For Engagement Ring From Boyfriend
At
the opening of the new 3-D Gold branch at Tsim Sha Tsui, Kelly's
appearance had attracted a large crowd of by passers. As her reward,
she was presented with a miniature model of the horse carriage used
in her concert made out of gold. Kelly again had the chance to sit
on the horse carriage after her concert as it was moved over to the
new branch after her concert. The organisers had also arranged for a
group of kids dressed in various national costumes to accompany
Kelly on the carriage. Kelly was delighted and on seeing a small Caucasian
girl, she praised her for being cute and excitedly hugged her during
the photo taking.
After
being the spokesperson for the jewel shop, its business had
prospered and had consecutively opened its 4th branch. With each
attendance of the company's event, Kelly will be presented with an
expensive token of appreciation. Little wonder that Kelly would of
course wish that future branches will be opened. She had admitted
that most of her expensive jewels are given to her by the company
and she would put them into bank safe. If her mother or sister
wishes to don any accessories, she would lend them.
Kelly
had expressed that the most meaningful diamond jewel she have was
the one designed by her father and worn when she attended the
Outstanding Young Persons Of The World award presentation. As for
her boyfriend, he had yet to give her any expensive jewellery. She
laughed that she had most wanted to receive a stylish and big
diamond ring for her to wear every day. However, her boyfriend had
not proposed to her as she was not in a hurry to get married!

首 飾 ， 大 部 分 都 是 鑽 飾 公 司 所 贈 ， 每 次

果 媽 咪 和 家 姐 想 用 來 配 襯 ， 她 都 會 借 給

父 親 設 計 項 鏈
Kelly 表 示
， 在 擁 有 的 鑽 飾 當 中 ， 最 有 意 義 的 一 份
， 就 是 她 得 到 「 世 界 傑 出 青 年 」 時 ， 父
親 特 別 為 她 設 計 的 項 鏈 。 至 於 男 朋 友 方

Of Dae Jang Geum
Having
the chance to sing the theme song for Korean popular drama serial
"Dae Jang Geum", Kelly had became obsessed with watching .
Recently, she was in the studio recording the theme song called
"Hope" that is adapted from the original Korean version.
On the other hand, the Mandarin version of the song is sung by
Kelly's younger colleague, Angela Chang.
Dae
Jang Geum is a 70 episode serial to be broadcast on TVB. To be
selected to sing the theme song, Kelly felt honored. Before
recording the song, the TV station had given two episodes of the
serial for her to see so as to put her personal experience of the
serial into the song. Unexpectedly, after watching them, Kelly was
addicted to the serial and wanted to watch the remaining episodes.
However, the reply she got was to watch them when the serial is
broadcast! Although Kelly had only seen two episodes, she was
attracted by the story and admired by the female lead's
perseverance.
Also,
Kelly had liked the images in the serial and had admitted wanting to
try out on filming period dramas herself. However, no directors had
approached her to do them probably because her look is much too
modern.

因 為 主 唱 韓 劇 《 大
長 今 》 主 題 曲 《 希 望 》 ， 陳 慧 琳 最 近 迷
上 了 韓 劇 ， 更 成 為 《 大 長 今 》 的 忠 實 fans
。 日 前 她 為 這 首 由 韓 國 版 《 大 長 今 》 主
題 曲 改 編 而 成 的 廣 東 版 《 希 望 》 錄 音 ，
國 語 版 的 《 娃 娃 》 則 由 Kelly 的 台 灣 師 妹
張 韶 涵 主 唱 。
《 大 長 今 》 共 七 十
集 ， 是 首 次 在 「 無 線 」 播 出 的 長 篇 韓 劇
， 對 於 能 主 唱 這 套 重 頭 劇 的 主 題 曲 ，
Kelly 感 到 很 榮 幸 。 錄 歌 之 前 ， 「 無 線 」
錄 了 兩 集 《 大 長 今 》 給 她 看 ， 好 讓 她 在
錄 音 時 有 更 深 感 受 ， 怎 知 Kelly 看 了 兩 集
即 時 上 癮 ， 很 想 再 追 看 下 去 ， 但 得 到 的
答 案 是 「 看 電 視 吧 ！ 」 她 表 示 ， 雖 只 是
看 了 兩 集 ， 但 已 被 劇 情 吸 引 ， 更 喜 愛 劇
中 女 主 角 長 今 ， 欣 賞 其 毅 力 及 才 智 ， 還
有 那 種 為 達 成 夢 想 而 不 惜 排 除 萬 難 的 恆
心 。
Kelly 亦 甚 喜 歡 長 今 的
古 裝 扮 相 和 造 型 ， 坦 言 亦 很 想 嘗 試 拍 古
裝 片 ， 但 可 能 是 自 己 的 長 相 時 裝 味 太 濃
， 從 未 試 過 有 導 演 找 她 拍 古 裝 片 呢！

Of The School
Volume
1 of "Kelly International School" was released with good
response and had contributed a six figure sum to Kelly Children
Education Fund. With this success, volume 2 was officially launched
yesterday and Kelly had hoped that funds could be raised quickly to
set up the fourth school in China. Although Kelly was the actual
director of the school, she had said that everyone who have bought
the comic book was also a director. As such, everyone should play a
part to get copies of the book. She further explained that the
contents was designed by a language teacher in England but there are
pictures of her comic character portraying her daily image.

Difficulty
In Keeping Close With Friends
Kelly
did an interview at Metro Radio on Friday night. A magazine had
earlier reported that she had dumped her boyfriend and went shopping
for a whole day with her female friend. Kelly later expressed that
she was her schoolmate in the university. She was from Taiwan and
had specially came over to HK to watch her concert. As such, Kelly
was only acting as guide to bring her around.
During
the shopping, Kelly had purchased a travel luggage. Was she planning
to go overseas with her boyfriend? She replied that it was for her
work but she had also planned to go overseas for a holiday during
the Lunar New Year period. This will be confirmed if time permits.
Joey
Yung had earlier mentioned that other than her mother, her best
friends are the staff in her record company. To this, Kelly agreed.
This is because the times spent with the record company's staff are
longer and they easily become friends. Lives of celebrities are
hectic and their social circle is small and it is difficult for them
to maintain closely with friends. Kelly's best friends are her old
school mates. As for friends in the entertainment circle, her reply
was Mark Lui but most of the times spent together was also due to
work.
Does
Kelly have any close friends among the singers? She said that even
if she has problems, she would only go to her manager. Despite this,
other singers are still considered her good friends. For example, if
they met on award presentations, they would greet each other. As to
how she keeps in contact with her friends outside showbiz, she does
so through e-mail. Sometimes, her friends would even recommend drama
serials to her. They had recently recommended her the TVB serial
"War and Beauty" and she had even bought a DVD set of the
serial to watch.
During
the all stars performance for the Crossing Borders charity concert,
there was a report that she had commented Cecilia Cheung for being
wasteful after the latter had only consumed half of her meal. Kelly
was extremely surprised to know that the reporters could even be
aware in the enclosed back stage. But did Kelly really made such a
comment? She could hardly remember what she had said. She was
already late that day and was worried that she would miss the
performance. Cecilia was again criticised for splurging her money on
branded wear even after the visit to the areas affected by the
tsunami. Kelly felt that she should be commended as she had already
given her heart to help in relief work.

而 大 嘆 浪 費 ， Kelly 聽 後 即 十 分 愕 然 ， 她
說 ： 「 唔 係 呀 ， 後 台 密 封 咁 都 知 ？ （ 咁
你 有 冇 講 過 ？ ） 鬼 記 得 咩 ， 我 當 日 遲 咗
入 去 ， 仲 好 擔 心 有 冇 得 表 演 。 」 對 於 有
指 栢 芝 去 完 災 區 後 繼 續 買 名 牌 ， Kelly 覺

Spokesperson For MacDonalds
Kelly
had officially signed the contract yesterday to be spokesperson for
MacDonalds for 2005. She is also the first celebrity to endorse all
products of the fast food restaurant. Previously, Kelly as well as
other singers were only spokesperson for a selected product and as
such, Kelly's reward this time is definitely much more. The most
happy thing for her is to own a VIP card for the fast food chain,
allowing her to have free burgers wherever she goes. Kelly claimed
that her dream when she was young was to hold her birthday at
MacDonalds but she did not have the chance to do so. She has planned
to hold her birthday as well as fan club party this year at the
restaurant.
The
fast food chain had also released a set of 12 toy animals from the
Chinese astrological sign. Her favourite animal is the pig as it is
pinkish and cute. As to whether she will see her fortune for the
year, she replied that she will not see such predictions because she
choose to believe herself.
This
time, Kelly will have to take ad pictures for the restaurant. In the
coming future, she still have several ads to take up. Does that mean
that her earnings will be alot? She laughed that her taxes for last
year amounted to a seven figure. She believed that the authorities
will be pleased with her performance. Although Kelly earns plenty of
money, she has not forget to contribute to the society. She had
donated another sum of $150 000 to UNICEF to help the tsunami
victims. She had expressed that her personal donation as well as
those from her fund was over a million but she hoped that more could
be continued to be contributed.

Child
Bringing Problem After Marriage
While
at yesterday's radio interview, Kelly spoke of crying on one of the
concert shows which her boyfriend had attended. She explained that
she was singing her boyfriend's favourite song followed by
"Dowry". She was touched at that moment and had started
crying. Her boyfriend did not propose to her after that but she
believed that he has already thought on how to propose to her.
Kelly
mentioned that she is still unable to bear to leave showbiz at this
time and as such would not have any marriage plans at this time. She
wished to have a child by 40. After her marriage she will give birth
as her boyfriend does not want to have a big generation gap with the
child. Kelly dreams to hold her wedding in a big garden and wear a
pretty gown. It will not be held secretly. As to bringing up the
children, Kelly laughed that her mum and manager are good at doing
so.
There
were recent rumours of Gigi Leung's video spread over the internet
taken from below her skirt while she was at TVB Jade Solid Gold
Finals. Kelly explained that everyone was aware of a camera placed
underneath the stage. Initially, the station had informed the female
singers to don pants but they had already prepared dresses and
wanted to appear pretty. However, Kelly believed that even if the TV
station had taken any of such video, they would not play them as it
was prime time. She herself had donned three pairs of shorts beneath
her skirt.

Tears For The Tsunami Victims
There
was a recent report that Kelly's mother had tried to seek blessings
for her children but was conned
and Kelly had later scolded her mum for being silly. During Friday's
night Crossing Borders Fund Raising Show, Kelly was asked about the
report. She was shocked by the question and had firmly replied that
it was untrue. As it was her turn for the performance, Kelly left
with only a short answer.
Kelly
had expressed that whenever she saw the kids who had lost their
parents because of the tsunami over the television, she would shed
tears. Will a part of her children education fund be used for
donations to the victims? She replied that every time she needs to
make any transfer of funds, she would have to make an application.
It was not possible to make any donations whenever she wants.
Nevertheless, Kelly had already made a personal donation for the
relief as well as raising over $800 000 during her concert.

基 金 」 會 否 從 基 金 撥 款 救 濟 災 民 ﹖ 她 說
基 金 的 善 款 有 核 數 師 保 管 ， 每 次 調 動 基

Bomb
Scare
Kelly's
concert finally finished its running of 10 shows but on the last
show, someone played a prank and reported to the police that there
is a bomb placed in the concert venue. As Kelly was unaware of this,
her performance in the show was not affected.
Besides
putting effort in her performance, she had not forget to urge for
donations to help the South Asia Tsunami victims. The total sum
raise was over $800 000. To her success in completing the concerts
smoothly, Kelly felt extremely happy. On someone playing a prank
about the bomb in the coliseum, she reprimanded the culprit for
coming up such a silly idea to waste the police resources. She had
wondered why the person will play such a big joke on
her.
The
bomb scare was actually notified to the police at around 10 pm. The
person had warned that if Kelly was to go near the audience for
handshakes, he would activate the bomb. The police immediately
despatched people to comb the area. For safety reasons, the staff
had also told Kelly not to have handshakes or give out presents but
without informing her the reason. However, Kelly did not follow
their instructions and still shook hands with the audience.
Fortunately, the bomb was actually a prank.
Seated
guests for the show include Miriam Yeung, Andy Hui, Joey Yung and
Cookies. They were informed about the bomb and were escorted away
from the coliseum before the encore segment. The concert finally
ended at 11:15pm.
Kelly
had considered using the teddy bears that were unable to be given
out in the show for fund raising purposes. She had believed that
this was the biggest prank on her but she would not consider it an
imperfection to her concerts as she had already done her best.

十 場 演 唱 會 於 前 晚 落 幕 ， 不 過 在 當 晚 的
演 唱 會 上 ， 因 為 有 人 惡 作 劇 ， 虛 報 場 內
有 炸 彈 ， 一 度 令 現 場 氣 氛 變 得 緊 張 。 由
於 Kelly 在 台 上 演 出 並 不 知 情 ， 故 無 礙 她
的 演 出 心 情 。
Kelly 在 演
唱 會 上 除 落 力 演 出 外 ， 亦 不 忘 為 南 亞 災
民 籌 款 ， 結 果 共 籌 得 八 十 萬 善 款 ， 她 對
這 個 籌 款 成 績 ， 感 到 很 振 奮 。 Kelly 的 十
場 演 唱 會 進 行 得 很 順 利 ， 她 好 開 心 。 對
於 有 人 虛 報 有 炸 彈 ， 她 指 責 這 些 行 為 ，
實 在 無 聊 ， 是 浪 費 警 方 資 源 。
事 發 於
前 晚 演 唱 會 中 途 ， 約 十 時 許 ， 警 方 接 到
一 暱 名 人 士 的 電 話 ， 指 場 內 有 炸 彈 ， 更
揚 言 只 要 Kelly 與 觀 眾 握 手 ， 便 會 引 爆 ，
於 是 警 方 派 員 到 場 調 查 。 為 安 全 起 見 ，
工 作 人 員 叫 Kelly 不 要 握 手 和 派 禮 物 ， 但
沒 有 告 知 她 原 因 。 可 是 她 沒 有 聽 勸 告 ，
照 樣 跟 觀 眾 握 手 ， 幸 好 只 是 虛 驚 一 場 。
前 晚 往
捧 場 的 嘉 賓 眾 多 ， 包 括 楊 千 嬅 、 許 志 安
、 容 祖 兒 、 Cookies 的 Miki 和 Theresa 、 李 浩 林 等
。 他 們 都 因 為 有 人 虛 報 有 炸 彈 的 關 係 ，
未 到 安 哥 部 分 已 陸 續 離 場 。 演 唱 會 於 十
一 時 十 五 分 結 束 。
事 後 ，
Kelly 表 示 ， 演 出 期 間 ， 她 並 不 知 道 有 「
炸 彈 」 事 件 發 生 。 在 她 換 衫 時 ， 工 作 人
員 叫 她 不 要 握 手 和 派 禮 物 ， 當 時 她 覺 得
奇 怪 ， 她 回 到 台 上 演 出 時 ， 見 歌 迷 表 現
熱 情 ， 她 便 忍 不 住 上 前 握 手 。 當 她 知 道
有 人 惡 作 劇 ， 第 一 個 反 應 是 很 吃 驚 ， 為
何 要 整 蠱 人 ， 現 在 世 界 已 經 夠 亂 ， 這 樣
做 實 在 很 浪 費 警 方 資 源 。
演 唱 會
上 沒 有 派 出 的 公 仔 ， 她 考 慮 在 七 日 演 藝
人 賑 災 活 動 時 作 義 賣 之 用 。 Kelly 謂 ， 相
信 今 次 是 她 入 行 以 來 最 大 整 蠱 ， 不 過 亦
不 會 因 此 而 令 她 覺 得 演 唱 會 不 完 美 ， 她
已 盡 了 力 。
