News - March 2004

Kelly, Richie Ren and Nick Cheung were practising the final scene for their movie "Big Happening" yesterday. Kelly, who plays a police superintendent, had to persuade Richie Ren to surrender in the mini bus. Meanwhile, Nick Cheung had to chase the bus on a motorcycle. As the 10 minute scene needed to be completed in one take, there had to be several practice sessions before the actual shooting held today.

Kelly had expressed that she does not have any action scenes in the movie. As such, she did not have such a hard time compared to her male co-stars. As for Richie Ren, he was depressed that the filming for the movie was coming to an end because he was just beginning to understand the director better.

陳慧琳勸任賢齊投降

陳慧琳（ Kelly ）、任賢齊和張家輝昨日到數碼港為電影《大事件》試拍一場煞科戲份，戲中飾演高級督察的 Kelly 在小巴上勸喻小齊投降，而張家輝就沿途騎電單車追趕小巴，由於該戲份要一 take 過連拍十分鐘，所以他們昨日先到現場試位，到今日才會正式拍攝。

NG 十多次

Kelly 表示本身在戲中無動作鏡頭，所以相比起兩位男角就不覺得辛苦。而小齊就坦言感到失落，他說：「初頭拍時我唔知導演杜琪峰想要乜，所以我試過一個鏡頭 NG 十幾次，到家我至清楚佢拍攝方法，但係都快完，真係覺得有失落。」

Resting At Home To Recover

Kelly and Hacken Lee, as ambassadors for Road Safety Awareness, were present at yesterday's press conference for the event. Recently, Kelly had again suffered a viral infection similar to the one she had last year. Although she looked well, she had difficulty talking and her voice sounded hoarse. During the two days rest, she did not even take a bath or brush her teeth.

To this, Kelly had deduced that the viral infection was due to her flu. The doctor had also told her that she is much higher prone to suffer a relapse because she has a medical history of having the same ailment. Fortunately, there was no scene she had to appear in for Johnny To's movie during these few days and she had the chance to rest at home to recover. Kelly had also mentioned that the medication that she took was strong and she felt giddy after waking up. Besides taking medication and sleeping, she has no strength to do other activities. The medication and the two days rest helped her to recover very quickly.

陳慧琳推掉所有工作養病

陳慧琳和李克勤昨日以道路安全大使身分出席活動，不過去年飽受失聲困擾的 Kelly 又再度染病，抱恙到場的她雖然精神不錯，但說話氣若柔絲，聲音極度沙啞。她日前為了養病，甚至兩天沒有沖涼和刷牙。

陳慧琳說應該是感冒引致喉嚨發炎，而醫生亦稱這個病很易復發，幸好新戲《大事件》尚未拍到她的戲分，故前兩天推掉所有工作，在家專心養病。她坦言藥力十分厲害，起身也見頭暈，故除了食藥和睡覺外，沖涼和刷牙也無力起牀 ﹔ 幸好經兩天休息後，西藥已能控制病情，不過由於要復工的關係，故要轉靠中藥調理。

Training To Succeed

Kelly is a local popular female singer and shortly after her success, her brother, Victor, had also started his career in singing in Hong Kong. However, he was not as successful as her sister. As his results was not as good as expected, he had went to China to take on the role of the leading actor in a movie. He is currently in Suzhou for the filming. As the conditions in the area were harsh, Kelly was worried for him. On the other hand, Kelly felt that it was a good opportunity for him to be independent and adapt to new surroundings. This is considered good training for a man and she believed that to succeed, one will need to have practise.

In the movie, Victor will need to shave his head bald. Kelly praised that his new look was even more attractive. Upon knowing that his work in China was tough, Kelly's family had sympathised him and had periodically sent some items to him. Did Victor made any complaints to Kelly? She replied that he had not done so. Instead, he said that he was very happy in his work. As to being said that her brother was forgotten in time to be placed in a deserted area, Kelly did not agree to this as the movie will help him to expand his career in mainland China. Leo Ku had earlier filmed a drama and had shot to fame in mainland. When asked if Kelly would go over to visit him, she joked that if the place was France, she would definitely go. Their manager had already earlier made a visit and she had too felt that it was tough. Kelly's main worry was that Victor could fall sick during his work. She had sent him medication as the area lacked a proper medical facility.

陳慧琳﹕鍛煉才會成功

陳慧琳是本地樂壇炙手可熱的女歌手，其胞弟陳司翰早在年前亦相繼加入香港的樂壇發展，但相比起姐姐，他的成績就遜色得多。正因為他在本地樂壇發展不理想，近年便轉往內地發展，並接拍了瓊瑤的電影，飾演第一男主角。陳司翰現正身處蘇州拍戲，由於拍戲地點環境較差，作為姐姐的 Kelly ，不禁替弟弟感心痛，但她認為難得首次讓司翰一個人獨立生活，適應環境，這對男人來說，也屬好事，她相信有鍛煉才會成功。

在瓊瑤的電影內，司翰則須剃頭演出， Kelly 大讚弟弟，她表示：「弟弟古裝的造型，比時裝更優勝。我們一家人得知弟弟在內地拍戲的苦況後，也替他心痛，因此，我們亦會定期寄一些物品給他。」司翰有沒有向她訴苦？ Kelly 謂：「他沒有向我訴過苦，反而同我講話很開心。」有指司翰現在好像被長時間流放於內地時， Kelly 並不認同，她說：「他今次是拍瓊瑤的戲，攻內地市場，基仔拍完之後也一樣好紅。」至於 Kelly 會不會到蘇州探望司翰？她笑言：「如果他在法國拍攝，我就一定會去探他。其實鍾珍之前都有去探過司翰，連她也感到當地辛苦。不過男仔始終要捱一下，當中最令我擔心，是怕司翰捱出病，事關該處沒有醫院，所以寄了不少藥給他。」

Song To Remember Anita

Kelly had only knew that the lyrics for her song "Downry" was initially meant for Anita Mui yesterday. The song is currently a hit but Kelly did not mind after learning the news and was grateful to have a song related to Anita.

She had attended a Self-Learning Programme opening ceremony yesterday evening together with 13 representatives of the society. During the event, Kelly had mentioned that she had wished to take lessons in human relations to improve her skill in talking. Even though her words have not offended anyone, she felt that talking is an art and her manager had usually reminded her that she is too frank. As such, she would like to learn to communicate with strangers and start a topic. She is usually shy and seldom utters a word. What was worst is that she may be mistaken for being cool and proud.

Yesterday, a newspaper report had lyricist Wyman Wong revealing that the song that he had penned for Kelly was supposed to be specially written for Anita Mui. Before this, Kelly was unaware and had thought that Wyman has written it for her. The theme of the song is to encourage women to look forward in their lives and there are other things for them to treasure besides marriage. Upon receiving the lyrics, Kelly was delighted and immediately called up her manager and staff in her record label. She also asked someone to thank Wyman on behalf for his wonderful lyrics. Although the lyrics are not specially tailored for her, Kelly was glad to have a song related to Anita and she will use it to remember her.

Kelly added that Wyman had did the right thing not to inform her about the history of the lyrics. It would be hard for her to control her emotions when she recorded the song. However, she will have mixed feelings the next time when she sings the song. She will feel sad when she thinks about Anita but will also be happy when she is with her fans.

陳慧琳（ Kelly ）昨日才知道自己的新歌《嫁妝》的歌詞，原本黃偉文（ Wyman ）是為阿梅而寫，如今成為她唱得 Hit 的新曲，不僅不介意，還慶幸自己有隻歌同阿梅有關。

Kelly 昨日盛裝打扮出席於禮賓府舉行的「自在人生自學計劃」開展儀式，並與現任財政司司長唐英年的母親唐尤淑圻女士及 13 位協辦團體代表齊齊啟動儀式。

改善說話技巧

Kelly 即場表示，希望報讀有關人際關係的課程，改善自己說話技巧。雖然未試過說話得罪人，但 Kelly 認為說話是一種藝術，自己太過心直口快，經常被經理人鍾珍指她太坦白，所以希望學識如何與陌生人溝通，打開話題。由於本身較為怕醜，經常唔出聲，以致被誤會很 Cool ，為了改善這個問題，便想經過學習課程來增進有關技巧。

鼓勵女性自愛

最近填詞人黃偉文（ Wyman ）爆出， Kelly 新歌《嫁妝》的歌詞，本是為梅艷芳度身訂造的。 Kelly 表示昨日才知道此事，一直以為 Wyman 是寫給她的，因為該曲的主旨是鼓勵女性要自愛，人生除了結婚外，還有其他東西，鼓勵大家積極面對人生。「我收到歌詞時好鍾意，重即刻打畀唱片公司、經理人，又託人多謝 Wyman 。雖然隻歌本來唔係寫畀我，但係我都好慶幸自己有隻歌同阿梅有關，我會用呢首歌來紀念佢。」

Kelly 謂幸好 Wyman 沒有將此事告知她，不然錄音時必定會想起梅姐而忍不住落淚。如日後再演繹此曲，心情肯定會矛盾，因想起梅姐的話就一定會哭，但與歌迷一起時就可能會開心。

Kelly's Nightmares

Kelly has an optimistic character and she often appears unfazed by problems. However, she has been plagued by nightmares these few years. She would often have nightmares with her teeth dropping, being peeped by people while she is changing her clothes or to wake up from her sleep crying. These were all due to her heavy pressure in work.

Kelly often had strange dreams during her sleep recently. The most common one was having her teeth dropping out one by one. Finally, her whole row of teeth were all gone! The feeling to her was realistic and horrible. She had wondered if it was because she was used to grinding her teeth. Another dream she had was being spotted by people while she was at home and was seen changing her clothes. In the dream, she would always draw up all the curtains in the house till they finally gave way.

In these two days, she would also wake up from her sleep crying. She had then felt sad that she had been accused by others. There was another dream which she suddenly have to open a concert the next day but later went on stage forgetting all her lyrics. Why did she often have such nightmares? Although she has not consulted a specialist, she had guessed that they were accumulated from her pressure at work.

Although Kelly would often resolve her problems by herself when she is feeling unhappy, many a times the people around her were more worried. She ended up having to console them for her own problems instead. Her optimistic character has in a way helped to be self-independent and not be a burden to others. However, everyone will ultimately need to release their pressure and she felt that it was not a bad method doing that in her dreams.

飽受夢魘折磨 Kelly換衫被偷窺怕怕

陳慧琳（Kelly）天生樂觀，看似無憂無慮，但原來她近年經常發怪夢，在夢中甩牙、換衫被偷窺甚至喊醒，無憂背後，原來有重重壓力藉夢境爆發出來！

我近年成日發夢，特別係刋好奇怪簕夢！我最經常發簕就係甩牙夢，係逐隻逐隻牙咁甩，最後成棚牙甩晒，個感覺好真，好恐怖！唔知係咪因為我成日磨牙簕關係！另外，我經常發夢俾人發現我効屋企，同埋夢見我換衫時俾人睇到，於是成日拉窗簾，搞到成屋窗簾俾我整爛晒！

發夢喊醒猛堦床

呢兩日我試過發夢喊醒，醒簕時候感覺好 � 憎，仲猛咁堦床，好似俾人屈咁，好傷心，因為我唔鍾意俾人屈！仲有就係發夢突然第二日要開演唱會，之後出到台乜歌詞都唔記得晒，好得人驚！點解發刋咁簕夢？我雖然冇問過專家，但我自己都估到，咪驚死囉！平日刋壓力積積埋埋，咪効夢境發洩出𨪛囉！

雖然我天生樂觀，遇到乜卄唔開心事，都會自己調息，好多時身邊簕人仲擔心過我，要我反過來安慰佢㳜。而我性格開朗，能夠自己照顧自己，亦減少身邊人簕麻煩！但人簕情緒始終要發洩，所以我覺得用夢境呢個渠道𨪛發洩紓壓，真係幾好蕂！

Separated From Her Parents Due To Incident

During her childhood days, Kelly had a memorable experience after encountering a cyclone as well as a fire. Kelly was even separated from her parents during the fire.

Kelly would cry when she reads sad news on the papers. However, during the time she had experienced a fire and cyclone, she was extremely calm and did not even shed a single tear.

When she was 8 or 9 years old, At that time, the number 10 cyclone signal was given and her sister and her were sleeping. The house suddenly started to shake and Kelly was woken up from her sleep. Her father had went overseas for work commitment, leaving her mother and them in the house. Kelly's mother was calm and brought us downstairs after packing some clothes and important documents. Seeing her mother being so calm, Kelly had also not feel very frighten. She prayed while waiting for the storm to subside. When they had retuned to the house later, the area was flooded with water. The wind was indeed very strong!

Another incident was when she was 13, and her family were staying on the 8th floor. On one midnight, they had suddenly heard people shouting fire. Kelly and her elder immediately ran out of the house. But when they had reached the ground floor, they did not see their parents and brother come down. Although Kelly felt frightened at that time, she did not cry.

After the firemen had distinguished the fire, her parents and brother finally appeared. They had went to the rooftop when the fire alarm sounded. During the confusion, they had went upstairs while I went down instead. Fortunately, no one was hurt. Thinking back, Kelly felt that she was brave because she did not cry due to fright. An interview was conducted by the television station and her relative had even said that she had saw her on television!

與父母失散險象環生陳慧琳難忘童年風火劫

陳慧琳（Kelly）童年有兩段深刻經歷，分別是遇上風災和火災。原來 Kelly 屋企曾發生火警，當時眾人慌忙逃走， Kelly 更與父母失散，令小小的她飽受驚嚇，幸而最終逢凶化吉，全家人平安無事。

我平時睇報紙，見到刋好慘簕新聞，都會忍唔住喊，但我好記得，細個遇過火災同打風，兩次都令我留下好深刻記憶，不過當時好鎮定，一滴眼淚都冇流過。

記得包年我大概八、九歲，有一晚打十號風球，當時我屋企効大廈簕九樓，包晚好大風，我同家姐一齊𠳓緊覺，突然成間屋猛咁効度「搖」，成個人搖醒冲，當時我爹㳜去冲外地公幹，只得媽咪効度，不過媽咪好鎮定，佢幵好衫坃埋刋證件，先帶我㳜落樓，我見媽咪咁鎮定，所以我都唔係好驚，只係唔停咁念經。當風雨過後，我㳜返上屋企，發現成間屋漏晒水，可想而知個颱風幾犀利！

十三歲已上電視

另外一次係發生効我十三歲包年，當時我住八樓，有一晚凌晨時分，突然聽到樓上有人大嗌火燭，我同家姐慌忙逃走，但落到地下之後，等極都唔見爹㳜媽咪同細佬，望上樓見到好多孼，雖然好驚，但我都冇喊。

後來消防員救熄刋火，爹㳜媽咪同細佬先至効大廈行出𨪛，原來佢㳜當時上冲天台，逃避火警。由於混亂間佢㳜向上走，我㳜向下走，所以咪搞到失散冲囉！好彩大家都冇事，依家諗番起都覺得自己幾堅強，竟然冇驚到喊。記得當時有電視台𨪛採訪，後𨪛仲有親戚話効明珠台新聞報道時見到我添！

Financial Matter Dealt By Father

Although Kelly has earned a lot over the years, she had confessed that she is bad in monetary management. Her earlier investment usually ended in making a loss. While having an idea of her own to set up a hotel, she was stopped by her father.

Kelly earnings are all handled by her father and they have been set for investment. She had listened to him to invest in real property. But after the economy slump, the prices in real property fell, and she had lost a considerable amount. Even though the recent prices had rose, a loss was still inevitable. She had rented out some of her apartments but she found that she often encountered problems. For example, when there was only a minor leakage in the apartment, she was chased by her tenant to fix the problem. There were some tenants that even refused to pay their rent.

Recently, her dad had switched to investing in unit trusts. He had said that the risks were lower and more secure. Her manager had recently invested in foreign exchange and managed to make some money. However, she has no idea about such matters and would not follow her. What she has earned over the years was already over her target. She is contented with the amount and does not plan to set a higher target.

After she had graduated from school, she had immediately entered showbiz. She has thought about doing another job but it is not easy to switch to other jobs once you have become a celebrity. She has an idea to open a Boutique hotel and the interior decor are all done by herself. This is because she enjoys the design process. She had told her idea to her dad but what she got in return was a cold comment that it would definitely make a loss. As such, she hoped that someone will invest and leave the design work to her. Besides the hotel business, she also wished to have a cosmetic label under her name. Then she could sell cosmetic items that she is extremely interested.

不擅理財投資物業變負資產 Kelly信晒老竇成副身家買基金

收入豐厚的陳慧琳，自稱不擅理財，年前投資物業，盡皆蝕本。最近 Kelly 聽從父親所言，將全副身家數千萬𠳓身投資基金。而她的開酒店大計，卻慘遭父親潑冷水指「蝕梗」！

我唔係一個擅於投資理財簕人，所以我入行以𨪛，所賺簕錢，全部都交由我爹㳜幫我投資。之前我有聽爹㳜講，投資物業，不過遇到金融風暴，樓價下跌，結果刋樓蝕冲唔少，雖然近期樓價升番刋，但仍然係蝕。我有將物業出租畀人，但我發覺租畀人好多問題，例如間屋有少少漏水，都俾租客狂追維修，又有刋租客成日唔交租，遇到租霸仲慘，所以出租間屋真係好麻煩。

工作收入超出預期

近期我爹㳜就轉冲投資策略，將我所有錢投資落基金度。（有冇一億？）冇咁多。（幾千萬？）總之係𠳓身啦！因為爹㳜話基金風險冇咁高，穩陣刋喎。最近鍾珍買外幣都賺到刋，不過我對呢刋完全冇 Idea，所以唔會投資外幣。入行到依家所賺簕錢，已經過晒我簕目標，對我𨪛講，已非常滿意，所以唔會再定一個數目作為新目標。

讀完書投入社會之後就係做娛樂圈，我都有諗過第二時做一刋唔同簕職業，不過做冲藝人好難由頭再做其他卄，所以我最想係開一間有百幾間房簕 Boutique 酒店，室內設計由我負責，因為我好享受成個設計過程。我有同爹㳜講過，但係佢就潑我冷水，話我一定蝕梗！所以我希望有人投資，再由我設計，咁就最理想。除冲開酒店，我希望可以用我個名設立化妝品牌，賣化妝品呀，香水呀，總之係關於扮靚簕卄啦，我都好鍾意。

Difficulty In Communicating With People

Being together with her boyfriend for many years, Kelly had admitted to being constantly urged by both sides' parents to get married soon. However, she has not set a plan for marriage but will get married when she feels the time is right.

Kelly usually views things on the bright side and although her parents are separated, it would not affect her thinking of marriage. She understands that two people will not be together forever. But if she were to avoid marriage, she will never get to experience it.

If she gets married, she will not restrict herself not to work and retire from showbiz. She will continue in work that she is interested in and for charity events. Kelly does not anticipate to give birth as she is afraid of pain from labour. It would be best for the males to give birth instead of herself. However, she does thought of having two children. She was unafraid that she will lose her body shape after labour as she felt that people could do so even without giving birth. Besides the fear of pain, bringing a child up is not an easy task in her view.

Kelly enjoys her time staying at home and will not go out to play after work like what most people do. When she gets back from work, she will watch DVDs or go to sleep. Her weakness in communicating with people was probably due to the lack of participating in socialising activities. Her boyfriend had on one occasion brought her to meet his friends. She sat there without uttering a word. Fortunately, they were understanding and did not blame her for being cool and proud.

When she started out in her career, she was shy and seldom talks. Even when people asked her questions, she would only answer yes or no. She was then often misunderstood to be proud! Under the guidance of her manager, she started to open up. Presently, she does not have a problem talking to large crowds but when she is face to face with someone, she does not know what to talk about. As such, she envied those who can easily communicate with people.

雙方父母心急如焚不停催 Kelly結婚生仔兩個夠數

事業如日方中的陳慧琳，父母離異並未讓她留下陰影，Kelly 坦言雙方父母不停催婚，她將憑感覺隨時結婚！Kelly 還表示無懼生仔令身材樣貌走樣！

同男友 Alex 拍冲拖咁多年，雙方父母有冇不停催婚？梗係有啦！不過我㳜冇定一個結婚計畫，總之憑大家簕感覺，鍾意結婚就會結婚！

我天生性格好樂觀，有時都會覺得自己樂觀得幾恐怖。雖然父母婚姻唔如意，離婚收場，但唔會因為咁而影響我對婚姻失望，亦唔會灰到唔敢結婚。我好明白兩個人一齊，未必可以白頭到老，不過人總要試𣈳，唔得咪算囉！唔試就永遠都冇。

如果我結婚，我唔會界定自己唔再做卄，退出娛樂圈，對有興趣簕工作，同埋一刋慈善 Show ，我都會做。至於生仔，我唔會渴望，痛死我咩！最好男人生，唔使我生。不過我諗我都會生仔簕，最好生兩個啦！仔女都唔緊要。我唔怕生仔令身材樣貌走晒樣，人係咪都會走樣蕂啦！反而，生仔簕痛楚先至係最大問題，同埋係擔心唔識桝，始終桝仔女都係一門學問。

家中悠然自得

其實我個人好享受効屋企簕時間，我簕工作實在太多姿多采，唔同一般返朝九晚五簕人，放工會出去玩，我收工鍾意返屋企，睇 DVD 呀、𠳓覺呀咁。唔知係咪少出去 Social ，我覺得自己唔係好識同人溝通，尤其面對新朋友。試過同男友出去見佢刋朋友，我會冇乜出聲就咁坐効度，好彩佢㳜都憐香惜玉，冇覺得我好 Cool ，好寸。

以前初入行，性格比較怕醜，唔多出聲，人㳜問我卄，我又淨係識答 Yes 或者 No ，都俾人誤會我 Cool 同寸蕂！後來經過鍾珍提點，我都改變冲好多。唔知點解，我企効台上面對住過萬觀眾都冇卄，反而面對面就唔知同人講乜好，所以我真係好羨慕刋人可以咁易同人溝通。

Presenting A Positive Image With The Help Of Her Manager

It is hard to find a true friend in showbiz. This was probably because everyone is busy with their own work and it was difficult to maintain an everlasting friendship. Furthermore, Kelly dislike going out to socialise. Even if there was a need to, her manager will always be by her side. As such, her closest friends are probably her colleagues, especially her manager.

Kelly had felt that she was most fortunate to have Miss Chung as her manager. If she had signed under someone else, she could have not presented such a positive image to people. Some managers make use of their own artistes and sell inside info of them to the media. Suing each other is common and is extremely frightening. Miss Chung is a very nice person and often influenced me with positive thinking. It is difficult to find such a good person to oversee her. If she had a bad manager, she could have easily taken the wrong path.

Many people are curious on why Anita Mui and her are such close friends. In fact, they are not so familiar with each other as what most people had thought. Anita is one who she greatly respects. Kelly first got to know her was when they sang a song together for Anita's memorial album. She later invited Kelly as guest for her live show and had also agreed to be the guest for Kelly's concert.

The deepest impression that Anita gave Kelly was that she was one who puts in lots of effort on her work. Anita also cares very much for the people around her. At one time when rehearsing for her concert, she noticed that Kelly, who was in a corner, was feeling very cold. She immediately asked her assistant to give a feathered coat to Kelly. Also, during the first time that Kelly had used a 4 sided stage for her concert, she was extremely frighten because she has no directional sense. Anita had later taught her to make use of the control panel to differentiate the directions. Kelly had wondered sometimes that if she had known Anita earlier, she could have influenced Anita to think on the bright side because she is one who is optimistic.

As for Andy Lau, he would give her pointers whenever they work together. They are helpful to her. Most of the talk with Andy Lau are more serious as they usually involve his working environment. Ekin Cheng is one who loves to play and talking to him makes her happy.

陳慧琳坦言看見一些經理人利用藝人兼胡亂放料，令她大呼恐怖！ Kelly 說：「如果唔係遇到鍾珍，我可能學壞！」對於已離世的阿梅， Kelly 感到遺憾：「如果佢早刋識我就好。」

其實効圈中好難有深交簕朋友，大家各有各忙，好難建立友誼，加上我又唔鍾意出𨪛 Social （應酬）簕！就算真係有需要，鍾珍都會代我去，所以要講圈中簕好友，都係公司同事，特別係我簕經理人。

我覺得我最好彩就係一入娛樂圈簽到鍾珍做我經理人，如果我遇到另一個，可能未必會係咁正面，因為有刋經理人會利用你，又放料，又告𨪛告去咁，都好驚⺊！但鍾小姐個人好好，除冲工作之外，効思想上亦灌輸正面訊息畀我，有咁好簕人睇住我，真係好難搵到蕂！換轉畀包刋好恐怖簕（經理人），我就可能學壞，走錯晒條路。

華仔意見精警

好多人好奇怪梅姐（梅艷芳）點解同我咁 Friend ，但其實我㳜唔係大家想像中咁 Friend ，佢係我好尊重簕前輩，我同佢正式認識係因為包時佢推出一隻紀念唱片，同好多歌手合唱，其中有一首歌係同我合唱，之後佢開拉闊音樂會請我做嘉賓，後來到我開演唱會，佢又幫我手做嘉賓。

而佢畀我最深刻簕印象，係佢做事好落力，又好照顧身邊簕人，記得有一次佢為演唱會綵排緊，但佢竟然留意到企効旁邊簕我好凍，仲即刻叫助手坃件羽絨畀我；仲有我第一次開四面台演唱會，因為我冇乜方向感，所以好驚，梅姐就桝我認住 Panel （控制台）𨪛辨別方向。唉！我有時會諗，如果梅姐早刋識我就好啦！因為我係一個好樂觀簕人，或者可以感染到佢變得樂觀刋。

至於劉德華，同佢合作時佢都有畀意見我，對我都有幫助，同華仔傾偈，講簕任何事都係環繞佢自己，可能佢有咁多公司簕關係，講簕卄會嚴肅刋；而鄭伊健就好鍾意玩，傾起上𨪛好開心。

Refusal To Reveal Her Suitor's Name

Kelly had recently disclosed in a newspaper interview that a male celebrity had used flowers to win her heart when she had broke off with her boyfriend. This relationship was unable to establish as he was rejected by her. During yesterday's radio interview, she was asked on who was the person. She kept mum and had refused to reveal his name. However, she hinted that he sings as well as acts in drama serials. Some had guessed that the person was Leon Lai or Takeshi Kaneshiro but Kelly said that it was not them. She requested everyone to stop making wild guesses as she would definitely not give an answer. Kelly had expressed that she will still see him but will not feel embarrass.

When asked if the person is married, Kelly immediately denied. Kelly added that she was not against having a boyfriend working in showbiz. The main reason on why she had rejected him was that she felt that both of them are not compatible. Also, Kelly does not wish to waste the person's time. Even after Kelly had reconciled with her boyfriend, Alex, she had not tell him that someone had tried to woo her. She felt that it was not necessary because the relationship with the male celebrity had not even started in the first place. The reporters told her that if she had mentioned it to Alex, he could probably be more anxious about her. Kelly laughed that he is already eyeing her tightly and

Kelly had claimed that she did not have any other suitors after that. As for her boyfriend, she heard that he was greatly sought after during the time when they broke up.

陳慧琳日前自爆一個秘密，原來早年她與男友 Alex 分手的真空期間，有一位圈中男士向她展開鮮花追求攻勢，可惜最終都未能打動伊人芳心，被 Kelly 拒絕。昨日 Kelly 接受電台訪問時，被追問這位追求者是誰時，她守口如瓶，不肯作任何透露。但又暗示此君是圈中人，這位追求者既唱歌又拍劇，不過沒有拍電影，有人猜測是黎明或金城武，但 Kelly 已作出否認，又叫大家不要再猜，她絕對不會透露的。 Kelly 還表示，現在亦會跟對方碰面，不過彼此間不會因這件事而感到尷尬。

當問及這位追求者是否有婦之夫？ Kelly 即時否認，指對方未結婚。她拒絕對方並非抗拒跟圈中人拍拖，只不過覺得跟對方不合，所以便拒絕對方的追求，不想浪費人家的時間。Kelly 跟 Alex 復合後，亦沒有將這件事告知男友，她認為既然這段情沒有開始，就沒必要去提。有指告知男友的話，Alex 可會對她更緊張， Kelly 笑言男友對她已夠緊張了，如果再加緊張的話，只怕她難再透氣了。

Kelly 謂，跟男友復合之後，再沒有異性追求，而自問不是惹桃花之人，但男友就較惹桃花。她聽聞在真空期間，男友亦成了搶手貨，但復合之後，二人都一樣變絕緣體了。

Most Compatible With Her Boyfriend

Kelly and her boyfriend, Alex, had broke up once a few years back. At that time, Kelly had admitted that she was ruthless and had even thrown away all their photographs and gifts. She was later pursued by a male celebrity but Kelly was not interested in him because she felt that they belonged to two different worlds!

Rumors on Kelly having a relationship with other males are extremely rare. She felt that all these can be controlled by not giving wrong signals to others. She recalled the time when a male celebrity had tried to woo her. One day, he had suddenly gave her a bouquet of flowers and made her extremely surprised. She felt that both of them were not compatible because their way of thinking is very different and had nothing to talk about. Kelly decided not to give any response to him and he also did not make any further action.

They will still greet each other if they meet but will definitely not be friends. If Kelly had still continued to receive his flowers and gifts, it could have caused greater misconception. She admitted that she does not like people to woo her especially when she has a boyfriend now. This is to avoid any misunderstandings and hurt her boyfriend. However, Alex trusts her and they get along very well. She also praised that he has good character and good looking.

Even though they had previously broke up, they still felt that they were most suited for each other. As such, they were back together. The times when they spent together in their earlier years were happy and sweet. Such opportunities are rare now but they will meet up whenever they are not engaged in work. On one occasion, Kelly had suggested to spend a romantic time with Alex on the beach but it was cold and windy when they got there. She immediately decided to leave.

緋聞絕緣自命夠狠陳慧琳姻緣天定男友始終最好

陳慧琳（Kelly）與男友 Alex 多年前曾一度分手，當時她決絕地把二人的照片及物品全部丟掉，她坦言：「我都真係好狠！」甚少緋聞的 Kelly ，原來曾被一位男藝人以鮮花攻勢追求，可惜神女無心：「我㳜根本係兩個世界簕人。」

我入行咁耐，好少傳出緋聞，其實我覺得某程度上，有刋緋聞可以控制到，最重要唔好畀錯 Signal （訊號）人㳜。我記得幾年前同男友 Alex 分手期間，有圈中人追求過我，其中一位外形不俗、身形高大、又演又唱簕男藝人，有日突然送花畀我，我真係嚇冲一跳！因為我㳜係兩個唔同世界簕人，唔彻傾，思想、時間樣樣唔夾！成件事根本唔彻，所以我冇畀反應對方，佢見我咁，最後亦冇再進一步。

之後大家碰面時都會打招呼，但做朋友就唔會喇！佢都唔會啦！而且我唔鍾意畀 Signal 對方，我會表明態度。如果我一路收佢簕花同禮物，會令人誤會，所以我堅定立場，就係冇反應！其實我一直幾抗拒人㳜簕追求，加上我依家有男友就更加怕怕，費事男友誤會我畀 Signal 人啦！我唔想 Hurt （傷害）我男友，亦唔想有緋聞傳出。不過男友對我好放心，我㳜相處得唔錯蕂！佢人品又好，又幾有型喎！嘻嘻！

分手復合似整定

雖然我㳜之前分過手，但最後大家都覺得對方最好，所以又効番埋一齊，都覺係整定！不過諗番起同佢分手包陣時，我將佢十幾年𨪛送畀我同埋有關我㳜簕卄，包括相片、佢親手做簕木盒、寫有溫馨字句簕剪貼簿等好有紀念價值簕卄，竟然一件不留全部丟晒！依家諗番起都覺得自己好狠，相反佢就仍然全部保留番効度！

自製浪漫蕌男友

諗番包陣時，大家年紀仲細，真係好開心、好 Sweet 、好浪漫，亦會花多刋心思做好多卄蕌對方開心。但投入社會之後，忙於工作，唔會再做呢刋卄。不過我㳜一有空閒，就會盡量爭取時間見面。記得有次我諗住浪漫一下，提議去行沙灘，點知去到又凍又大風，邊行邊食風，結果我即刻嗌走！

Criticisms To Motivate Herself To Work harder

Behind the sudden rise in popularity, Kelly has often been criticised that "the faster she climbed, the harder she will fall". To this, Kelly usually tells herself that they are being jealous of her success and their criticisms had helped to motivate her to work harder.

Many people had felt that Kelly's career is smooth-sailing. She has also admitted that she was lucky and was better than her expectation when she entered showbiz. Despite not having prior training, she rose to fame quickly and attained pop queen status. Although this gave her a lot of pressure, she has a optimistic character and often reminds herself to continuously improve herself to show others.

Within slightly more than a year, Kelly had the chance to open her first concert at the coliseum. She was extremely scared at that time because she lacked experience and confidence. Furthermore, that slot was given to her because they wanted someone to occupy that time. She had then wondered if it was too quick for her to open a concert but since someone was willing to give her the opportunity, she should try it out. At that time, she fell sick after being too worried. Kelly felt that the audience were very understanding even though she had not sang well and had given her time to improve. On the other hand, many in the showbiz made criticisms that her high and low keys are bad.

Some had commented that after Paco Wong had left Go East, Kelly's popularity was not as good as before. However, she has felt that if she was still under him, she could probably be still back at the old level.

One must not be too greedy. Not having awards does not mean that you are not popular. Take the example of Andy Lau. He has not got the Most Popular Male Singer award for several years but he is still welcomed by the audience. Jacky Cheung has also not get any awards recently but no one will doubt that he is still the "God of songs". Kelly has felt that she does not have a good song in these two years. Giving an award to her will be meaningless of her songs were not popular. Like what Jacky had said, one will be awarded if he has good songs. She is now hoping that she will receive some good songs in the future but this is all fated.

惡意攻擊轉化原動力 Kelly硬淨唔信紅得快死得快

陳慧琳甫出道即火速竄紅，原來背後曾飽受同行攻擊，甚至被狠批「紅得快，死得快！」面對此等閒言， Kelly 同自己講：「佢㳜眼紅我，唔抵得我！」並將惡意攻擊轉化成激勵發奮的推動力。

我由出道（九五年）到依家，効大家眼中，都覺得我簕事業發展一帆風順，我亦覺得好幸運，得到簕卄，比自己入行時預期真係多好多。不過，因為我冇受過專業訓練，一出道已經唔係普通簕新人，冇幾耐仲「𡛨」一聲做埋天后，於是人㳜要求我一出𨪛就係天后質素。雖然壓力好大，但我個人好樂觀，惟有不停逼自己唱好刋，跳好刋，鞭策自己畀番刋質素人㳜睇！

被彈高低音都唔掂

我入行只有年幾就開第一個紅館演唱會，當時我真係好驚死，因為冇經驗又冇自信，我記得包次只係「攝期」，忽然紅館有五日期，要搵人「攝」，於是就搵冲我去「攝」囉！我當時都諗使唔使咁急呀！但既然有人肯畀機會我，咪惟有用有限資源去做，由於當時太擔心，結果搞到開 Show 時驚到病。其實我覺得觀眾都好體諒我，當時佢㳜覺得我唱得麻麻㳜，但會畀時間我進步，相反行內人就講刋唔好聽簕說話，我都聽過有歌手話我：「上得咁快，好快會死！」亦有人狠狠咁批評我：「佢唱高音又唔得、唱低音又唔得。」

我諗佢㳜咁講都係眼紅我，唔抵得⺊！我惟有同自己咁講，而且要盡力去做，就算我真係好快「耷」，起碼我盡冲力，問心無愧！我自己知自己事，我唔係天生米高積遜，觀眾鍾意自己都係一個包容。

對於呢刋閒言閒語，我唔會俾佢㳜打擊到，反而係無形中幫到我，激發我加倍畀心機。而我亦唔係刋容易俾勝利沖昏頭腦簕女仔，唔會人㳜話我紅，就唔去努力。有人認為我自從黃𡟻高離開正東後，聲勢冇以前咁好，但我覺得如果我仲効 Paco 手上，我最多都係去到呢個位，你仲想我坃咩呢？「最受歡迎女歌星」、連「亞太區最受歡迎女歌星」咁快都坃埋，最高都係去到咁⺊！

做人唔可以太貪心，唔通連「最受歡迎男歌星」都「擸」埋咩！冇得咁蕂！就算冇呢刋獎亦唔代表唔受歡迎，劉德華冇坃好多年「最受歡迎男歌星」，但佢一行出𨪛，真係好受歡迎喎！張學友冇獎坃，唔通你話佢唔係歌神咩！反而我覺得自己呢兩年遇唔到好歌，就算畀獎我都冇用蕂，歌唔 Hit 都係廢，好似學友話齋：「好歌有好報。」所以我最希望等到好歌，但冇辦法，呢刋係天意。
