Most
Appealing Star
Metro
Radio and Guangdong Radio had officially announced yesterday their
joint broadcast with effect from 2 August. For the ceremony, they
had specially invited Kelly, Gigi Leung and Edmond Leung to meet the
media at Guangzhou. Both Kelly and Gigi Leung had many supporters
who kept shouting their names.
During
the ceremony, the three of them were also given awards voted by both
HK and China fans. Kelly was given the Most Appealing Star Award.
This is because whenever she performs on stage, she is able to
appeal to the mass audience. Kelly had later mentioned that she is
very ordinary when she gets off stage and will not go around
attracting people. This is to avoid any unwanted misunderstanding to
the opposite sex and her boyfriend fully trusts her. Kelly's choice
of Most Appealing Star are Leslie Chueng and Anita Mui.

Becoming
A Mother At 40
While
at yesterday's radio interview at Commercial Radio, Kelly had
mentioned that she hopes to become a mother before reaching 40. She
will first have one child and pregnancy is really not as bad as she
had initially thought, she might consider having a limit of three
children. Kelly's way of teaching her kids will also not be as
strict as that of her father. She recalled getting caned once for
not doing her homework.
For
her year end concert, Kelly has been taking yoga classes and has
already been for 4 sessions resulting in bruises over her body.
After the HK concert, she will have a concert tour in Mainland China
in which she admitted that her main source of income comes from
there. When asked if she had any investments, she answered that she
had bought an apartment at high price but had made a 7 digit loss
due to falling prices in property.

巡 迴 演 唱 ， 她 不 諱 言 其 主 要 收 入 來 自 內
地 。 問 她 可 有 投 資 ﹖ 可 會 置 業 ﹖ Kelly 即

Watching
Drama Serials To Improve Her Japanese
Kelly
was as the ambassador for Japanese Tourism Promotion to urge people
to learn improve in the language.
Although
Kelly had expressed that there is great improvement in her Japanese,
she still need to continue learning it. She can easily handle
conversing with people but she have problems listening to the news.
She has been learning the language for three years and is conversant
in about 80% of the language. The period when she was filming the
Japanese drama with Kyoko Fukada, she made the greatest improvement.
However, after returning to HK, she lost touch with the language and
had forgotten most of it now. She will have to watch more Japanese
drama serials to help improve her Japanese.
Talking
about her mistake to wear the kimono wrongly in her music video (the
actual way is supposed to be left over right, right over left is for
dead people), Kelly replied that she did was unaware about such
tradition and will not ask for a red packet from her company to ward
off bad luck.

， 雖 然 她 的 日 文 比 以 往 有 很 大 進 步 ， 但
仍 需 繼 續 學 習 ； 日 常 的 用 語 ， 她 尚 可 應
付 得 到 ， 但 一 些 日 語 的 新 聞 則 令 她 感 到
很 吃 力 。 她 學 習 日 語 已 有 三 年 ， 基 本 上
可 以 聽 得 懂 八 成 。 之 前 她 與 深 田 恭 子 合
作 過 拍 劇 ， 期 間 日 文 大 有 進 步 ； 但 回 港
後 因 不 常 用 ， 很 多 日 語 亦 已 忘 記 ， 唯 有
多 看 日 劇 ， 對 其 日 語 進 步 有 很 大 幫 助 。
講 到 Kelly
在 新 歌 MV 的 和 服 打 扮 ， 由 於 誤 將 襟 領 搭
錯 方 向 ， 做 成 是 死 人 的 著 法 。 Kelly 認 為
不 知 者 不 罪 ， 也 沒 有 追 討 利 是 。

Concert
Preparation
Kelly's
fourth solo concert is set to be held at the end of the year. Right
now, she is making preparations for it as well as practising the
dance steps for her new song. As she needed to kneel on the ground,
her knees got red and swollen.
For
now, Kelly will not wear any mini skirts and shorts showing her
bruises. Some of the dance steps for the song had even incorporated
yoga and as such, Kelly had to practise yoga everyday when she is at
home to stretch her muscles. To concentrate fully in her concert
preparation, Kelly will not be taking on any new movies for the
later half of the year. Early this year, she had already started
planning for the concert and rehearsing her dances. The costumes for
the concert will be grand as well as suitable for fast dances. She
had tried on one of a dance suit and as it is extremely
tight-fitting, she will have to keep herself slim. Fortunately,
Kelly is naturally slim and does not need to go on a diet. Also,
prior to the show, Kelly will be anxious and loose weight and
therefore she has no worries to slim herself.

將 會 以 華 麗 為 主 ， 並 配 有 很 多 勁 歌 熱 舞
。 她 於 早 前 開 始 試 衫 ， 其 中 一 件 超 貼 身
舞 衣 ， 由 於 實 在 太 貼 ， 一 定 要 再 纖 瘦 些
， 才 會 著 得 好 睇 。 幸 好 Kelly 得 天 獨 厚 ，
無 需 瘦 身 ， 再 者 每 次 開 騷 前 ， 她 都 因 心
情 緊 張 而 清 減 ， 故 不 用 為 減 肥 煩 惱 。

In Kimono
After
her earlier heroine and cyber look were disclosed by the media,
Kelly's third image for her music video is in kimono and while
wielding the katana blade, she looked just like Lucy Liu in Kill
Bill.
Kelly's
kimono is primarily in white together with silver and black belt. In
one scene where she was carried down by wires descending from the
sky, her slender legs were revealed and was very sexy. The music
video will be telecast over Asia this week.
Kelly
had said that the kimono that she wore was different from the
traditional one. This was the third design as she had tried with a
red kimono as well as other designs. However, they looked
unsatisfactory. They finally decided on this one because it looked
much more modern.

Index
Kelly's
latest album Stylish Index will be released today. She will appear
in 5 different looks expressing daily life. Kelly has a liking for
chocolates no matter they are white or black chocolates. She only
does not take those chocolates with wine because she claimed to be a
poor drinker. There will always be a box of chocolates in Kelly's
refrigerator to keep her happy whenever she is busy or feeling
anxious.
Besides
chocolates, Kelly also loves cakes especially Napolean styled ones.
Her favourite is Lemon cakes but it has to be the type that her
mother bakes when she was young. However, her mother had lost the
recipe and even though Kelly had been around to many shops to tried
out their cakes, the lost taste could not be found.
There
are 15 tracks in the new album, including 11 Cantonese, 3 Mandarin
and 1 English song. Together with the album will be a photo album,
postcards and poster.

Look In Video
Besides
having Chang Siu Tung as the director for Kelly's new music video,
image stylist Yee Chung Mun was also engaged. For
one of Kelly's sexy cyber look, Yee Chung Mun had started
preparation for the costume a month ago.
In
one of the scenes, Kelly had to walk in the snow storm. For this,
the director had used a fan to blow fake snow as well as Kelly's
hair. While filming, the fake snow had constantly pelted into her
mouth and had even blown into her eye. She had to immediately go to
the washroom to remove it from her eye.

As The Heroine
In
the million dollar budget "Phone Killing Order" music
video, Kelly will appear in 3 different images and one of them was
Kelly wearing long robes with a log braid reaching down to her
waist. Kelly's sexy heroine is not easy as her flowing robes that
she was wearing is made of thick PVC and under the hot temperature
of 38 degrees, she was sweating profusely while filming the video.
Besides
her eye-catching image, Kelly had a chance to display her skills.
One of the scenes, Kelly had to be hung up on wire to avoid the
sports car on the road when it speeded past her. As there was some
danger for this scene, the director had personally drove the car
himself. On the other hand, Kelly was grateful for the director's
help despite being busy and had even taken care of her safety
aspects. When Kelly practised turning somersaults on the wire, she
had spent a great amount of time for the actions so as to make them
look realistic.

Besides
attending the opening of Dior's new boutique at Taipei 101, Kelly
was also present at Dior Star Party held at the same night. Present
for the show was also HK star Denise Ho.
Dressed
in an orange dress, Kelly was the centre of attraction. All
accessories she wore were sponsored by Dior and the most surprising
item was her pearl ring made up of two black and white pearls.

Of Dior Boutique
Kelly
was in Taipei to attend the opening of the new Dior boutique at the
three storey 101 building. Dressed in pre-fall school girl look,
Kelly had said that her wear was picked by the staff from Dior. Her
wear will complement her image and status but will not be too sexy.
Dior
had previously sponsored Anita Mui's costumes in her concert. When
asked if Kelly was afraid to be compared to the late Anita, she
replied that she was honoured to be put on par with Anita but their
styles are different.

John Galliano In Paris
Kelly
was earlier invited to Paris to film the ad for Parfums Christian
Dior's beauty line products and she had also attended this season's
Haute Coutre fashion show held at Polo de Paris. This trip was an
eye-opener for Kelly as she had the chance to personally see
beautiful and elegant evening gowns. After the show, Kelly was
brought to the backstage and introduced to international
fashion designer John Galliano. They had also took a picture
together.
Today
(16th July), Kelly will set off to Taiwan to attend the opening of
Dior's new boutique at Taipei 101. This is Kelly's first event for
Dior that is held in Asia. The organisers had specially prepared for
her the latest range of wears, bags and accessories from Dior.

Over
a million dollar budget for the video of Kelly's "Phone Killing
Order" had engaged Chang Siu Tung as the director as well as
the choreographer for the action stunts.
The
video was completed in 3 nights and the streets at Central had to be
sealed off for the filming. To make the scenes look realistic, Kelly
also had to personally take up martial arts classes. This caused her
to have bruises over her arms. During the actual filming, Kelly was
strapped on to wires and hung in mid air. Under the guidance of the
director, she had to perform several high difficulty stunts. Kelly
had later admitted that the job was tough but seeing that the
overall effect made her look so cool, she wanted very much to thank
the director putting so much ideas in the video.

在 中 環 封 路 拍 攝 ， 為 求 效 果 逼 真 ， 沒 有
武 功 底 子 的 Kelly ， 跟 隨 程 小 東 及 武 術 指
導 苦 練 ， 令 她 手 臂 出 現 大 大 小 小 的 瘀 痕
。 正 式 拍 攝 時 ， Kelly 套 上 威 也 被 吊 上 半
空 中 ， 應 導 演 要 求 做 出 不 同 高 難 度 的 動
作 。 事 後 問 Kelly 被 吊 在 半 空 有 什 麼 感 覺
， 她 說 ﹕ 「 真 的 很 辛 苦 ， 但 看 到 拍 攝 出
來 的 自 己 十 分 有 型 ， 真 的 很 多 謝 程 小 東
在 動 作 設 計 上 花 了 很 多 心 思 。 」

Yesterday
evening, Kelly had attended the Teenage Outstanding Young Persons
Award Presentation. She was dressed in a floral skirt and it was a
close shave as her skirt flared up while she sat. Kelly had
expressed that she has already worn an additional backing under her
skirt.
Her
earlier trip to Paris was an enjoyable one. Kelly laughed that the
work was not too tough and she even had the time to shop around and
watch shows. The ad for Dior describes her being chased after by the
paparazzi and it is expected to be screened in September. She was
satisfied with her reward for the ad and all her wears are sponsored
by the label.
When
asked if she was aware that Maggie Cheung was recently caught on
picture in bikini while she was on a holiday with her boyfriend in
Portugal, Kelly answered that she would swim when she is overseas
and the temperature is not too cold. She would also wear a bikini
and not be so outdated in wearing a one piece swimsuit. Although the
chances caught on camera are rare overseas, Kelly and her boyfriend
would still not go to public places to swim. After being told that
Maggie Cheung was not swimming in a public pool, Kelly said that she
would have to reconsider bringing an umbrella with her next time to
hide herself from being pictured.

拍 下 穿 三 點 式 在 泳 池 戲 水 的 照 片 ﹖ Kelly
說 ﹕ 「 平 時 我 去 外 國 ， 會 否 游 水 視 天 氣
而 定 ， 亦 都 會 穿 三 點 式 泳 衣 ， 不 會 老 土
穿 一
件 頭 ， 因 為 到 了 外 地 會 放 鬆 一 點 ， 但 和
男 友 不 會 去 公 共 地 方 游 水 的 。 」 張 曼 玉

Dior Fashion Show
After
being announced as the first celebrity for the spokesperson of
Christian Dior's beauty line products, Kelly was given special
priority and guest treatment while she was in Paris for the label's
fashion show.
During
the fashion show, Kelly was arranged to be seated on the first row
together with international model Nathlia. Kelly's appearance
brought a stir among the reporters over the world. Upon knowing that
she will be the new spokesperson for the label's ad, they had rushed
to interview her.
After
the fashion show, Kelly excitedly said that the atmosphere was
terrific. She like the clothes in the show very much
and she immediately went backstage to meet the fashion designer. Her
excitement was similar to a fan meeting her idol.
In
the same day's evening, Kelly had also attended the opening of the
new store at rue Royale. Among the other guests for the opening was
Elvis Presley's granddaughter. Kelly took a photograph with her and
although this was the first time that they met, they had much to
talk about sharing tips on beauty.
This
trip to Paris was specially to shoot the ad for Christian Dior
as well as to attend the two events. Upon arriving at Paris, image
stylists were allocated to Kelly and they had even prepared a batch
of wears for the season for her pick.

由 於 她 很 欣 賞 這 批 靚 衫 ， 所 以 在 完 騷 後
，她 急 不 及 待 第 一 時 間 到 後 台 ， 跟 設 計
師 John Galliano 見 面 ， 心 情 如 同 影 迷 見 偶 像
一 樣 興 奮 。

Kelly
had became the world's first celebrity to be sponsored by both
Perfums Christian Dior as well as Dior Couture. Besides this, it was
the first time that was their beauty line product was endorsed by a
celebrity.
Yesterday,
the Asia Pacific Executive, Mr Pierre Denis, had made an
international announcement that the brand was honoured to
collaborate with Kelly as their partnership over the last few months
was a pleasant one. The Dior Haute Couture gown that Kelly had worn
at the Cannes Film Festival had completely expressed the elegant and
beauty of modern woman.
Presently,
Kelly is in Paris to film the ad and it is expected to be screened
over Asia in September. Also, Kelly will be present at 6 July (Paris
Time) Dior 2004 Autumn/Winter fashion show as an important guest.
She will also attend the opening of the new boutique in Taipei as
well as the event's party.
