It All Started With A Dream

Chan Wai Lum is not my real name. Of course, my surname is not fake. The middle character "Wai" was passed down to my sister and me. As for "Lum", this character was given by a fortuneteller. This was because the fortuneteller had told me that my original name lacked "Wood" according to Chinese constellations. Hence, the last character was changed to "Lum" instead.

I am not a superstitious person but I did not want anyone to worry about me. As such, I have been following beliefs till this date.
