Marriage
Proposal From Future Mother-In-Law
In
a recent radio interview, Kelly had expressed that her future
mother-in-law was getting anxious and kept urging her to get married
soon. She had called Kelly to say that she will arrange a date as
soon as possible to talk about marriage matters with Kelly's
parents. At that time when Kelly had received the Outstanding
International Youth Award, she had asked her not to get any more
such awards for fear that Kelly would not want to get married!
Although
Kelly was seldom in HK in the past year, she was not worried that
her relationship with her boyfriend will end up like Gigi Leung and
Ekin Cheng. Kelly mentioned that she is very devoted and gets along
easily with people. But why is she not willing to get married yet?
Kelly's reply was that it is still not the right time. Actually she
feels rather contradictory as she wants to give birth to two
children immediately after marriage but on the other hand, she was
afraid to be tired. Furthermore, she has yet to film a movie that
could be called a representative work. She was envious of Hacken and
expressed that she will also hold a big marriage ceremony.
Kelly
and Liza Wang were the performing guests for Hacken Lee's concert on
Sunday. During the concert, 3 of them were swarmed by the audience
with red packets. Kelly had much difficulty collecting the red
packets as her hands were all full and had to have Hacken to help
her.

》 錄 音 訪 問 時 透 露 ， 男 友 母 親 於 剛 過 去
的 元 旦 致 電 給 她 ， 稱 要 相 約 陳 爸 爸 及 陳
媽 媽 洽 談 婚 事 ， Kelly 說 ： 「 佢 話 唔 得 喇
！ 一 定 要 傾 𣈳 ！ 其 實 我 坃 『 世 界 十 大 傑
出 青 年 』 時 ， 佢 已 叫 我 唔 好 坃 咁 多 『 青
』 （ 獎 項 ） ， 否 則 唔 捨 得 結 婚 ！ 」
去 年 Kelly 先 後 赴 三 十
多 個 地 方 登 台 ， 離 港 日 子 雖 多 ， 卻 不 怕
會 像 梁 詠 琪 及 鄭 伊 健 般 ， 因 聚 少 離 多 而

Wishes For The New Year
Entering
the year of the Dog, Kelly does not mind portraying comical images
that she was seldom seen. As such, in her new movie McDull, The
Alumni, she appeared as a gossiper office lady. She felt that if one
can make others happy, one will also feel much happier. She had
already prepared a six figure sum to be distributed as red packets
to her staff and friends, hoping to make everyone happy.
Despite
that knowing Kelly will always like to appear pretty in pictures,
the photographer made a suggestion to her to place the toy dog on
her head to make the picture more lively. Kelly immediately agreed.
Kelly's
first wish for the new year is to build more schools in Mainland
China. Her aim is to establish 10 schools. Currently, 5 have already
been built. For this year, she will work hard to raise more funds to
help more children.
As
for her other three wishes, Kelly hopes to complete her concert tour
for North America smoothly
so as to allow her third wish to proceed to her movie filming. Her
final wish is to produce a Cantonese and Mandarin album that she and
her fans are satisfied.

希望內地建10間小學

順 得 人 」 ， Kelly 在 狗 年 的 四 大 目 標 之 中
， 其 中 一 個 是 為 她 人 實 踐 願 望 —— 在 內
地 興 建 小 學 ， 目 標 是 興 建 10 間 ， 目 前 已
有 5 間 ， 所 以 她 今 年 會 努 力 籌 錢 ， 為 更
多 內 地 小 朋 友 謀 求 幸 福 。
專心拍戲做唱片
至 於 另 外 3 個 工 作 上
的 目 標 又 是 什 麼 ﹖ Kelly 說 ﹕ 「 首 先 是 年
頭 完 成 美 加 的 巡 迴 演 唱 會 ， 正 式 完 成 橫
跨 兩 年 的 個 唱 ， 這 樣 我 就 可 安 心 進行 第 2
個 目 標 —— 拍 電 影 ﹔ 而第 3 個 目 標 ，就
是 錄 一 張 我 與 歌 迷 都 滿 意 的 廣 東 及 國 語

Red Packets To Staff
Kelly
was at the new
movie "McDull, The Alumni" premiere and had received
sponsorship from fashion label Celine for her dress. She had also
worn her own five carat diamond earrings to go along with the dress.
Her attractive dressing was estimated to cost a near six figure sum.
During the event, Kelly revealed that she will be performing guest
for Hacken Lee's concert on the first day of the Lunar New Year. She
would also pay a visit to her grandmother during that day. Also,
Kelly has the practice to give red packets to her staff during work
on New Year.
On
the same day, Kelly had attended Go East's 10th Anniversary press
conference. As the "big sister" for the record company,
she had expressed that she had been in the company for 10 years. The
reporters praised her for being loyal to her roots. She used to have
thoughts to leave for another record company but she was offered
with good terms that attracted her to stay on.

水 蕂 ！ 都 有 諗 過 走 ， 不 過 公 司 開 冲 好 條

Singing
With Children
Kelly
had lead over a thousand children to sing the school song for the
movie "McDull, The Alumni". She had also used the event to
promote the new movie. During the singing, one of the little girls
started crying because her plastic flower had broke. Kelly consoled
her and finally managed to cheer her up.
On
seeing that she had cared so much for the child, she was asked if
she loves children. Kelly admitted that she loves kids but she feels
that giving birth is a difficulty and therefore she is still
unprepared to have her own child.
For
Monday night's RTHK Awards Presentation, Kelly had not won any
awards. Was she disappointed? She gave a laugh that she did not get
any award as she was not present. The reporters pointed out that the
radio station had not laid down such a rule. In reply, Kelly said
that she had work on hand and was unable to attend the awards
presentation. Even though her song "Hope" was not in the
top 10 song awards, what was more important is that the audience
like the song.

否 失 望 ﹖ Kelly 即 笑 言 因 為 不 出 席 就 沒 有
獎 ， 記 者 指 港 台 沒 有 此 規 定 ， Kelly 則 謂
總 之 自 己 有 工 作 在 身 不 能 出 席 ， 雖 然 《
希 望 》 連 金 曲 也 不 入 ， 但 最 緊 要 觀 眾 喜
歡 與 識 唱 就 夠 了 。

Preserved Oranges
Kelly
had earlier shot a Lunar New Year special for TVB and in the show,
she had expressed that she has not visited flower fairs ever since
she entered showbiz. It was a rare opportunity for her and a potted
yellow chrysanthemums had caught her eye. She managed to bargain the
price from $128 to $88.
Kelly
mentioned that
every year, her father would buy her a pot of Mandarin orange plant
to be placed in her house. However, it was always a problem to
maintain the plant after the New Year. 2 years ago, Kelly managed to
learn how to make salted dried Mandarin oranges through the
Internet. The oranges could be put to use and they are also
nutritious food to protect the vocals. As such, Kelly started to
preserve the oranges herself but she has yet dare to try them out.
Kelly's
Lost In Paradise Concert DVD will be released today. The 3 disc DVD
set comprises of excerpts from the 10 shows in HK as well as from
her concert tour in Mainland China, making up a total of 53 tracks.
Also included is a 100 paged pictorial booklet.

我 從 網 上 得 知 醃 製 鹹 柑 桔 的 方 法 ， 一 方
面 不 浪 費 食 物 ， 鹹 柑 桔 又 可 保 養 聲 帶 ，
我 便 開 始 浸 鹹 柑 桔 ， 但 我 從 來 不 敢 嘗 試
自 己 的 製 成 品 。 」
此 外 ， Kelly 的 「 紙 醉
金 迷 演 唱 會 」 DVD 今 日 推 出 ， 3 隻 碟 收 錄
了 香 港 10 場 演 唱 會 及 中 國 巡 迴 演 唱 會 精
華 ， 加 起 來 共 收 錄 了 53 首 國 、 粵 語 歌 曲
， 隨 碟 再 附 送 100 頁 珍 藏 寫 真 集 ， Kelly 迷
絕 不 可 錯 過 。

Her Boyfriend To Fend Off The Opposite Sex
Re-known
dance instructor Sunny Wong and his friends had set up a bar at Lam
Kwai Fong and had invited several of their showbiz friends including
Kelly, Aaron Kwok, Ella Koon and Calvin Choy for the opening.
Kelly
has not been to Lam Kwai Fong for 7 years and she laughed that it
was a rare opportunity. She said that the 3 main reasons to visit
the bars are to meet people of the opposite sex, have a drink and to
dance. Kelly is a poor drinker and she has no need to know more
males. Besides, her work already needs her to dance frequently and
as such she has no reasons to be there.
As
for her boyfriend, Kelly had admitted that he likes to frequent
these night spots and had even encountered females approaching him
for several times. However, Kelly has alot of trust in him because
she has already taught him how to handle such situations to keep
them off!

Monetary Matters With Boyfriend
Yesterday
afternoon, Kelly was invited to attend the opening of composer,
Ronald Ng's music school. Kelly had expressed that she did not
accept any charges to attend the event but was present because of
her friendship with him. As to whether Kelly was interested to teach
singing, she replied that she was not qualified. Also, she has no
plans to start a business together with her boyfriend. This is
because she feels that there is a need to clearly distinguish money
from herself and that of her boyfriend's. Her personal wealth has
been handled over to her father. If she really was to start a
business, she hopes to go into the fashion line or selling perfumes
and cosmetics. However, Kelly admitted that she is not good in
accounting and she could only doll herself up for promotion work.

McDull,
The Alumni
Kelly,
Josie Ho and Zhou Bichang will play busybody office ladies in the
movie "McDull, The Alumni". Their characters were designed
based on the Japanese hit serial "Syomuni". The 3 singers
had to put down their usual cool images to act as great gossiping
office ladies.
In
one of the scenes, they were walking in the streets of Central to
have lunch during the Sunday afternoon. Kelly had to twist her waist
vigorously. She claimed that this role was her biggest challenge and
she had to come up with many exaggerating expressions. Even when she
walks, she would even fall down. As a result of this, she hurt her
knees while filming a scene that required her to sprain herself
while walking down the stairs. What left her the deepest impression
in the movie was Ronald Cheng acting as International pianist Li
Yundi. Kelly had initially thought that the real Li Yundi had a
special appearance in the movie and wanted to walk up to him and
shake his hand. Unexpectedly, it was Ronald Cheng in disguise.

飯 的 戲 分 ， 陳 慧 琳 風 騷 扭 動 纖 腰 。 她 自
認 今 次 是 有 史 以 來 最 八 的 角 色 ， 性 格 傻
傻 戇 戇 ， 動 作 多 多 又 誇 張 論 盡 ， 行 路 都
會 跌 倒 。 她 拍 一 場 落 樓 梯 扭 傷 戲 ， 因 穿
著 窄 裙 及 不 懂 就 力 ， 撞 到 膝 蓋 瘀 黑 。 拍
攝 此 戲 令 她 最 深 刻 是 鄭 中 基 ， 有 次 見 到
交 響 樂 團 中 有 偶 像 李 雲 迪 背 影 ， 以 為 他
有 份 客 串 ， 開 心 上 前 握 手 ， 豈 料 卻 是 鄭
中 基 所 扮 ， 但 真 的 很 神 似 。

No
Urge To Get Married
In
previous night's TVB Jade Solid Gold Finals, besides the Top 10 Song
Award and Ad Song Award, Kelly had also won the Asia Pacific Female
Singer for the fifth year. On receiving her award on stage, she
could not hold back her tears and cried. She expressed that it was
getting harder for her to continue receiving this award. She later
explained that in the past year, she had been busy traveling to
Mainland China for concerts. She was very happy to be able to
receive 3 awards despite spending less time in HK. It is an
improvement for her as she had been only receiving 2 awards for the
last few years.
This
year is a good year for marriage and Eason Chan and Hacken Lee had
earlier declared that they will be getting married. Does Kelly and
her boyfriend wish to follow suit? Hearing this, Kelly made a "Wa!"
and said that she was far from that. She mentioned that she would
definitely not get married earlier than them. She will do so only
after Hacken had his first child. She laughed that she still wants
to collect a few more years of red packets and will not get married
so soon.

聽 後 即 「 嘩 」 了 一 聲 ， 並 說 很 遠 哩 。 她

才 會 輪 到 她 ， Kelly 笑 稱 ， 自 己 還 要 拿 多

Rehearsing
For TVB Jade Solid Gold Finals
TVB's
Jade Solid Gold Awards Finals will be held tomorrow evening at the
HK Coliseum. Several singers including Kelly, Leo Ku, Joey Yung,
Denise Ho, Kenny Kwan were present for the prayer ceremony. There
will be a total of 40 awards to be given out in the show. To date,
the top 3 groups with the most number of votes for the Charity Duo
are Andy Lau with Twins, Andy Lau with Joey Yung, and Andy Lau with
Kelly.
There
were rumours of Kelly getting the gold song award for Hope in the
awards presentation. When asked on why she would turn up for TVB's
presentation and be absent for the rest, she explained that she was
earlier busy with her concert tour in China and not that she chose
to attend the show this time as she was certain that she will get a
major award. On her confidence for the awards presentation, Kelly
confessed that she is indeed more confident especially in the Asia
Pacific Female Singer Award. As to whether she will win the Gold
Song Award as well, she was uncertain but her song "Hope"
is very popular both in HK and Mainland China. This song had also
improved her earnings and also that of her record company.
On
the Most Popular Female Singer Award, Kelly felt that the likely
winner will be Joey or Miriam and she had claimed that she does not
have a chance to win the award. Also, she does not want to win the
award as she has been getting only the Asia Pacific Female Singer
for the past years. It will be strange if she suddenly wins Most
Popular Female Singer again. There were constant rumours that
the nominated female singers for the Most Popular category were not
in good terms with each other and that Kelly was most fortunate and
relieved on not to be dragged in as her chances were much lower. The
group with the most votes for the Charity Duo award will be
performing a Latin dance. As such, Kelly and Joey were both
rehearsing with the dance instructor.

Acting
As The Gossiping Office Lady
The
movie "McDull, The Alumni" held its promotion event at one
of the cinemas. Initially, the music video for the movie was
arranged to be screened during the event. However, the stars were
either absent or late. As such, the screening was cancelled. Kelly
was late for half an hour and when she arrived, she was immediately
arranged to have her photograph taken in front of the huge movie
poster placed at the alley.
In
the movie, Kelly plays a busybody office lady who likes to gossip
about people with the character played by Josie Ho. Kelly felt that
it was fun to play such a character as she has done that before. One
of the scenes even showed her gossiping in Morse Code. Kelly had
claimed that she will usually only listen to gossips from others but
tends to forget them easily.
Kelly's
last movie was "Breaking News" as she had not filmed any
new movies for some time. This year, she will be acting in a ancient
movie which is also her first attempt at such movies. Her character
will be gentle swordswoman. As to who will be her co-star for the
movie, she laughed that it can be anyone as long as if he is
handsome. Currently, Kelly has been practising on stretching for the
movie. On who the movie director was, Kelly replied that it is a
secret.

味 》 MV 首 播 儀 式 ， 但 因 為 曾 志 偉 突 然 甩
底 、 陳 慧 琳 又 遲 到 半 小 時 ， 只 剩 梁 洛 施
一 個 ， 連 首 播 儀 式 也 取 消 了 。 及 後 陳 慧
琳 趕 到 ， 匆 忙 安 排 她 到 戲 院 拍 照 ， 因 為
走 廊 上 有 巨 型 的 電 影 角 色 造 型 海 報 。
Kelly 在 戲
中 演 OL ， 為 人 非 常 八 卦 ， 又 愛 講 是 非 ，
經 常 與 何 超 儀 八 是 非 。 她 坦 言 這 個 角 色
幾 好 玩 ， 因 為 是 刻 意 講 是 非 ， 她 都 未 做
過 此 角 色 ， 平 時 更 加 好 少 周 圍 八 卦 。 其
中 一 場 戲 更 講 她 與 超 儀 及 超 級 女 聲 周 筆
暢 以 摩 斯 密 碼 講 是 非 。 Kelly 坦 言 平 時 聽
是 非 較 多 ， 很 快 便 會 忘 記 ， 但 自 己 好 少
付 出 。 她 笑 言 都 學 一 些 師 奶 或 八 婆 的 樣
子 去 做 。
Kelly 已 有
一 段 時 間 沒 有 拍 戲 了 ， 對 上 一 部 戲 是 《
大 事 件 》 。 今 年 她 會 拍 攝 一 套 古 裝 片 ，
也 是 首 次 拍 古 裝 電 影 。 在 戲 中 她 的 角 色
溫 柔 、 高 貴 但 也 是 俠 女 ， 還 有 一 段 蕩 氣
迴 腸 的 歷 史 背 景 。 問 到 她 想 與 那 個 男 主
角 合 作 ？ 她 笑 言 只 要 是 靚 仔 便 可 以 了 。
現 在 她 已 努 力 拉 筋 ， 準 備 演 出 。 至 於 導
演 是 誰 ， Kelly 就 保 密 ， 但 被 問 到 是 否 程
小 東 ， 她 就 笑 言 不 敢 講 。

Chicken
Kelly
who was in Yan Chai Charity Show had to perform chopping the
chicken. She had claimed that it was her first attempt doing this
and was qualified after arranging the pieces of chicken meat neatly
on the plate. She laughed that the chicken was already cooked and
she would not have to worry about catching bird flu. She had even
chopped the chicken's ass. When asked if she was concerned about the
breaking up of Gigi Leung and Ekin Cheng, she replied that she did
not notice that Gigi was feeling abnormally. Even when she met her,
Kelly did not bring up the matter.

Million Ringtone Downloads For Hope
The
song "Hope" had made Kelly extremely popular in China and
because of this Kelly had many opportunities for performances in
various parts of China including Hunan, Shanxi, Hebei.
"Hope" was also the top song of charts for 20 radio
stations in China and had even set a high record for ringtone
downloads. A month after the initial launch, there were a total of
over 3 million downloads and to date, the accumulated figure is over
6 million. As such, her record company had earned $5 million after
deductions.
Universal
Music's managing director had called Kelly to inform her of the good
news. Kelly had promised that if the number of downloads were to go
over 10 million, she will distribute the earnings to the staff.
Kelly's record company had also decided to release a second edition
of the album "Eternal Sunshine" with a 7 song music video
DVD for the China market.
Kelly
was earlier in Xijiang for a performance and she had sung
"Hope" with a group of children. As for the new year,
Kelly's schedule has been fully occupied with performances almost
everyday in various cities in China.

， 共 同 分 享 努 力 成 果 。 唱 片 公 司 亦 乘 勢

New Year Resolutions
On
New Year's Eve, Kelly had held the second show of her concert in
Guangzhou. It was also the final stop for the tour in China. Kelly
had invited Candy Lo as guest and they were hand in hand
singing the song "Lavender". Kelly mentioned that she
admired Candy's character and that many fans like to listen to her
song.
As such, she had invited Candy for the performing guest.
Kelly's
New Year resolutions was to wish that everyone will stay healthy and
be happy everyday. The Guangzhou stop had also marked the end of her
20 over concert shows in her tour. For 2005, she felt that she was
fortunate to have a good song like "Hope". She had also
wished that she will have better songs and movie scripts for the new
year.
After
the concert, Kelly had changed into casual attire to have a private
function with the fans. Besides having countdown celebrations, they
had also sang "Hope" together to welcome the new year.
