Appearance For New Movie
Kelly had made her
2 day appearance for the movie Wu Jian Dao in which she plays a
psychiatrist for Tony Leung. The previous night was the first day of
shooting for Kelly. The movie location was at Central where Tony
drives the car to give Kelly a lift.
This was the second
time that Kelly had worked with Tony after the movie Tokyo Raiders.
Kelly had also praised her partner to be handsome.
13 September is
Kelly's birthday and there were talks that her car licence plate
KC913 was given to her by her boyfriend. Kelly clarified this to say
that it was bought by her chauffeur to give her a surprise. Kelly
does not have a driving licence and she has not taken a test for it
because she does not have a sense of direction and gets lost even
when walking around.

Looking
Forward To Another Japanese Movie
Kelly had recently
helped Sony to endorse its latest range of digital camcorders. The
ad showed Kelly filming scenery on her camcorder including The Great
Wall of China, the Olympics and other important events.
Unexpectedly, she managed to film UFO on one occasion and became
famous. However, Kelly had to pay a price to disclose the existence
of the aliens and that is to be captured by them!
On her hit Japanese
movie, Calmi Cuori Appassionati, Kelly mentioned that she is looking
forward to star in more movies from Japan in the future if the
scripts are good.

本 的 話 ， 我 都 想 拍 多 次 日 本 電 影 啊 。 」

Karaoke
Queen For 5 Consecutive Years
Yestyerday
afternoon, Kelly had held an autograph session at one of the karaoke
booths in Mong Kok in which she was awarded the Queen Of Karaoke for
having the highest airplay for her songs in 5 consecutive years. The
area holding the event was also designed to complement Kelly's song
Iced Chamber.
Kelly, who had a
bad flu recently, appeared tired and had difficulty speaking. She
had later claimed that she did not have sufficient rest after her
concert and finally got ill. Although she had seen a doctor and
taken an injection, her voice was still hoarse and was unable to
speak properly. What she was worried most is that her album producer
from Taiwan will come over to Hong Kong to do song recordings for
her, and in addition, she will appear as guest for Kenny Bee's
concert on Tuesday. As such, she hopes to get well as soon as
possible.
Despite being sick,
Kelly attended the event and attracted hundreds of by standers in
the area. The police had to step up on security to maintain order.
The company had initially decided to limit the number of people for
the autograph session to 200 but some fans had already started
queuing from 3 am. Seeing this, they later added an additional 100
so that more people could get Kelly's autographs. Many fans had
taken this opportunity to give presents to Kelly and take
photographs with her. A male fan had even given her roses and
expressed her love for Kelly by shouting "I love Kelly!".
Another female fan had also shown her examination results to Kelly
and was commended by the latter.
Kelly's contract
with Go East is a major concern to many people. Furthermore, Paco's
decision whether to remain in Go East is still uncertain and this
made Kelly's fans to be worried. However, Kelly mentioned that her
work will be as usual and unaffected. As to whether she will follow
Paco to which company he goes to, the answer will be made known at a
later date.

根 本 沒 有 時 間 好 好 休 息 ﹐ 終 於 體 力 不 支
捱 出 病 來 ﹐ 經 醫 生 打 針 後 ﹐ 雖 然 情 況 好
轉 ﹐ 但 說 話 仍 是 有 點 不 夠 氣 。 而 最 令 她
擔 心 的 是 新 碟 監 製 將 於 這 兩 天 由 台 灣 來
港 ﹐ 故 需 要 錄 音 ﹐ 加 上 又 要 為 鍾 鎮 濤 的
演 唱 會 擔 任 嘉 賓 ﹐ 所 以 她 很 希 望 能 盡 快
康 復 。

吸 引 了 數 百 位 途 人 圍 觀 ﹐ 令 警 方 要 派 出
人 手 到 場 維 持 秩 序 ﹐ 以 防 出 現 混 亂 情 況
。 由 於 大 會 原 定 派 發 二 百 名 額 ﹐ 故 有 歌
迷 擔 心 落 空 ﹐ 竟 於 凌 晨 三 時 開 始 排 隊 等
候 ﹐ 而 大 會 有 見 及 此 ﹐ 也 特 別 將 名 額 增
至 三 百 人 ﹐ 以 免 歌 迷 失 望 而 回 。 歌 迷 除
了 借 機 會 向 慧 琳 致 送 禮 物 和 拍 合 照 外 ﹐
更 有 一 名 男 歌 迷 持 紅 玫 瑰 向 她 公 開 示 愛
﹐ 大 叫 「 我 勁 鍾 意 Kelly 呀 ﹗ 」 ﹐ 又 有
女 歌 迷 遞 上 會 考 證 書 給 她 過 目 ﹐ 慧 琳 即
時 讚 賞 及 鼓 勵 一 番 。

公 司 續 約 一 事 ﹐ 一 直 是 大 家 所 關 注 的 問
題 ﹐ 加 上 唱 片 公 司 高 層 黃 柏 高 去 向 未 定
﹐ 更 令 歌 迷 為 之 擔 心 。 但 慧 琳 已 聲 言 唱
片 和 工 作 都 會 如 常 進 行 ﹐ 不 會 受 到 影 響
﹐ 但 會 否 跟 隨 黃 柏 高 ﹐ 就 要 稍 後 才 決 定

Miriam
The movie premiere
for the Power Puff Girls was held on Sunday night and Kelly, DJ
Vincci and Josie Ho playing the voices for Blossom, Bubbles and
Buttercup respectively were all present for the occasion. Kelly had
expressed that she has done the voices for Blossom in both the
Cantonese and Mandarin versions of the movies. She had spent 2 days
to complete the job and she was satisfied with her pay. As Blossom
is a 10 year old kid, Kelly had to raise her voice when dubbing
to make it realistic. This was not the first time that Kelly had
done dubbing for an animated movie. However, this was her first time
to do it for a kid's voice.
Commenting on
Miriam's recent concert that the show had started late for an hour
and she had frequently sang out of tune, Kelly gave her support to
her good friend. Kelly explained that it is normal to feel nervous
for the first show. Furthermore, the rundown for the concert is
usually tight and it is not easy to revert back to the one that was
planned. Kelly also hoped that Miriam would be more careful on her
diet and not to take any more slimming teas before her concert. As
the stage for Miriam's concert was 4 sided, reception and going into
the right key will be more difficult. Kelly felt that this is a
common problem that many singers encounter and everyone should
continue to improve on it. Kelly will later go to Shanghai for work
and unless if there were going to be any last minute changes, she
would not be attending Miriam's concert.

， 今 次 幫 《 飛 》 片 配 了 廣 東 話 及 國 語 兩
個 版 本 ， 花 了 兩 天 時 間 便 完 成 ， 酬 勞 亦
很 滿 意 ； 由 於 戲 中 的 「 花 花 」 是 個 十 歲
的 小 女 孩 ， 為 把 角 色 演 繹 得 更 神 似 ，
Kelly 在 配 音 時 ， 還 特 別 把 聲 線 提 高 。 Kelly
已 不 是 首 次 配 音 ， 但 為 小 朋 友 配 音 還 是
第 一 次 。
談 到 楊 千 嬅 的 首 場 演 唱 會 遲
了 一 小 時 開 騷 兼 走 音 ， 對 此 ， Kelly 當 然
力 撐 老 友 。 Kelly 覺 得 開 騷 第 一 日 ， 心 情
難 免 緊 張 ， 加 上 Rundown 編 排 緊 密 ， 很 難 再
跟 回 原 先 安 排 ， 她 希 望 千 嬅 要 小 心 食 嘢
， 不 要 再 飲 用 減 肥 茶 。 除 了 飲 食 外 ， 千
嬅 今 次 是 開 四 面 台 ， 收 音 及 入 Key 方 面 會
比 較 困 難 ， Kelly 覺 得 不 只 是 千 嬅 ， 很 多
歌 手 也 會 發 生 這 類 情 況 ， 所 以 大 家 要 繼
續 努 力 做 到 最 好 。 Kelly 又 說 她 會 到 上 海
工 作 ， 除 非 臨 時 有 更 改 ， 否 則 應 不 能 前
往 捧 千 嬅 場 。

Hugged
And Kissed By Fans
Kelly was recently
in Chengdu to attend a promotional event for Fuji Film. Several
thousand fans had long waited at the atrium and some had even queued
overnight just to have a glimpse of her. Some of them had went to
her concert in HK and Kelly was extremely touched after knowing
about it.
When Kelly was
playing games with her fans on stage, a female fan requested to hug
her and Kelly obliged. Some had also gave Kelly a kiss after
receiving prizes and there were others that got so emotional after
seeing her and started crying. On seeing the fans that stayed
overnight to see her, Kelly cracked the joke that they must have not
had their bathe.

當 Kelly 與 Fans 在 台 上 大 玩 遊 戲 時
， 有 女 歌 迷 要 求 與 她 擁 抱 ， Kelly 親 切 地
來 者 不 拒 ， 有 歌 迷 領 獎 時 乘 機 錫 Kelly ，
更 有 歌 迷 因 看 見 偶 像 而 激 動 得 淚 如 泉 湧
。 當 Kelly 得 悉 有 歌 迷 為 霸 頭 位 通 宵 守 候
， 即 開 玩 笑 說 ： 「 你 們 豈 不 是 昨 晚 沒 有
洗 澡 ？ 」 令 歌 迷 啼 笑 皆 非 。

Troubled
By Criticisms
Kelly had made her
clarification to the public on the radio programmes yesterday that
she had not lip sync in her concert. In her interview, she had
mentioned that she was troubled by this matter. She had wondered why
the matter was only brought up after her concerts had ended.
Furthermore, she felt surprised that the question about not singing
live was not posed to her but to other singers instead. Initially,
she did not feel the need for clarifications because she was
innocent. However, the matter got worse when more singers had given
their comments and it made her concert seemed not even worth a cent.
Keeping silent was no longer possible.
On her views on lip
sync, Kelly said that she supports singing live but some conditions
does not permit that. After this matter did she feel that who are
her real friends that give their support when she is in trouble? She
answered that all of them had answered well and she would like to
thank them.

問 我 ， 而 係 問 其 他 藝 人 。 我 本 來 諗 住 清
者 自 清 ， 但 後 來 愈 搞 愈 多 人 ， 講 到 我 個
演 唱 會 一 文 不 值 ， 所 以 要 澄 清 。 」
至 於 對 咪 嘴 有 何 意 見 ， Kelly 說 ：
「 我 都 支 持 唱 Live ， 不 過 有 時 為 視 聽 效 果
先 咁 做 。 」 問 Kelly 會 否 因 此 事 發 現 誰
是 真 正 的 朋 友 ， 她 說 ： 「 個 個 都 答 得 好
好 ， 好 多 謝 佢 㳜 ！ 」

Clarification
On Not Singing Live In Concert
Kelly's
Dynacarnival Concert was completed last month but after that, many
criticisms were made that she did not sing live for the fast songs.
Kelly finally made her clarification to this matter yesterday.
Kelly had expressed
in her letter to the media that she had trained hard for two months
for the concert and had even lost 10 pounds and hurt herself
frequently in her rehearsals. The response from the audience was
that the show was wonderful and her hard work was worthy. However,
recent reports in newspapers mentioned that she did not sing live in
her concert. As she did not want any misunderstanding with the
organisers or cause her fans to be worried, she felt that there was
a need to make a clarification. She explained that she had
experienced frequent shifting of her headset and improper volume
control during her Paisley Galaxy concert in 2000. This time, under
the suggestion of the Australian mixing engineer, she had decided to
use a method that has been commonly practised in overseas concerts.
That is to have a pre-recorded version of her singing to be used as
backing when the volume of her live performance gets too low or when
there are any technical problems. Both the recorded version and her
live performance are played separately in 2 channels during the
concert. Unexpectedly, what she did was criticised by the media to
be unprofessional. Following the criticisms after the first show,
she did not carry on using the recorded version.
Kelly added that
she was not the kind of person that chooses the easy way out and let
things just happen and not bothering about them. She had wanted the
audience to have a well-rounded concert superb in visual as well as
audio enjoyment but had unexpectedly caused such unfortunate
misunderstandings to happen. She also stressed that she had no
intention to cheat the audience. However, from this incident, she
said that she will need to have some rethinking and reflection
because she had thought that no one will have doubts in her ability
in live performance. Knowing that a portion of the public has such
doubts, she said that she will continue to work harder in her
singing.

Kelly 在 聲 明 信 中 表 示 為 今 次 演 唱
會 苦 練 兩 個 月 、 激 瘦 十 磅 及 滿 身 瘀 傷 ，
出 來 效 果 獲 得 各 方 讚 賞 感 到 亦 有 價 值 。
不 過 近 日 有 報 道 指 她 唱 快 歌 「 咪 嘴 」 ，
她 不 想 製 作 上 誤 解 令 歌 迷 及 支 持 她 的 人
擔 心 ， 才 覺 得 有 必 要 澄 清 。 她 解 釋 因 上
次 「 花 花 宇 宙 演 唱 會 」 試 過 戴 Headset( 耳 機
咪 高 峰 ) 唱 快 歌 時 ， 發 生 Headset 移 位 、 撞
咪 、 噴 咪 及 大 細 聲 情 况 。 所 以 今 次 在 澳
洲 音 響 師 建 議 下 ， 效 法 外 國 演 唱 會 做 法
， 她 一 邊 戴 着 Headset 收 入 現 場 歌 聲 ， 另 一
方 面 將 之 前 錄 好 的 「 手 咪 」 聲 帶 作 襯 底
， 兩 條 聲 軌 同 時 出 現 。 若 發 生 撞 咪 及 大
細 聲 時 ， 便 將 襯 底 聲 軌 音 量 調 高 ， 避 免
有 欠 佳 音 響 出 現 。 但 料 不 到 「 想 專 業 換
來 不 專 業 」 情 况 。 由 於 首 場 演 唱 會 翌 日
已 收 到 被 指 「 咪 嘴 」 ， 所 以 第 二 場 已 放
棄 此 做 法 。
她 又 強 調 撫 心 自 問 不 是 偷 雞 、
取 巧 及 得 過 且 過 的 人 。 她 想 做 極 盡 視 聽
之 娛 的 演 唱 會 ， 卻 引 起 不 必 要 誤 會 。 她
強 調 絕 無 欺 騙 之 心 。 不 過 今 次 迴 響 她 感
到 應 該 反 省 及 自 我 檢 討 ， 因 她 一 直 以 為
沒 有 人 懷 疑 她 的 現 場 演 唱 能 力 。 現 在 有
一 部 分 人 不 認 同 ， 日 後 要 加 把 勁 仍 須 努
力 。
