Difficult
Questions For Friends
Kelly
had earlier hosted a programme for RoadShow and she had invited a
group of her good friends to support her. In her upcoming concert,
Kelly had expressed that it will consist of many dances and will
create an underwater world effect. However, she is uncertain whether
she will appear as a mermaid. As for the list of special guests, she
had not forget to take the opportunity to promote her new movie by
mentioning that she would wish to sing the theme song with Leon Lai
of their movie.
Besides
this, her image stylist Yee Chung Man, music producer Mark Lui were
invited for an interview. She had asked them difficult questions
including sharing interesting experiences they had while working
together.

After
Kelly had completed the premiere for "An Empress And The
Warriors" in HK, she had went to Singapore for promotion. In
the event, Kelly was supported by thousands of fans and had even
sang the movie theme song with them. After that she will go with
Leon to Korea to continue on the movie promotion. At present, the
box-office records for the movie across Asia is extremely
satisfactory.
In
the movie, Kelly was wounded by a poison needle but was saved by
Leon. In order to film the scene which he treated her, they had
close skin contact. After filming for days, Leon finally exposed
Kelly's secret for maintaining her beautiful complexion. He said
that Kelly can go to sleep without consuming any food. She would go
to sleep for 15 hours as she claims that it is the natural way of
nourishment. She would not have to consume any nourishing food and
she could save money!
Leon
had even laughed at her with the director that she would look
exactly the same after 10 years like a real sleeping princess! Kelly
rebutted that in order to have good complexion, it is not just
important to use beauty skin products. Sufficient sleep is even more
important and what she was doing is to get enough time for resting!
As such, she finds that filming past midnight is the most tiring. As
to encourage herself for the shoots, she will cook some supper for
herself while she is resting. All the cooking utensils were even
bought by her. She hardly has the time do any cooking these years
but finally has a chance to practise her cooking skills that she
learnt when she was studying abroad.

影 作 宣 傳 。 連 同 內 地 及 港 台 、 馬 來 西 亞
票 房 ， 《 江 山 美 人 》 票 房 成 績 令 人 鼓 舞
。
今 次 Kelly
戲 中 飾 演 的 飛 兒 公 主 背 部 中 了 毒 針 ， 遇
上 黎 明 飾 演 之 段 蘭 泉 以 草 藥 解 毒 所 救 。
為 了 拍 攝 這 場 療 傷 戲 份 ， 黎 明 得 以 與 陳
慧 琳 近 距 離 肌 膚 之 親 ， 而 且 連 日 拍 攝 後
， 黎 明 更 揭 發 了 Kelly 之 養 生 心 得 ： 「 每
逢 拍 攝 早 班 ， 我 們 都 是 六 時 開 工 ， 八 時
收 工 ， Kelly 可 以 任 何 東 西 也 不 吃 就 跑 去
睡 ， 一 睡 便 是 十 五 小 時 ， 她 稱 這 是 『 自
然 療 養 法 』 ， 不 用 吃 營 養 食 品 便 可 瘦 身
， 多 省 錢 ！ 」
黎 明 還
跟 程 導 演 取 笑 Kelly ： 「 10 年 後 的 Kelly 應 該
跟 現 在 一 模 一 樣 ， 名 副 其 實 一 名 睡 公 主
！ 」 而 Kelly 也 不 甘 示 弱 ： 「 要 皮 膚 好 除
了 用 護 膚 品 外 ， 最 重 要 是 睡 眠 充 足 ， 我
只 不 過 是 爭 取 時 間 休 息 ！ 」 所 以 她 覺 得
最 辛 苦 還 是 通 宵 拍 戲 ， 為 了 鼓 勵 自 己 ，
她 在 拍 通 宵 戲 時 會 在 休 息 車 中 煮 一 些 「
消 夜 」 來 吃 ， 如 香 蕉 班 戟 或 朱 古 力 蛋 糕
。 而 所 有 食 用 工 具 都 是 Kelly 購 置 的 。 其
實 她 近 年 已 很 少 煮 食 ， 想 不 到 今 次 為 了
拍 戲 ， 便 將 自 己 在 外 國 留 學 曾 經 煮 過 的
東 西 又 練 習 多 次 。

Going
Into Europe
Kelly
has recently been busy promoting her new movie. As Leon Lai who is
the other co-star was not in Hong Kong, she was often questioned
about his marriage. When she was at Media Asia's press conference,
she immediately said that she was not clear about Leon's matters.
She only said that the box office records for her new movie was a
success in China. Even various parts of Europe are looking into
buying this movie. If their box office records are equally good, she
would give the staff a treat for a holiday. She had claimed that she
had not been to Europe for promotion and she hopes to have the movie
premiere there.

Congratulating
Leon
From
recent papers, Leon Lai had got married with Galie Lok in the
Maldives. While attending Pok Oi Charity Show, Kelly said that she
was uncertain whether Leon's marriage was true. In another
earlier event, while giving a name for the Easter Egg, she had
called it "Leon's daughter", as if to wish Leon to have a
child soon.
When
asked if she had phoned Leon to ask him about the news, she replied
that she will not do so. She felt that she should not be a busybody.
If he wanted to tell her, he will do so. While they were filming the
movie, he did not find any clues that he was getting married. She
added that she does not believe that he is in such a hurry to get
married. However, if it was true, she would congratulate him for
getting a cute wife.
As
to Leon's absence for the premiere of their movie, Kelly said that
she was already aware of it as he needs to work on another film
after finishing theirs. After returning to HK for promotion, he will
take a break as he has not had one for ages. Recently, there were
talks that Leon did not get along with Donnie Yen. Kelly replied
that they were often talking together and get along well.

Future Doing Art
Kelly
was in Chanel's new outfit at the Mobile Art party. She previously
had studied graphic design overseas and she loves art. However, she
admitted that she feels there is no future in it and therefore she
had chose to venture into showbiz.
Seeing
the futuristic exhibits, she was full of praises for them. She said
that she loves going to exhibitions. Would she go into design after
she quits showbiz? She replied that she will not be able to earn any
money. She added that she had not thought about this when she was a
student. Some of her school mates who studied Fine Arts are even
worse off. They have to meet demands from their bosses and would
face alot of pressure. Would she be grateful that she had joined
showbiz instead and did not go through those suffering? Kelly denied
this and said that her heart is still with graphic design. Last
time, she would pick subjects that will allow her to earn big money
in the future. Money was most important as children should not make
their parents worry whether they would be able to make a living for
themselves.
She
further stressed that all this was set for the future and it is
definitely not unusual. One will have to earn a living when they
stay in the city. She has to thank God for giving her what she is
today. Would she venture more into the Arts as she is wealthy now?
She replied that she would participate in more charity art events.
For example, she had not collected a cent for this event and had
came out of support for her friend.

否 慶 幸 自 己 入 娛 樂 圈 不 用 捱 ？ ） 又 唔 好
咁 講 ， 我 個 心 仍 留 戀 平 面 設 計 。 不 過 以
前 讀 書 會 留 意 邊 科 搵 錢 ， 始 終 錢 確 實 幾
緊 要 ， 不 能 要 父 母 為 自 己 擔 心 是 否 搵 到
食 ？ 我 真 係 無 咁 傻 。 」

友 搞 Fine Art 飯 都 無 得 食 ， 出 了 名 又 另 計 。

Being
Stepped On
Kelly
and Guo Xiao Dong have been busily promoting their movie from
Beijing, Shanghai, Xi An, Chong Qing and finally to Guang Zhou.
During the event at Chong Qing, they were even requested to draw the
image they have in mind of the movie. As Kelly had studied Design,
she drew a Miss China look. As for Guo, he drew the cartoon version
of Kelly's look in the movie.
On
their most memorable scene in the movie, Guo had to step on Kelly's
helmet. During the shoot, Kelly told Guo to step on her with all his
might. However, Guo was reluctant to do so and had even requested
the director to get some one else as substitute. This was of course
rejected by the director. During the rehearsal, he tried to step on
Kelly but the director was not satisfied as he felt that he had not
put in more strength. Finally, Kelly told Guo to give his best and
the scene was completed in one take. Seeing that he had put in too
much strength and left Kelly with a foot mark on the face, he was
embarrassed and repeatedly apologised to her.

後 是 Kelly 開 口 要 他 放 膽 踩 好 了 ， 終 於 一
次 過 完 成 動 作 。 看 到 Kelly 的 臉 被 他 踩 過

Promotion
In Shanghai
The
casts for the movie "An Empress And The Warriors" were
busy traveling to parts of China for promotion. At the movie
premiere in Beijing, famous movie director Zhang Yimou was also
present to support them. When asked what was their feeling in the
kissing scene in the movie, Kelly commented that Leon's lips were
soft. Leon said that Kelly had fresh breath and deducted that she
must be in good health.
After
the promotion in Beijing, Kelly and the director proceeded to
Shanghai for another round of promotion. During then, she brought up
about the worst injury she suffered while filming the movie in which
she could not even lift her hand up. During the filming, she was
thinking never to take on any action movies in the future. However,
she forgot about all this after completion. Seeing the end product,
she would definitely do such movies if she has the chance. At the
event, the director had praised Kelly to be hardworking. He is
confident that she definitely has no problem to take on action
movies and could be on par to international female action stars like
Michelle Yeoh, Zhang Ziyi and Brigitte Lin. Kelly added that it was
only physical injury that she had sustained while filming action
movies. It was harder to withdraw from love movies when one gets to
engrossed in the role.

多 次 受 傷 ， 最 嚴 重 一 次 連 手 也 抬 不 起 ，
她 說 ： 「 拍 緊 �� 陣 真 係 諗 住 以 後 唔 接 打
戲 ， 但 拍 完 又 唔 記 得 冲 喎 ！ 依 家 見 到 鏡
頭 咁 靚 ， 下 次 有 機 會 都 會 再 拍 。 」 同 場
的 程 小 東 大 讚 Kelly 拍 打 戲 賣 力 ， 他 說 ：
「 Kelly 拍 打 戲 完 全 冇 問 題 ， 仲 可 以 媲 美
楊 紫 瓊 、 章 子 怡 同 林 青 霞 呢 刋 國 際 知 名
簕 打 女 ！ 」 Kelly 則 補 充 指 拍 打 戲 只 是 皮
肉 受 傷 ， 比 起 感 情 戲 拍 畢 後 難 以 抽 離 ，
尚 算 輕 鬆 。

With The Bow
The
promotion tour in China for "An Empress And The Warriors"
began yesterday with the first stop at Beijing. Kelly and Leon Lai
were praised by the movie director during the press conference to be
professional actors in that they fully cooperated in all
requirements. For example, Kelly is obedient and cute. When she was
told to practise, she would not mutter a word and would went off to
do so. As for Leon who has not filmed action movies for some time,
his actions were very nimble and good.
Both
of them had commented that the hardest part was to film the scene at
the tree house where they fended off the enemy. Kelly said that the
scene was shot at night and she was using a bow of the same height
as herself. It was already not an easy task to lift the bow and she
even had to pull the bow string to fire the arrow. After Leon had
completed his part, Kelly took two weeks to complete her own part.
Every night, the director wanted Kelly to shoot the bow. She did
that till her arms were weak. However, she finally trained herself
to be able to use either the left or right hand to fire the arrow.
In one scene she had to fire the arrow using her right hand from
horseback. As the sun was setting and the crew did not have
sufficient time to move the filming equipment to the opposite side,
the director immediately told Kelly to switch to her left hand to
fire the arrow. She did that without difficulty thanks to the
frequent training she had.
Leon
said that it was fate that he could finally work with Kelly as both
of them had good rapport. Kelly revealed that Leon has a wealth of common knowledge.
As they are required to don armor under 40 degrees celsius, they
sweat alot. To prevent them from getting heat stroke, the crew will
help them to remove the armor and bring the air cooler in front of
them. Leon knew that the sudden change in temperature can cause one
to fall sick. As such, he told her to cool herself using the fan
instead.

但 動 作 非 常 靈 活 ， 相 當 掂 ！

最 辛 苦 的 戲 分 是 在 樹 屋 聯 手 抗 敵 的 場 面
。 Kelly 說 該 場 是 夜 景 戲 ， 所 用 的 弓 與 她
的 高 度 相 若 ， 執 起 來 已 甚 吃 力 ， 還 要 拉
弓 射 出 。 在 黎 明 的 戲 分 拍 完 後 ， 她 獨 自
拍 了 兩 星 期 ， 程 導 演 晚 晚 叫 她 射 箭 ， 射
到 手 軟 ， 還 因 此 練 成 左 右 手 都 能 射 箭 。

由 於 太 陽 快 下 山 ， 劇 組 沒 有 時 間 把 拍 攝
器 材 左 右 轉 換 ， 導 演 於 是 要 她 轉 用 左 手
射 箭 ， 她 即 時 反 應 是 ： 「 吓 ， 咁 都 得 ！
」 但 試 過 多 次 又 做 到 ， 結 果 同 一 個 位 左
右 兩 邊 都 拍 了 一 次 ， 連 她 也 想 不 到 左 手
可 以 射 箭 ， 是 導 演 訓 練 出 來 。
黎明小知識豐富
黎 明 說 終 於 能 與 Kelly
合 作 是 一 種 緣 分 ， 兩 人 亦 非 常 有 默 契 。
Kelly 大 爆 黎 明 的 日 常 小 知 識 非 常 豐 富 ，
因 為 在 40 度 高 溫 下 穿 盔 甲 拍 攝 ， 容 易 滿
頭 大 汗 ， 工 作 人 員 為 防 止 他 們 中 暑 ， 每
拍 完 一 個 鏡 頭 便 幫 他 們 除 下 盔 甲 ， 及 拉
着 冷 氣 機 給 他 們 吹 冷 風 ， 黎 明 知 道 一 冷
一 熱 更 容 易 生 病 ， 所 以 叫 她 盡 量 吹 風 扇
。

Both
the male and female stars of the movie were present at the promotion
event held at Times Square on Monday night. Kelly was like a
princess in her pearl white dress. Even though both stars already
have their respective steads in life, they looked like a pair of
lovers in the event.
On
stage, they both discussed their unforgettable experience while
filming the movie. Leon said that one of the scenes they were on a
flying boat and the boat had to be carried up to a high mountain
during filming to make the scene romantic. Besides this, their movie
costumes were extremely heavy. Leon had to don on 30-40 pounds of
cumbersome armor. When he was not doing any filming, the director
ordered the men to keep him cool using air cooler. He then
caught a cold and fell sick for 4-5 days. However, he would not
regard this as hard work as he still have many years of filming in
his life to be done. As to Kelly looking very sweet when beside him,
he said that both of them get on well and the filming was completed
smoothly and comfortably.
Kelly
has quite a number of action scenes in the movie and one of them she
was chased by warriors and she later fell into the water. She was
panting and had even drank a few gulps of water. When asked if Leon
had given her any words of advice, Kelly laughed that she had not
felt so as they had talked a lot. He had talked about cars, food,
tai chi, interior decoration and some personal thoughts. In the
later half of the year, Kelly will act in a sci-fi movie. When asked
if all this work will push back her wedding date, she admitted that
they do affect the date and her boyfriend knows about all these
work. She added that being together for so many years, there was no
difference if they were to get married or not. There is no need to
pick a date specially to get married. Moreover, she still enjoys the
freedom of being single. She laughed that she was already asked when
she will get married three years ago. When she gets married, she
will again be asked when she will have children. She does not deny
that all these can be irritating.

台 上 兩
人 談 及 拍 攝 時 的 難 忘 事 ， Leon 指 其 中 一 場
戲 要 拍 他 們 坐 飛 船 ， 船 要 吊 到 很 高 的 山
外 拍 攝 ， 做 出 浪 漫 的 感 覺 。 而 今 次 拍 攝
戲 服 也 十 分 重 ， 也 令 他 們 很 難 忘 ， 好 像
黎 明 便 要 穿 上 三 、 四 十 磅 的 盔 甲 ， 十 分
局 促 ， 幸 好 不 用 埋 位 時 ， 導 演 叫 人 拿 冷
氣 給 他 ， 但 結 果 又 因 此 著 涼 ， 又 病 了 四
、 五 日 。 不 過 ， Leon 指 不 可 以 說 拍 得 辛 苦
， 因 為 自 己 的 人 生 未 完 ， 還 有 電 影 要 拍
。 談 及 Kelly 小 鳥 依 人 ， 十 分 甜 蜜 ， Leon 指
拍 攝 時 大 家 都 有 火 花 ， 潛 在 意 識 有 默 契
， 拍 攝 時 也 很 暢 順 和 舒 服 。
享受單身未想結婚

中 有 不 少 動 作 戲 ， 其 中 有 場 戲 她 要 被 武
士 追 殺 ， 後 來 跌 了 落 水 。 當 時 真 是 拍 到
喘 氣 ， 更 因 此 飲 了 幾 啖 水 。 問 到 她 與 Leon
合 作 ， 對 方 有 贈 她 「 金 句 」 嗎 ？ Kelly 笑
謂 可 能 講 了 很 多 ， 或 者 她 感 受 不 到 ， 因
為 他 又 講 車 、 食 、 太 極 、 裝 修 及 個 人 見
解 。 Kelly 下 半 年 將 拍 一 部 超 時 空 科 幻 片
， 問 到 她 不 停 工 作 ， 豈 不 是 要 推 遲 婚 期
？ Kelly 坦 言 有 的 ， 而 男 友 亦知 她 有 工 作 。
她 謂 與 男 友 拍 拖 十 幾 年 ， 大 家 跟 結 了 婚
已 沒 有 分 別 ， 不 用 特 別 抽 一 天 結 婚 ， 加
上 她 亦 享 受 單 身 生 活 。 她 笑 言 在 三
年 前 已 被 追 問 何 時 結 婚 ， 將 來 結 婚 後 ，
又 會 被 追 問 何 時 生 仔 ， 她 不 諱 言 也 會 覺
得 好 討 厭 。

Bombastic
Hairdo
Kelly
was in 3d Gold's fashion party in Beijing on Thursday night s she is
the spokesperson. She had specially appeared in an unusually seen
bombastic hairdo. Kelly remarked that she loves having different
looks and challenges in roles. She had spent almost 5 hours to do
her hair and her neck had turned stiff! However, she felt that this
is worth it as it is very pretty. To pre-congratulate her new movie
in having good box-office sales, 3d Gold had designed a set of
jewels worth $380 000 for her to be worn during the movie premiere
in Beijing and Hong Kong.
Guo
Xiao Dong, who plays the villain in the movie, had also appeared as
special guest for the event. When he appeared, he presented flowers
to Kelly which surprised her. Guo had felt that it is a rare
opportunity for him to work with Kelly, Leon Lai and Donnie Yen and
they had become good friends.
