World Animated
RTHK
international programme World Animated will invite various
celebrities to host and Kelly was selected for the first episode.
The
programme will be broadcast on 1st June. Kelly who has a degree in
design also shows interests in animation. She will introduce various
exciting animation works in fluent English to the audience including
Routine from Holland (an animation created from easily obtained
objects) and My Fantasia from Hong Kong in which the writer uses
Disney's music together with daily necessities to create.

港台國際動畫特輯《10分動畫》（World
Animated），邀請多位演藝人士任嘉賓主持，推廣動畫創作。陳慧琳（Kelly）日前任頭炮嘉賓主持並展開拍攝。
《10分動畫》將於6月1日首播，曾修讀設計的Kelly對動畫甚有興趣，這次以流利的英語為觀眾介紹精采動畫作品，包括「Routine」（荷蘭）—利用順手拈來的物件作動畫，呈現每天日常生活的程序和細節；「My
Fantasia」（香港）—作者利用迪士尼動畫音樂《幻想曲》，配合日常生活用品，創造一個音樂動畫劇，同時向這些生活用品致敬。

Clarification
On Magazine Report
Due
to the change in location for Park Yong Ha's music video shoot,
Kelly had set off for Korea on Monday. Both Park Yong Ha and his
management are and had provided warm hospitality for her stay in
Korea.
The
reporters had called on Kelly's manager, Miss Chung, regarding a
magazine reporting that Kelly threw her tantrum on the 1:99 concert
for being paired up with Aaron Kwok who is believed to be declining
in popularity. The report further stated that she was angry with
Sammi Cheng for being able to sing with Andy Lau. Miss Chung took
the article just as a joke and it is meaningless to answer to such
reports. Ever singer had put in their effort in the show and should
not affect each other's relationship with such reports. Kelly are
friends with both Aaron and Sammi. Sammi's manager had even called
up Miss Chung about this. Her reply was just to answer truthfully.
Anita
Mui's manager had also said that Kelly was not angry and did not
throw any tantrum during the concert. When she went backstage, she
had only mentioned that there was no sound coming from her headset.
After that, she resumed the dance segment with Aaron. Kelly's
efforts should not be diminished because of the report. Gigi Leung,
who was another performer in the show, had also backed Kelly up. She
does not believe on the report.

Service In China Suspended
The recent sms
service in China had caused some trouble to Kelly in that a report
had stated that a number of fans in China had thought that the
disclosed number was Kelly's mobile phone. They then irregardlessly
send many messages to the number. At the end of the month, they
received a huge bill and then only knew that the service was not
free. Some fans had even consulted the police for help. The local
media had also made talking point about this matter.
Kelly is presently
in Korea and had handed this to be dealt by her manager. Stareastnet
had made an open announcement to clarify the connection between the
sms service line and Kelly's personal mobile phone number. They had
also made an apology to the fans for the misunderstanding and will
refund the fees that were charged. They later made full detail of
the charging scheme.
A
spokesperson for
Stareastnet said that it was their fault for not stating clearly on
the charging scheme during the press conference. They will now open
a enquiry hotline to answer fans' doubts. Fortunately, the number of
complaints received were not many and only eighteen fans requested
for refunds. For the inconvenience brought to Kelly from negative
news by the press, Stareastnet they were deeply apologetic and had
stressed that Kelly is not a shareholder of their company. The sms
service is temporarily suspended. The resumption date will be made
known later.

陳慧琳無端端做罪人
最近有報道指陳慧琳（Kelly）於內地出席東魅網短訊服務記者會時，公開了一個電話號碼讓歌迷發送短訊，不料大批內地歌迷誤會該號碼便是Kelly的手提電話號碼，狂發短訊，直至收到月結單後，才知道要繳出昂貴的費用，有些歌迷報警求助，內地傳媒將矛頭直指Kelly，令她在內地的發展備受考驗。
Kelly現時身在韓國工作，此事將全權交由經理人處理。東魅方面對此事發出通告，就記者會上未能清楚說明Kelly手機號碼及短訊號碼的關係，令消費者產生不必要的誤會致歉，並退還有關短訊的費用，更列明手機短訊服務的收費標準。
東魅發言人承認沒有在記者會上強調收費問題，他們會增設一條熱線，讓歌迷查詢有關資料，不過，至今收到的投訴不算多，只有十八人要求退款。對於這次事件令外界對Kelly產生誤會及負面報道致歉，並強調Kelly並非東魅的股東，目前亦暫停了短訊服務，何時重開則有待公布。

Social Work
Yesterday morning,
Kelly had engaged in social work with a group of 50 social workers
at Tuen Mun to paint metal bars and clean up the hostels. Kelly gave
a remark that there was so much to do but she was embarrassed by the
charity organisation's director that she did not have to do them.
Kelly had expressed
that she likes painting and had helped to paint a wall in one of the
train stations in Japan. Kelly was not seen wearing a face mask
because after the announcement of the removal of Hong Kong from the
traveling alert list, she had also relaxed on precautionary
measures. Wearing a mask around was also inconvenient. In the later
event, Kelly represented the Community Chest to receive a three
hundred thousand dollar cheque donation.
One of the
newspapers had reported that Kelly threw her tantrum at backstage
during the 1:99 concert. Kelly explained that her headset was not
working for six minutes. She had to dance and did not know how to
notify the technicians. It had somewhat affected her mood in the
performance. She had spent a week on the rehearsal and expected that
the outcome will be good. The matter had already passed and she will
take it as an experience.

Concert Rehearsal
For today's 1:99
Concert, Kelly will sing a duet and perform a dance session with
Aaron Kwok. Both of them are versatile in dances and had took the
rehearsal session held yesterday seriously. The dance will also
include movements with close body contact.
Kelly is one of
those who are affected by SARS. Her invitation for a Korean star to
come over to Hong Kong for the music video shooting had to be
aborted. The filming location had to be changed to Korea instead.
She has planned to set off for Korea within these few days. On HK
being able to be removed from the WHO traveling alert list, it was
definitely a good news for her.

城城在今日舉行的「1：99音樂會」上，會跟陳慧琳（Kelly）合唱及互相伴舞，兩人同是舞功了得之人，昨日雖是綵排，但他們一點也不馬虎，猶如在比試舞功，而舞步當中，亦不乏貼身動作。
Kelly亦是受到沙士影響的一群，她原定請韓國紅星朴勇河來港拍攝MV，但因為沙士問題要轉到韓國拍攝，她預算日內起程，所以對於世衞撤銷旅遊警告，Kelly認為是一件很開心的事。

With A Refrigerator
The
recent air-conditioner ad which Kelly did for Samsung was well
received and as such, Kelly was given a mini portable refrigerator
as a reward for her work. The compact unit is specially designed to
store cosmetics and was therefore so small in size. Upon receipt,
Kelly was extremely delighted and liked it very much. She added that
it is a must have item for traveling because she would be able to
store her face mask and fruit juices.

By Report
Kelly
and Hacken were in RTHK station for the recording of a new radio
drama serial. In the serial, Hacken is a doctor who has
unfortunately contracted SARS while attending to a patient. Kelly
plays a nurse who had to take care of Hacken and later fell in love
with him.
In
a recent report from a newspaper, TVB had planned to stage a charity
show at Amoy Gardens and that Kelly and Hacken had both refused to
participate in the event as the place was once infested with SARS
carriers. Kelly was extremely agitated to the reports and mentioned
that it was stupid. She had added that she had already agreed to be
present for the show and she will even be the team leader. Kelly
pities the residents of Amoy Gardens and said that people should not
despise them. This is a time to be united and should not have any
negative news to separate everyone. There is no place that Kelly
will not dare to go.

Imitating
Alan Tam
On
Sunday night's Jade Solid Gold show recording, Kelly had to imitate
Alan Tam and sing with Hacken. Kelly had commended that this new
segment is much better compared to the one last time which singers
have to sing on a thread mill.
Kelly
laughed that the clothes that she was wearing an old suit of
clothes. She had initially wanted to dress up in a similar style of
shirt that Alan wears. However, the shirt was too loose and made her
look fat. She had to drop this horrifying look and used some of her
old clothes instead. Kelly would rather have the imitation segment
because she could have a chance to sing a song properly. Who else
does she want to imitate? She will consider later as making a choice
will be difficult now. As long as the audience loves to see it, she
will not mind.
Hacken
had also given praises to the show and mentioned that Kelly made
great attempts to search for clothes and a hat for the
segment.

Supportive
Of Anti-SARS Concert
Kelly
had represented the Artistes Association to go on stage to receive a
cheque donation of five hundred thousand dollars by Brands
yesterday. She was dressed prettily in a singlet and with small
plaits on her hair. Kelly had mentioned that she had got early prior
notice to receive the donation and she had to request TVB to
accommodate a special time for her for the Jade Solid Gold show
recording later that day. After the press conference, she had rushed
off to the television studio.
Kelly
felt excited when she heard rumors that Sam Hui may also make a
special appearance in the concert. She added that everyone in show
biz should be supportive of the event. The people in Hong Kong are
kind-hearted and should stand united to fight against SARS.
Yesterday
was also Mother's Day, but if Kelly needed to work, would she be
unable to spend the time with her mother? Kelly had early
celebrations and had a meal with her mother on Saturday. She had
given her a doll bought from America as well as a beautiful dress.
慧琳籲支持抗炎音樂會
陳慧琳昨日代表演藝人協會上台領取「白蘭氏健康教育基金會」捐贈的五十萬元大支票。她昨日打扮得很漂亮，穿小背心加小辮子，充滿夏日氣息。她表示一早已接到通知，由她代表領取支票，所以原定到「無線」為《勁歌》錄影，也特別要求「無線」遷就抽空到場，記者會完畢後便要趕回去錄影。
說到有傳許冠傑也會為二十四日舉行的音樂會演唱，慧琳聞言立即開心地叫好。她說，演藝界的朋友好應該支持是次活動，香港人心地好，應該團結一致抗炎，所以希望大家踴躍支持。
另外，昨日是母親節，慧琳工作不斷豈非沒有時間與母親慶祝？她表示早有安排，前一天已與母親吃飯慶祝了，並且送了一個在美國購買的公仔，以及一套靚衫給母親。

Donation Event
Kelly,
together with Hacken Lee and Alan Tam, had attended the event held
yesterday afternoon where IFPI made a donation of two hundred
thousand to help the families affected by SARS. Kelly was dressed in
full pink and said that her dressing was for brightening up the
gloomy situation in Hong Kong. Earlier, her Children's Charity Fund
had given out face masks to the public as well as raising donations
for a kid whose mother had died of SARS.
Even
before the shooting for Infernal Affairs III had started, there were
many rumors on the casts being unhappy with each other. One of the
rumors had said that Sammi Cheng was unhappy and decided not to be
in the sequel because the movie concentrated too much on the male
stars and also that Kelly was in it. Kelly replied that it was
normal for female stars to have less appearances because the script
was meant to focus on the male actors. As to whether she had a raise
for this movie, she claimed that there was definitely one compared
to the red packet received during part 1 of the movie. She will get
a normal movie pay this time.

Charity
Event To Help SARS Victims
The
Artistes Association, together with Mingpao, has decided to raise
funds to help the families affected by SARS. As of yesterday, the
fund amounted to nine hundred thousand.
Kelly
was among the artistes who had put in large effort for the fund
raising. Besides donating, she had also agreed to attend the 1:99
concert on 24th May and lead her fans to take part in the charity event.
When
interviewed by Mingpao, Kelly had expressed that she fully supported
the event. As her own effort was limited, she had also urged her
family members, friends and fans to make donations. She had also
praised her fans for being charitable people and would also support
and meaningful charity events. She has hoped that they would be able
to bring in more donations to help the SARS patients.
Kelly
was concerned with the school children who have to face major
problems in their family or had even lost their parents because of
SARS. This event served to bring confidence to them and inform them
that they are still being cared by people. What happens if one of
her fans was a victim? Kelly would not mind meeting him if she is
able to find time. More important was that she would be able to
bring back confidence to the person.
Under
the lead of Cantopop queen, Anita Mui, other artistes like Eason
Chan, Leon Lai and Jacky Cheung have also agreed to help out in the
event.

「 香 港 演 藝 人 協 會
」 與 《 明 報 》 合 辦 的 「 茁 壯 行 動 」 ， 幫
助 受 SARS 影 響 的 家 庭 ， 包 括 病 患 者 或 病 逝
子 女 的 教 育 經 費 。 截 至 昨 日 下 午 ， 「 茁
壯 行 動 」 的 善 款 已 超 過 90 萬 元 。
連 日 來 藝 人 呼 籲 支 持 「 茁 壯 行 動 」 的 捐
款 善 行 ， 陳 慧 琳 更 出 錢 又 出 力 ， 捐 款 支
持 「 茁 壯 行 動 」 外 ， 她 又 答 應 參 加 本 月
二 十 四 日 在 香 港 大 球 賽 舉 行 的 《 1:99 音 樂
會 》 演 出 。 Kelly （ 陳 慧 琳 ） 身 體 力 行 ，
好 人 做 好 事 ， 帶 領 Fans 參 與 善 舉 。
讓 受 害 家 庭 知 人 間 有 情
昨 日 陳 慧 琳 接 受 本 報 訪 問 ， 她 對 「 茁 壯
行 動 」 表 示 鼎 力 支 持 。 Kelly 已 答 應 參 加
《 1:99 音 樂 會 》 演 出 ， 她 亦 會 捐 款 給 「 茁
壯 行 動 」 。 Kelly 稱 個 人 力 量 有 限 ， 所 以
她 會 發 動 家 人 、 朋 友 與 Fans 也 捐 款 。 Kelly
稱 她 的 Fans 一 向 有 善 心 ， 只 要 活 動 有 意 義
， 也 會 全 面 支 持 。 她 希 望 「 茁 壯 行 動 」
籌 得 更 多 善 款 幫 助 受 SARS 影 響 的 家 庭 。
KellY 關 心 遭 遇 突 變 的 破 碎 家 庭 ， 特 別 是
一 些 學 生 ， 面 對 家 庭 的 轉 變 ， 甚 至 失 去
家 人 。
她 稱 「 茁 壯 行 動 」 是 給 他 們 的 定 心 丸 ，
讓 他 們 知 道 人 間 有 情 ， 將 來 還 是 要 靠 自
己 開 拓 。 問 Kelly 要 是 她 的 Fans 是 這 班 不 幸
的 學 童 其 中 一 個 ， 可 否 獲 她 親 自 的 鼓 勵
﹖ 她 表 示 若 果 自 己 有 時 間 ， 絕 對 不 介 意
跟 Fans 見 面 ， 最 重 要 是 她 能 幫 助 對 方 回 復
自 信 。
「 演 藝 人 協 會 」 將 於 本 月 二 十 四 日 在 香
港 大 球 場 舉 行 《 1:99 音 樂 會 》 ， 無 線 也 會
參 與 這 個 4 小 時 音 樂 會 的 製 作 。 所 得 善
款 會 撥 捐 「 茁 壯 行 動 」 。 由 演 藝 人 協 會
會 長 梅 艷 芳 呼 籲 ， 參 與 歌 手 亦 一 呼 百 應
。 陳 慧 琳 答 應 演 出 外 ， 還 有 陳 奕 迅 、 黎
明 與 張 學 友 等 。

Samsung
Air-conditioner Ad
 
Kelly
was in Korea to shoot the new ad for Samsung's air-conditioner. To
complement the story in the ad, two backgrounds were set for the
filming. One of them is Alice's Wonderland and the other in a modern
house.
Kelly
has a trait for being afraid of cold weathers but this time she had
to promote the air-conditioner. The company's staff was very
understanding and had placed heaters in the room during the filming
process. One of the staff had also brought his daughter to the
filming area and when she saw Kelly, she stuck closely to Kelly and
held her hands. The young girl had even acted as Kelly's Korean
teacher.
Victor,
who is in Taiwan, had initially planned to return to Hong Kong to
rest and spend his birthday. His plans had to be aborted due to the
Taiwan's ruling and he decided not to do so at the moment. Kelly's
planned trip to Taiwan had also included a visit to his brother. Her
schedule had to be cancelled too. Although Victor would have to
spend a lonely birthday in Taiwan, Kelly had already bought a
birthday gift for him. It is a batch of new clothes bought specially
for his promotion work in Taiwan. The filming crew of the drama
serial will also host a birthday party for him.

機 廣 告 ， 早 前 專 程 到 南 韓 拍 攝 ， 配 合 廣
告 故 事 內 容 ， 先 後 安 排 了 兩 個 不 同 主 題
的 佈 景 ， 分 別 是 愛 麗 斯 夢 遊 仙 境 的 飄 逸
和 摩 登 家 庭 背 景 ， 投 資 巨 大 。
陳 司 翰 生 日 台 孤 單 度
過
Kelly 一 向 怕 凍 ， 她 卻 要 宣 傳 冷 氣 機 的 冰
涼 感 覺 ， 而 為 製 造 飄 逸 感 少 不 免 有 吹 風
的 鏡 頭 ， 廣 告 商 很 體 貼 Kelly ， 在 廠 內 不
同 位 置 安 排 了 暖 爐 。 拍 攝 期 間 有 客 戶 帶
同 小 女 兒 探 班 ， Kelly 有 小 朋 友 緣 ， 小 妹
妹 拖 着 她 的 手 不 放 ， 更 充 當 小 老 師 教 她
講 韓 文 。
此 外 ， 陳 司 翰 在 台 灣
拍 劇 集 《 又 見 橘 花 香 》 4 個 多 月 ， 原 本
計 劃 返 港 休 息 再 到 台 灣 宣 傳 。 不 過 因 SARS
影 響 台 灣 實 施 隔 離 政 策 ， 陳 司 翰 暫 未 能
返 港 ， Kelly 原 本 計 劃 赴 台 工 作 並 順 道 探
望 弟 弟 ， 可 惜 台 灣 之 行 要 取 消 。 5 月 8 日
是 他 的 生 日 ， 只 好 孤 單 地 在 台 灣 度 過 。
Kelly 唯 有 速 遞 生 日 禮 物 給 弟 弟 ， 包 括 大
批 新 衫 以 應 付 宣 傳 工 作 。 合 作 拍 劇 的 台
前 幕 後 亦 準 備 為 他 舉 行 生 日 會 。

Infernal Affairs
Press Conference
In
Infernal Affairs III, Kelly will continue to play her role as the
psychiatrist and will even help bring justice to Tony Leung who had
died in the first part. In the new movie, there will be several
scenes which Kelly reminiscences the times that she had spent with
Tony. When Kelly was asked if she would be confident to get an award
for Best Female Actress for this role, her answer was that the
chances were low because the movie is based mainly on the male
characters.
Kelly
had scheduled to release her Mandarin album in May and had planned
to shoot the music video with a Korean actor in Taiwan. Under the
new 10 day quarantine rule, the Taiwan trip had to be cancelled to
cut costs. She will now go to Korea for the video filming as well as
the pictures for the album. Kelly is understandable on why Hong
Kongers were discriminated due to SARS.
Although
Kelly had been busy with work, she had prepared a handmade card for
Mother's Day. Ever since she joined show biz, the times for family
reunion . Whenever she goes abroad, she will buy souvenirs as well
as calling back to her family to inform them about her well-being.
The face to face concert which she had recorded earlier in China
will be screened on the 4th and 11th of this month.
陳慧琳為偉仔翻案
陳慧琳（Kelly）於《無間道》飾演一名心理醫生，而今次她續拍《無間道III終極無間》則會為戲中已死的偉仔翻案，當中有不少她與偉仔相處的回憶。問她可會憑這部戲問鼎影后呢？Kelly直言機會不大，因為這部屬於男仔戲。
Kelly本在5月中推出國語碟，原定找來《藍色生死戀２》男主角朴勇河到台灣拍MV，由於台灣實施隔離入境港客十日政策，故取消到台灣工作，否則開支會好大，現改為到韓國拍MV及影相。港人似被外國人歧視，Kelly覺得可以理解，這屬安全問題。
自製心意卡送媽咪
母親節快將來臨，Kelly雖日忙夜忙，但她在佳節時定必親手製作花及心意卡致意。入行以來少有陪伴家人，Kelly出外工作時定會買手信，閒時亦會致電報平安。而她早前在台灣舉行演唱會，將於5月4日及11日在Channel【V】台播映。
