Displeasure
On Results
Kelly
was back from Shanghai specially to attend the TVB Jade Solid Gold
Finals on Saturday evening. This is the only award presentation that
Kelly will attend for the year but she was arranged to remain in her
seat until close to the end when she received the Asia Pacific Most
Popular Female Singer for the 6th consecutive year. This could
hardly blame her for feeling disappointed in the results. After the
show, Kelly showed her displeasure and complained that her record
company is a weakling and unable to clinch the award for her.
Kelly
mentioned that she was still finally able to get a major award but
through difficult means. She initially expected to have a top 10
song but was extremely disappointed.
Would
she work harder the next time? Kelly looked displeased and replied
that it is useless. Besides the singer working hard, the record
company also has to put in their effort! However, she does not feel
that her record company had only concentrated on Eason Chan and
neglected her. She felt that Eason should already have won the male
singer award years back. Although Eason did not receive that
many awards, he still managed to get a major one.
Based
on reliable info, Kelly was supposed to have a top 10 song but TVB
had withdrawn the decision so as to makeup to Gold Label for Leo
Ku's lost in the Most Popular Male Singer award. Kelly's song was
substituted by Justin Lo's song. Kelly's duet with Liza Wang
"Goddess of Freedom" had also lost to Alex Fong and Stephy
Tang "Extremely Love". For Kelly's current status in the
music industry, it was definitely difficult for her to remain silent
of her displeasure in the results.
It
has long been mentioned that many singers would render their
services to the station to get into their good books. However, Kelly
stressed that she would not be doing this as the award will be
meaningless even if she gets it. As to Miriam Yeung, who had
recently switched record labels, going back empty handed, Kelly
admitted that this is the norm as the results are very dependant on
the record companies. They belong to the weaklings in society.

司 是 弱 勢 社 群 ， 未 盡 全 力 為 她 爭 取 獎 項

直斥公司欠努力

努 力 ？ Kelly 即 語 帶 不 滿 說 ： 「 沒 有 用 的
！ 時 勢 已 不 同 了 ， 不 是 歌 手 努 力 就 夠 ，
公 司 也 要 努 力 ， 要 一 起 努 力 才 可 ！ 」 言
下 之 意 ， 是 否 認 為 唱 片 公 司 不 夠 努 力 ？
「 是 ！ 但 我 不 認 為 公 司 將 心 機 都 放 陳 奕
迅 身 上 才 忽 略 我 ， Eason 一 早 就 應 該 得 到
『 男 歌 星 』 獎 ； 其 實 Eason 只 得 很 少 獎 ，
不 過 都 有 大 獎 呀 ！ 」
據 悉 ， 原 本 Kelly 有 金
曲 入 圍 ， 但 無 綫 為 了 安 撫 未 能 獲 「 最 受
歡 迎 男 歌 星 」 的 古 巨 基 所 屬 之 金 牌 唱 片
， 唯 有 犧 牲 天 后 ， 讓 側 田 拉 車 邊 入 圍 ；
Kelly 甚 至 連 與 汪 明 荃 合 唱 的 《 自 由 女 神
》 ， 也 敗 於 金 牌 旗 下 歌 手 方 力 申 、 鄧 麗
欣 的 《 十 分 ． 愛 》 。 以 Kelly 今 天 的 樂 壇
地 位 ， 當 然 不 能 扮 輸 得 心 服 口 服 了 。
早料楊千嬅捧蛋
傳 聞 歷 年 來 ， 不 少
歌 手 愛 以 「 多 勞 多 得 」 的 方 法 爭 取 頒 獎
禮 上 的 好 成 績 ， 但 Kelly 強 調 不 會 特 別 這
樣 做 ： 「 如 果 這 樣 做 就 冇 意 思 啦 ！ 不 值
得 獲 獎 ！ 獎 項 應 要 穩 穩 陣 陣 的 獲 得 。 」
提 及 剛 轉 公 司 的 楊 千 嬅 捧 蛋 而 回 ， Kelly
坦 言 正 常 ， 她 更 語 帶 雙 關 說 ： 「 歌 手 有
冇 獎 跟 唱 片 公 司 擺 明 有 着 很 大 的
關 係 啦 ！ 我 們 這 些 是 弱 勢 社 群 呀 ！ 」

Years Recap
Every
beginning of the year, the common topic will always be "Who is
the most popular in the music industry?" This often resulted in
pressure to the singers. However, Kelly describes herself as an
"outsider". If she is asked whether she would want awards
or money at this moment, she would reply that it would not make a
difference if she gets the award again. This is not her aim. If she
would carry on attending such award giving parties organised by the
stations and receive awards from them, she would become
"negative equity".
Looking
through several of the celebrities' forum, most frequent question by
people on Kelly is "Where has she been?" Kelly has
definitely been spending less time in HK for 2006. She is much like
an overseas singer and HK has become only a passerby. In January,
she was in HK for only 2 days.
At
this time where the various awards presentations are held, many
would ask Kelly if she was still anxious about them. She felt that
awards are important for a newcomer as they confirms of their
position. However, Kelly has been in showbiz for 10 years. She now
spends time to broaden other overseas market. Having awards or no
awards to her is no longer important. Her point of view for now is
not to pursue to get more awards from people in order to have a
sense of security.
If
you have a chance to have a peek at Kelly's work schedule, you will
see that they are all filled with flight schedules or car journeys
to China. Kelly is now used to it but she is only worried that
taking flights too often will cause a lack of water to her skin. If
her skin does not get enough moisture, it is a big problem for her
as it is her 'rice bowl' and thus she would have to take care of her
skin properly. Kelly did not have a stop for 2006 and she was always
traveling to China for performances as well as for her concert tour.
It was an abundant harvest 2006 for her overseas compared to her
earnings in HK. Her fans would complain that they have less chance
to see her. She sometimes would also question herself what has she
been busy with. However, everyone would be able to see the fruits of
her labour in this year. She would hold her concert at the HK
coliseum and take on 2 movies.
Following
"Infernal Affairs" and a guest appearance in "McDull,
The Alumni", Kelly has not acted in any movies for a few years.
Many have asked if she will act in the Korean movie "The Raging
Cow". It is still unconfirmed. The role of a mute girl is
interesting and will be refreshing to the audience. Hand signs for
different languages are not similar. For her who does not even know
how to speak Korean but have to learn Korean hand signs will be a
challenge for her. Kelly might be also take on an ancient movie but
the arrangement will be decided by her manager. For her year end
concert, she hopes to be able to get a slot for the venue as it will
mark her 10 years in showbiz and she would like to share this
happiness with her fans.
While
watching the music videos in the DVD accompanying her latest
compilation, Kelly had the chance to recap her different images over
the years. She had forgot most of them and she definitely had many
surprises going through them. A number of the images are very
outdated which she had used to think that they are very trendy. Her
favourite image will be the recent Broadway look for "Lost In
Paradise".
On
her singing, Kelly felt that she had improved in her techniques but
her songs are not as good as they used to be. Would others agree?
She is also unsure about the answer to this question. In this year,
she will attempt to work with other music composers as the ultimate
aim of every singer is to have a good song recognised by everyone.
A
recent talking point of Kelly is about her marriage. It sounded like
everyone is forcing her to get married. For her boyfriend and her,
marriage is still a distant subject and they do not want to rush
things. Her boyfriend is not a playboy and she is also one who is
devoted. They do not need marriage to tie them down. They will get
married when they have decided to have children. At this time, they
even hardly have time to take care of themselves. For now, Kelly has
yet to overcome the phobia of pain during child labour and this
seems to be the best solution for her at this moment.

追求開拓新市場
每 逢 頒 獎 禮 時 期 ，
大 家 都 會 問 我 ： 「 Kelly ， 你 對 獎 項 還 會 着
緊 嗎 ？ 」 真 的 ， 我 自 覺 是 「 局 外 人 」 好
幾 年 了 ， 做 新 人 當 然 希 望 有 獎 項 來 肯 定
在 樂 壇 的 位 置 ， 但 我 入 行 10 年 了 ， 現 在
追 求 開 拓 更 大 的 市 場 ， 有 獎 、 冇 獎 都 不
是 最 重 要 。 我 現 在 的 心 態 ， 不 會 追 求 大
家 多 給 我 一 個 獎 ， 才 有 安 全 感 。
今年紅館開個唱
如 果 你 們 有 機 會 看
到 我 的 檔 期 表 ， 都 是 寫 滿 「 出 發 去 機 場
、 坐 車 返 內 地 …… 」 反 應 跟 我 一 樣 是 「
飛 得 好 密 呀 ！ 」 但 我 已 習 慣 ， 唯 一 擔 心
飛 得 太 多 ， 皮 膚 易 缺 水 ， 對 我 這 個 緊 張
大 師 來 說 ， 皮 膚 不 夠 滋 潤 是 很 大 件 事 ，
因 為 這 是 藝 人 的 「 飯 碗 」 ， 必 須 好 好 保
護 。 或 許 你 和 很 多 香 港 樂 迷 會 問 「 Kelly 去
咗 邊 ？ 」 2006 年 ， 我 去 了 哪 裏 ？ 即 時 找 找
工 作 簿 看 看 ， 原 來 整 年 我 都 冇 停 過 ， 不
停 返 內 地 及 做 巡 迴 演 唱 會 。 這 一 年 我 去
了 豐 收 ， 因 為 香 港 的 市 場 冇 得 豐 收 。 歌
迷 也 會 投 訴 很 少 見 到 我 ， 有 時 我 都 會 想
想 ， 究 竟 我 在 忙 些 什 麼 呢 ？ 真 是 得 個 「
忙 」 字 。 不 過 ， 大 家 在 今 年 會 見 到 我 的
工 作 成 果 ， 我 會 在 紅 館 開 演 唱 會 ， 亦 會
拍 兩 部 電 影 。
自 從 《 無 間 道 》 與
客 串 《 春 田 花 花 同 學 會 》 後 ， 已 有 幾 年
冇 拍 電 影 了 ， 近 期 大 家 常 問 我 是 否 會 拍
韓 國 電 影 《 憤 怒 的 牛 》 （ 暫 名 ） ， 其 實
未 完 全 落 實 。 不 過 ， 由 於 要 飾 演 啞 女 ，
對 我 來 說 是 很 有 興 趣 的 事 ， 觀 眾 也 有 新
鮮 感 ，原 來 不 同 國 家 的 手 語 也 不 同 ， 我
連 韓 語 都 不 懂 ， 卻 要 做 韓 語 手 語 ， 真 的
好 大 挑 戰 。 我 還 可 能 會 拍 一 齣 古 裝 劇 ，
但 一 切 有 待 經 理 人 鍾 珍 安 排 。 今 年 我 打
算 開 個 人 演 唱 會 ， 入 行 10 年 也 是 個 很 值
得 紀 念 的 日 子 ， 好 想 跟 樂 迷 分 享 ， 希 望
申 請 到 年 尾 的 檔 期 ， 和 大 家 在 台 上 慶 祝
。
最愛百老匯女郎造型
最 近 ， 我 推 出 一 張
新 歌 加 精 選 專輯 ， 我 重 看 DVD 中 的 MV ， 重
溫 這 10 年 裏 不 同 變 化 的 唱 片 造 型 ， 其 實
有 很 多 都 忘 記 了 ， 所 以 認 真有 「 驚 喜 」
， 即 是 有 驚 且 喜 ， 驚 的 是 以 前 的 我 是 很
「 娘 」 ， 但 當 時 卻 覺 得 自 己 好 型 ， 我 想
這 就 是 年 紀 與 心 態 的 不 同 ， 連 看 相 同 事
物 都 有 兩 種 感 覺 ； 喜 的 是 近 期 《 紙 醉 金
迷 》 的 百 老 匯 女 郎 造 型 ， 真 的 很 不 錯 ，
我 很 欣 賞 。
所 謂 十 年 人 事 幾 番
新 ， 我 覺 得 自 己 唱 歌 好 咗 ， 但 所 唱 的 歌
， 就 不 及 以 前 好 聽 。 不 知 大 家 是 否 同 意
？ 但 為 何 我 的 歌 不 及 以 前 好 聽 ？ 我 也 搞
不 清 楚 。 今 年 我 會 再 多 嘗 試 與 不 同 的 音
樂 人 合 作 ， 希 望 找 到 新 火 花 ， 做 歌 手 當
然 希 望 遇 到 一 首 大 家 有 共 鳴 的 好 歌 呢 ！
未有結婚衝動
最 近 我 的 感 情 問 題
常 被 拿 出 來 做 話 題 ， 感 覺 像 大 家 逼 我 結
婚 ； 但 對 於 我 與 男 朋 友 （ Alex ） 來 說 ， 結
婚 是 好 遙 遠 的 事 ， 我 們 沒 有 這 個 衝 動 。 Alex
並 不 是 花 弗 的 男 人 ， 我 亦 是 專 一 的 人 ，
不 必 用 婚 姻 綁 住 對 方 的 心 ， 唯 一 就 是 當
我 們 計 劃 想 有 下 一 代 的 話 ， 才 是 時 候 結
婚 ， 但 現 在 忙 到 連 照 顧 自 己 都 不 夠 時 間
， 怎 能 生 BB ？ 况 且 生 仔 好 痛 呀 ！ 我 真 的
克 服 不 到 這 個心 理 ， 所 以 保 持 現 狀 對 大
家 都 是 最 好 的 。 不 過 ， 我 想 這 一 天 ， 始
終 會 來 臨 的 。

Presentation
Kelly,
as spokesperson for 3D-Gold, to attend the party in Shanghai on
Thursday night. Also present was top model Lynn Xiong. Kelly had
also presented her designed jewelry "The One And Only" to
be introduced for the first time to the China market.
Kelly
expressed that she used to study design in New York. If she had not
become a singer, she would most likely be a jewelry designer. She is
now addicted to do more attractive designs. This time, both Kelly
and Lynn gave out the prizes for the lucky draw. Lynn was the host
while Kelly gave away 5 of the prizes.

吸 引 人 的 設 計 作 品 。 」 Kelly 這 次 和 熊 黛
林 更 合 作 幸 運 大 抽 獎 ， 熊 黛 林 出 任 主 持
， Kelly 則 負 責 頒 贈 其 中 5 份 禮 物 。

Promotion
Event In Henan Province
In
a recent visit to Henan province, Kelly had to run around for two
functions in a day. She first appeared for a fashion label promotion
event for its Spring/Summer wear. Although the weather was cold,
Kelly was required to dress in Spring wear. As such, she had brought
along warm bags. In another later outdoor promotion event, over a
thousand people were present. The organiser had planned for her to
come by a secret passage but unexpectedly, the passage was already
blocked by people. They finally got 10 security guards to escort and
clear a way for her to pass.
When
Kelly went up on stage, the crowd got out of control as everyone
wanted to catch a glimpse of her. As there were too many people, the
duration of the function had to be cut short and the initial plan
for her to visit the new shop was cancelled. After this, she
immediately went to the airport to catch the flight back to HK.
During the car journey to the airport, Kelly came across a shop
selling fresh red dates that were extremely fresh and sweet. She
bought 10 cartons to be sent back to HK for her family and friends.

早 被 人 群 包 圍 ， 主 辦 單 位 最 後 出 動 數 十
名 護 衛 替 Kelly 開 路 。
Kelly 上 台 後 ， 現 場 所
有 人 都 失 控 爭 先 恐 後 ， 擠 前 想 一 睹 她 的
風 采 。 由 於 太 多 人 的 關 係 ， 整 個 活 動 時
間 被 迫 臨 時 縮 短 ， 以 及 取 消 她 參 觀
新 店 的 安 排 。 活 動 完 結 後 ， 她 立 即 乘 車
趕 往 機 場 返 港 。 車 程 中 ， Kelly 經 過 售 賣
新 鮮 紅 棗 的 地 方 ， 試 味 後 大 讚 鮮 甜 ， 隨
即 買 了 10 箱 回 港 ， 送 給 家 人 及 同 事 。

Rides
After
the celebration party for the concert in Las Vegas, Kelly and her
staff had a challenge on their guts by playing X Scream at
Stratosphere at 1:30 am. This is third highest thrill ride in the
world measuring 1081 feet (124 stories high). With her was her
make-up artiste and dancers. Before they entered the gantry, they
had to do a safety check and each given a container to put in their
metal objects like hand phones and coins. Kelly made a joke that the
container is used for the person to vomit into during the ride.
Kelly claimed that the most terrifying part of the ride was not
knowing when you will drop down and while suspended in mid air.
Although the night scenery was extremely beautiful, they would have
lost their interests due to the fright. However, it did not satisfy
Kelly and she pulled the others to play the other rides.

Movie Offer
After
acting in the movie "Calmi Cuori Appasionati" with Yutaka
Takenouchi, Kelly's popularity rose in Korea and she was even given
movie offers from film makers in Korea. In yesterday's Korea's
papers reported that Kelly was offered to act in a new movie
entitled "The Furious Cow" (temporary name). She will act
as a mute girl. To the role, both Kelly and her manager felt that it
is a good attempt but the final decision to take on the role will be
based on Kelly's schedule and the co-stars for the movie.
According
to the papers, the co-stars will be a pair of male twins. However,
the film maker has yet to decide on who they were until Kelly has
decided to take on the role. Both the film maker and director had
watched Kelly's previous movies, "Lavender", "Calmi
Cuori Appasionati" and "Anna Magdalena". They felt
that she was suitable for the female role. and hope that she will
agree. Kelly's manager had mentioned that they were honoured to have
the movie offer even if they ultimately might not take on the movie.

邀 陳 慧 琳 拍 攝 韓 片 《 憤 怒 的 牛 》 （ 暫 名
） ， 戲 中 她 飾 演 一 名 啞 女 ， 對 於 該 部 新
片 的 角 色 ， 陳 慧 琳 與 經 理 人 鍾 珍 都 表 示
不 俗 ， 但 是 否 演 出 仍 要 視 乎 檔 期 與 合 作
對 手 再 決 定 。
據 南 韓 報 章 報 道 ，
有 南 韓 片 商 欲 邀 Kelly 拍 電 影 ， 對 一 向 甚
揀 選 劇 本 的 Kelly 來 說 ， 今 次 演 出 這 個 啞
女 角 色 還 會 與 一 對 飾 演 孖 生 兄 弟 的 南 韓
演 員 合 作 ， 是 很 有 新 鮮 感 的 ， 目 前 仍 未
知 哪 兩 名 男 演 員 會 跟 自 己 合 作 ， 因 為 南
韓 片 商 希 望 先 落 實 了 Kelly 是 否 演 出 該 片
才 再 覓 男 角 ， 由 於 該 片 商 與 南 韓 導 演 朴
熙 俊 （ 曾 執 導 《 天 使 夢 》 ） 都 因 看 過
Kelly 在 《 薰 衣 草 》 、 《 冷 靜 與 情 熱 之 間
》 及 《 安 娜 瑪 德 蓮 娜 》 等 電 影 的 演 出 ，
認 為 她 很 適 合 演 出 該 啞 女 角 色 ， 所 以 希
望 Kelly 答 應 。 鍾 珍 謂 須 視 乎 檔 期 與 對 手
， 不 過 能 有 此 機 會 ， 無 論 最 後 是 否 接 演
都 覺 得 榮 幸 。

New
Year's Countdown
Kelly
was in Shanghai on the previous night to attend China TV 's New
Year's countdown celebration broadcast and witnessed the arrival of
2007 with over 100 million people. Kelly appeared on stage in an
antique car with several other singers during the opening. Kelly
performed several hot dance songs to celebrate the new year.
On
stage with Kelly was Pu Bajia, the champion of a contest. He likes
Kelly and his wish for 2007 is to have a hug with her. Kelly
immediately obliged and he was extremely excited.
Looking
back at 2006, Kelly felt that her greatest accomplishment was to
complete her Lost In Paradise world tour which had stretched over a
period of 2 years. It could be considered as a major milestone in
her career. As she was too busy for the past year, she did not have
the chance to act in a movie. She hopes that she will be able to
spend more time on movies and also to try on bad roles or comedies.
Her resolutions for the New Year is to have a pay rise for all the
working community and be blessed with good health.

年 心 願 是 與 她 擁 抱 ， Kelly 爽 快 答 應 ， 令
對 方 興 奮 不 已 。
回 顧 06 年 ， Kelly 覺 得
自 己 最 大 收 穫 是 完 成 《 紙 醉 金 迷 世 界 巡
迴 演 唱 會 》 ， 歷 時 兩 年 ， 是 事 業 一 個 里
程 碑 。 由 於 過 去 年 太 忙 ， 她 沒 有 時 間 拍
電 影 ， 希 望 07 年 能 放 多 些 時 間 在 電 影 上
， 及 希 望 嘗 試 演 奸 角 及 拍 喜 劇 。 新 年 願
望 是 打 工 仔 有 人 工 加 ， 人 人 身 體 健 康 。

New Year
Kelly,
who is currently in Shanghai, wishes everyone to have an exciting
2007 and blessed with good health! For 2007, Kelly hopes that she
will act in a movie. After the movie "Calmi Cuori Appasionati"
with Yutaka Takenouchi, Kelly's popularity in many countries has
been rising especially in Korea. As such, she has been receiving
numerous movie offers that gave her a new hope. Kelly mentioned that
she had received several movie scripts and she is choosing them.
She
admitted that she hoped to have a breakthrough in acting and do
those roles which she have not done. Take for example Joey Wong's
"A Chinese Ghost Story" or Sheren Tang in "War and
Beauty". Kelly feels that Sheren Tang's acting skills is superb
and she was a deep fan of the serial.

， 或 是 電 視 劇 《 金 枝 慾 孽 》 中 鄧 萃 雯 如
妃 的 角 色 ： 「 我 覺 得 鄧 萃 雯 演 技 一 流 ，
當 年 我 係 《 金 》 劇 簕 頭 號 捧 場 客 𨪛 蕂 ！
