早 點 宣 布 來 港 就 好
了 ﹗ 」 陳 慧 琳 表 示 曾 看 過 李 英 愛
主 演 的 電 影 《 春 逝 》 及 《 JAS 安 全
地 帶 》 ， 覺 得 對 方 比 自 己 漂 亮 ，
有 氣 質 之 餘 ， 演 技 亦 很 有 深 度 ，
是 個 很 有 實 力 的 演 員 。 另 外 她 表
示 將 於 月 尾 開 始 的 內 地 巡 迴 個 唱
， 首 場 上 海 站 的 酬 勞 將 全 數 捐 出
幫 助 內 地 兒 童 。

Puppet
For Freedom
As
the spokesperson for Head & Shoulders Shampoo for
both Hong Kong and Taiwan, Kelly had recently filmed the
music video for "Free", the theme song of the
ad. Stylist Yee Chung Man had also specially created a
clown puppet image for the video.
The
song describes that there are many things that trouble
people in their lives. The clown puppet image represents
the constraints by people and that it has to fight to
gain freedom. This was the first time that Kelly had
tried out an exaggerated clown look and she had a 2 week
discussion with the stylist, looking through image
concepts from abroad. The final effect was special.
The
process to create the puppet clown look was difficult.
Firstly, Kelly had to apply white powder to cover her
entire face followed by eye shadows and eye line. When
the make-up was unsatisfactory, it was wiped off and
redone. The time taken to complete the make up took 2
hours. Finally, they decided to use a new method of
applying the makeup by airbrush as it will make the
makeup to be more even. However, during the makeup
process, Kelly suddenly shouted to pause for a break
because she did not dare to breathe for fear of inhaling
in the powder.

發 揮 ﹔ 木 偶 小 丑 造 型 則 代 表 受 到
牽 制 ， 事 事 被 人 操 控 ， 於 MV 中 爭
取 享 受 自 由 。 Kelly 首 次 嘗 試 小 丑
的 誇 張 造 型 ， 事 前 與 奚 仲 文 研 究
達 兩 星 期 ， 又 參 考 外 國 造 型 ， 出
來 效 果 特 別 又 得 意 。
花 兩 小 時 化
妝
原 來 造 型 化
妝 過 程 頗 困 難 ， 先 要 在 Kelly 臉 上
塗 上 全 白 色 的 粉 底 ， 再 於 上 面 塗
眼 影 及 眼 線 ， 效 果 未 如 理 想 便 要
抹 去 再 做 過 ， 單 是 化 妝 便 用 了 兩
小 時 ﹔ 最 後 化 妝 師 用 新 方 法 ， 就
是 用 air brush 於 Kelly 臉 噴 上 粉 底 ， 這
樣 會 較 均 勻 。 不 過 當 化 妝 師 噴 上
粉 底 時 ， Kelly 突 然 叫 停 ， 原 來 她
一 直 不 敢 吸 氣 ， 怕 吸 入 粉 底 ， 所
以 叫 停 來 呼 吸 一 下 ， 甚 為 搞 笑 。

Concert
Proceedings Donated For School
Kelly
was in Shanghai yesterday afternoon to promote her first
concert in Mainland China. There will be major changes
to the concert as the songs for the run-down will mainly
be in Mandarin. She had also announced that the
proceedings for the concert will be donated to cover the
cost of setting up the fourth school under her name.
This time, the school was chosen to be situated in
Yunnan.
This
concert will be no exception from the ones in HK where
it will be sponsored again by 3-d Gold. The sponsors
have given her a new horse carriage, pair of earrings
and necklace costing over a million dollars. After her
stopover at Shanghai for her concert tour, she will
continue to Harbin, Wuhan and Nanjing. There will also
be two new dresses added with more fast songs and
dances. Kelly had earlier requested for suggestions from
the local media and fans for the songs to be sung.
However, Kelly has quite a large number of Mandarin
songs and deciding on which ones was not easy.

Proposing
To Her Boyfriend
Kelly
had recently expressed that she would immediately agree
to get married once her boyfriend proposes to her.
Yesterday, during the press conference held in Taiwan
for Head & Shoulders Shampoo, Kelly was asked if her
boyfriend had taken any action? She laughed that he has
yet to respond and she has instead planned to make her
first move when she reaches 38. Being with her boyfriend
for more than 10 years, she would definitely agree to
his proposal. However, the time to get married will be 4
years later. During this time together, Kelly refrains
from other male suitors. She has yet to hear any
marriage requests from her boyfriend and it is improper
for girls to ask instead. As Kelly had already made her
plan to be a mother before 40, she will patiently wait
for her boyfriend until 38 when she will put down her
pride and propose to him.

Time For Marriage
Kelly's
song "Hope" was one of the top 3 songs for the
2005 TVB Jade Solid Gold first round selections. The TV
station had arranged the singers of the top 3 songs to
spray water on an elevated platform. Kelly was initially
in a dress sponsored by Dior but had later changed into
another top with pants for the water spraying segment.
Kelly
had claimed that she is fortunate to have a good song
this year. "Hope" will have a Mandarin version
but the official release date is yet to be confirmed. As
to the expensive dress looking unsuitable for her, Kelly
replied that it was the design but she felt that it is
very pretty being the latest for the season.
A
recent magazine had reported that Kelly's parents had
wanted her to get married as soon as possible. However,
she had denied the report and added that her boyfriend
had yet to propose to her. If he does, she will
definitely made known to everyone. The 214 roses that
she had received from her boyfriend was not a marriage
proposal as the time was not ripe. They had already made
plans and Kelly would agree once her boyfriend proposes.
Would her boyfriend gets action after he read the news?
She replied that it will not be at this time or within
these two years. However, Kelly is certain that she
would be able to be a mother before 40.

否 已 與 同 男 友 有 了 共 識 ？ ） 我 自
己 已 經 有 了 計 劃 。 （ 是 否 等 男 友
